Can anyone explain what exactly "Animal Training" does?

You train an animals and then obey your commands.

You train an animals and then obey your commands. I was honestly hoping for something a bit more specific, but if that's the case why not just use Leadership and make an animal a NPC?

Leadership allows for you to give a bonus to their actions after they allocate their stones. Animal Training allows you to tell them exactly where they need to put their stones. If you have animal training and leadership then you can order them to perform an action and then increase that action. Without Animal training that NPC very well could turn on you. Animal Training ensures it does not.

Also when using leadership against such a npc unless you would have some other method of communication (such as flacon's bird telepathy) it may be difficult to actually lead them...
