Once, they were EXILES; heroes from countless alternate worlds who had become unhinged from time, tasked by the enigmatic Timebroker with fixing different realities to prevent a ripple effect of damage across the multiverse. The mission was not an easy one, with many casualties along the way, but those who survived were promised one thing. That in the end, once their journey was complete, they would be returned home to resume their old lives where they left off.
But this was a lie.
Now, with their time as Exiles at an end, these heroes find they have not been sent back to their original worlds as promised. Instead, they have been left to fend for themselves on one last barren, unfamiliar version of Earth, populated by other refugees who had become unhinged from time before them. Left in Exile, will these heroes ever find their way back to the worlds they once called home?

So basically this would be an Exiles inspired game featuring alternate versions of existing Marvel characters; however, instead of hopping from one new reality to another from issue to issue, you would find yourselves trapped in a "dumping ground" filled with fellow former Exiles who have completed their missions but were left stranded instead of being sent home. The game would be based around a) trying to find a way to actually get everyone home once and for all, and b) trying to survive with no resources and very little help on an unfamiliar planet filled with superpowered ex-Exiles who may have gone a little stir crazy.
If anybody's interested in playing, characters should be built using the normal 40 stones plus a maximum of 10 more from Challenges. I would only accept actions, modifiers, etc from the published books unless you run it by me first, although I'm happy for people to split Durability into individual Health, Energy and Regeneration (all at normal cost rather than paying triple). No actions would be outright banned, although I would suggest that things that require a lab or equipment like Inventing or Genetic Engineering probably wouldn't get too much use considering the setting you're going to find yourselves in.
Any Challenges should be justifiable as an actual problem for your characters, but otherwise you should be fine to take any challenges you want. The only one that would definitely not get you any stones in this game would be the Mutant challenge (you can still be a mutant by all means; you just won't get 3 challenge stones for it); instead, you can earn up to 3 challenge stones if you rely on equipment that could be lost, stolen or run out of ammo as it won't be easily replaceable in this setting. As a rough guide, 1 stone would be for someone who uses conventional equipment that could be bought with Wealth, who could either scavenge replacements or make more in the right circumstances (eg, Punisher's arsenal, Hawkeye's bow); 2 stones for someone who uses a signature piece of irreplaceable equipment but still has enough other powers or skills to be useful without it (eg, Spider-Man's web shooters, Captain America's shield); finally, 3 stones would be for someone who relies entirely on their equipment and is virtually helpless without it (eg, Iron Man and most other power armored characters).
Another Challenge that I would encourage would be the equivalent of a Deadly Enemy or Vulnerable Loved One, meaning you have a strong prior relationship with someone back on your original world that would affect the way you might feel about any alternate versions of that same character. If someone is your arch-enemy back home, for example, you might struggle to trust a seemingly 'good' version of that character you may meet; similarly, if someone is your best friend, mentor or loved one back home, you might have a hard time treating an alternate version of them as an enemy.
If you're interested in playing or have any questions, either post here or send me a message. Thanks a lot!
