Setting: The heroes lost the war, not because of one villains grand master plan, but because of the folly of the nations and people they had strived and loved to protect. As if Apocalypses Horseman themselves sought to strangle the earth, not even the greatest minds of the heroic age can stop several tons of nukes that are dropped with little to no notice. The wars were grand and the stuff of legend, the early days of the new world were both barbaric and brutal, but even after the world went white, life is finding a way. Most of the so called "heroes" or "superbeings" are either dead, gone, or un accounted for. The Mutant genome has all but dissappeared off the face of the earth, with rumors of a commune being alive and well in the Savage Land. Alien races now keep well enough away from the irradiated rock, now its all on whats left of humanity to survive every day. But now and days, with the age of Heroes behind them, there is still room for something greater...something more, hopefully a chance for heroes to be reborn. Premise: Think along the lines of Mad Max meets the Marvel comics we all have come to know and love. The PC's are literally going to start on the back of a rusty and old pickup truck driving to the island of Manhattan to scrounge for supplies , since numbers usually equate to a better chance of survival. This is about the start to a new arms race as the PC's find the means to powers. Char Gen: Still with me? Great! Stone count will be 12+5 in challenges, all of you will be "base" humans that will find implements/gain extra normal abilities throughout the course of the game. Character ties are encouraged, there will be a reource angle to the game. Having someone with some smarts might not hurt either. Loose timeline is sayyyyy 50-60 years after everything went to shit. Questions or comments post them below, tentative Deadline will be July 1st for submissions.

"The marauders should have shot me in the head instead of just setting me on fire. Wife always told me that I was too stubborn. That includes dying it seems. Now, it's a nice truck you got there, but the oil it has been losing doesn't just serve for people like me to find you, it will also cause it to break, sooner than later. Let me go with you and I'll make sure the thing is still working until destination, deal? Oh, I forgot, where are we going?"
The Mechanic is a middle aged man, whose burn scars make hard to precise an approximate age. He betrayed the marauder group he worked with for reasons undisclosed, and they burned him and left his charred self for dead. His presence on the group is due to convenience if you listen to his explanation, but someone in the group will notice him look at them as he knew them. Maybe they had meet before he was burned alive? Or does that person just remind of someone from the charred man's past? In his restless dreams anyone that comes close can hear his feverish mumbles of losing someone...

Sorry for not getting back sooner DIo, players have the option of using the split energy mechanic, and any other houserules want to be used just ask and I will judge on a case by case basis. so far the players who have submitted are Dionon Lilithsboy Gris and DK have expressed interest, as a note the two who have submitted both seem to be competant in tech in some way, just as a note since I know Gris is making some kind of gearhead by the looks of it

Kinda interested in a gunslinger or some kind... or a character trying to maintain a "bug out"/bunker as it were. Hmm.

I will change and submit a new character if you wish Goats. If not I will send an edit because I did not know we were splitting energy

Since you said that characters should be tied, I was sort of waiting for people to comment on what they were playing. But yeah, that's no excuse, will sort a CAD soon.

Done. I love low stones CADs, make my life really easy. Grabbed a Personalized: Mechanic action to not grab technology (as the character knows nothing beyond his area of expertise) and to avoid overlap.

Submitted skeleton-CAD for a support-focused scavenger type. Still writing background. Good luck to everyone submitting stuff!
