Ulquiorra
Finding something else of perhaps interest, Uquiorra decided to get a closer look. He jumped into the air and started to walk toward the creature, as if he was walking on the air. staying ready in case the creature would be agressive.
--------------------- 4 in air walking, to get closer to the eagle like pokemon. 4 in acrobatics, shifted to defense.

You walk up in the air as the bird takes notice of you and continues to circle around.

Ulquiorra
Well, this would be good enough to begin with. From what he was told, he would need to weaken the pokemon before been able to catch it. There would be no need to use his sword for such a small fight, extending his hand toward the bird, he took aim and called forth a cero. The small green blast to hit the bird without killing it.
---------------------------------- 5 in Cero, to blast the bird like pokemon.

You fire off a blast that barely clips the bird's wing. With a screech, it turns around and heads straight for you.

-...-
Without a word, Ulquiorra gave the bird an unimpressive look and lift his hand once more toward the pokemon, hitting him a bit stronger this time, in order to wound it and catch it.
------------------------------------- 9 to blast the pokemon 8 in acrobatics, shifted to defense.

You nail a direct hit... It plummets a bit, but catches itself charging and smashing right into you! (OOC: Lose 1w.)

Ulquiorra
That the bird was able to catch a scratch out of him was something in itself. There was no expression on his face, but this would be worth it. In this aerial fight, the bird was closer to him now, he took the time to give it a good punch to the body.
-------------------------------- 14 in close combat, hand to hand, inhuman might, vs the bird.
10 in acrobatics, shifted to defense, +6 from Hierro, no x2 damage, no AP, +6 from reflexive dodge, all in defense.

You punch the bird sending it sailing and plummeting into the forest with a loud crash.

Ulquiorra then went down toward the forest, hopefully the bird wouldn't have died, if so, then it wouldn't be worth it. Landing on the ground, he looked for the bird and once he made sure it was still alive, threw a pokeball at it, with the hope of catching it.
-------------------------------------------- 3 in flight to land.
4 in close combat to throw the pokeball at the bird.

You throw said ball at it... It shakes for several seconds before going still a successful capture.

Ulquiorra
He walked up to the pokeball and took it in his hand, looking at it for a moment. How these creatures were destructured to fit in these was still amazing. He would probably need to heal the being before using it into battle. So he went back toward the nearest town in order to do so.
--------------------------------- 3 in speed to get back to town.
Also, do you have the stats of the pokemon, and to make sure, wich one is it? Talonflame, Braviary? Pigeott? Someone else?

(No, and it's a Braviary.)
You arrive at a Pokémon Center and get it healed quickly.

Once it's healed, Ulquiorra took it out of the pokeball to look at it.
-Better?-
He asked the pokemon, sitting on one of the chair at the center, while looking around at other trainers.
--------------------------- 2 in social skills, trying to befriend the pokemon.

"Braviary." It nodded eyeing you with curiosity.

Ulquiorra
-Good...-
He said. He'd rather have soldiers in full strenght then half dead. The bird was quite tough. But still, it would need training to become stronger. He patted the bird and looked around. He had seen trainers fight before, calling commands to these creatures, perhaps doing so would help him grow stronger.
-Are you up for some training then? -
