Sayo
Sayo silently cursed in her mind upon seeing the girl enter. Seryu... she wasn't in those files they had looked up, so she guessed the girl was a recent recruit to the group. She thought herself lucky until then, as she had never met any of the Jaegers... but with Seryu there, her cover was basically blown. She did her best to show no reaction to her arrival other than 'one of surprise at seeing a member she hadn't seen yet', despite how she felt like she probably only had mere seconds to live by then. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5 into Social Skills to not show her dismay, and how she was mentally giving fate the middle finger.

"Seryu, I'm glad you arrived, this is Sayo, my new lover. She will be accompanying us on our campaign."
She walks over with a warm smile and extends her hand. "I'm glad to meet you, I hope we can work well together." She says with total friendliness and sincerity almost as if she does not remember you at all.

Sayo
The brunette couldn't help but blink, a bit surprised, but quickly shook her hand and nodded. "...Likewise. I'm... looking forward to it."
She had no idea how the girl could possibly have forgotten her, but she mentally sighed in relief. Looking back at Esdeth, she asked:
"...Does that make me a member of the Jaegers?"

"Me too, I would have been here sooner, but I took a really nasty blow to the head in a fight recently, and I needed to see a special nuerologist for follow up treatment because Stylish doesn't know much about how the brain works." She said.
"Maybe for the future, but for now you will need further training in order to ascertain your skills." She said.
----------
That evening you watch as the Jagers tear out a bandit stronghold.
Bols burns most of the place down with Rubicante.
Wave, Kurome, and Gloria tear up the bandits in the center with their swords Grand Chariot, Yatsufasa, and Ten Commandments while McCain uses a chainsaw on a stick called Bloodreaper
Standing atop a charging Koro, Seryu unleashes a volley of fire from a massive anti-tank rifle.
Standing alongside a biological Teigu named Enma Wukong has it transform into a thick staff which he extends to crush two bandit heads at once.
Run flies over the battlefield on wings called Mastema shooting feathers through the fleeing bandits. As Phirra rides a flying Chariot pulled by Bull Teigu called Gordius Wheel hurling explosive javelins.
Finally from afar Stylish and Travis stand with the later firing a pair of revolver Teigu called Ocelot.
"Watch carefully dear." Esdeth said. "These are the people you will be working with, my subordinates." She said as the 11 Jaegers walk in a side by side line amonst the flames of the fortress.

"Oh, believe me, I am watching", she said in all honesty, taking mental notes on the Teigu she witnessed. "It's... frankly amazing", she added, sincerely impressed.
She wasn't sure exactly of how to proceed, of if it'd be best to escape ASAP or stay as long as she could to gather a lot of info, but she had to admit that this time spent with the Jaegers would prove invaluable if she could return to Night Raid with all the information she learned. Several people among the Jaegers... actually seemed like good people, which confused her a bit. Why did they fight on the side of the Empire? Why did they support its corrupted existence?
Even Esdeth herself left her perplexed. Despite her initial... 'first encounter' with her being rather unpleasant - that hit to the neck and the ensuing unconsciousness had not been especially enjoyable - the feared General was proving to be incredibly nice and affectionate towards her. It seemed like her procclaimed interest in her was genuine...
"What are the Jaegers' duties, by the way? ...Wiping out bandits and criminals wherever they are encountered?" she asked innocently.

"Our Primary mission is the elimination of Night Raid, and any Teigu users hostile to the Empire." She said.
-------------
Later that evening you are being escorted to Esdeth's chanbers by Travis, Esdeth's servants having provided you sleepwear of your choosing.
"I'm glad we had a chance to talk like this." He said. "Esdeth's infatuation has provided an ample opertunity." He said out of the blue asn he presses a damp sweet smelling cloth against your neck. "A little perfume for the lucky lady." He said with a mischievous smile "Have a good night." He said raising his hand to open the door. He takes your hand and leads you inside. "Good night. I hope you do what comes right to you." He said before whispering in your ear. "The perfume I dabed on you is a mild aphrodisiac and persuasive pheromones. You have three options with the General... Find a weakness, get her to defect... or eliminate entirely." He lets go of your hand leaving a palm size folding knife in your hand. "Viva Revolution." He says leaving the room without another word.

"I'm glad we had a chance to talk like this. Esdeth's infatuation has provided an ample opertunity."
"Huh?" Sayo let out, surprised... wearing a significantly pretty forest green nightgown.
"A little perfume for the lucky lady. Have a good night."
"T-Thanks, but..." she began, confused.
"Good night. I hope you do what comes right to you. The perfume I dabed on you is a mild aphrodisiac and persuasive pheromones. You have three options with the General... Find a weakness, get her to defect... or eliminate entirely."
She looked at him wide-eyed, and frankly speechless. She looked at the knife in her hand, then back at him.
"Viva Revolution."
She smiled, nodding. Allies in the most unexpected of places... maybe things could go well after all.
"Thank you..." she said with a nod, going in to meet with the general.

You go inside to find the place empty, perhaps it would be a good time to hide the blade while you await her.

Sayo
She took a rapid look around. She needed it at arm's reach, but not close enough that Esdeth would have any chance of noticing it by accident. She did her best to hide it someplace fulfilling those two requirements, as well as she could. In truth, however, she was seriously hoping she wouldn't have to use it. If she could convince the general to defect to the Revolutionary Army... and if she was as powerful as her friends from Night Raid had told her... this night could turn the tide of the war entirely. Maybe some of her most loyal companions from the Jaegers could come with them as well, who knew? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5 into Intelligence to look for a spot to hide the knife, preferably within arm's reach, but not close enough that the general risks finding it by accident.

You hide it just under the matress of the bed. slowly the bedroom door opens and Esdeth strolled in... wearing a black and light blue flower and obi yukata gown, and silver high heels. "Hello my dear. How is your accommodations going for you?" She asked.

Sayo
"So far, so good", she said honestly. It was true... if she had not gone through what she had... if the Jaegers were the ones to have found her first... if she had never learned of the corruption of the Empire... she would have been pleased to be part of this life.
"I have to ask", she added, looking outside the window. "...What is it that made you interested in me in the first place? ...You said I proved myself worthy of you, but how? My fighting skills?" she asked with a smile, looking back at the bluenette woman.

"It's simple really, you have strength and skill sure, but you also have a wonderful smile and a charm I just cannot explain." She says strolling up to the side of the bed slipping one delicate dainty foot out of her shoe, followed slowly and deliberately by the other.

(OOC: By the way, does that perfume Travis used on Sayo also affects her?)
Sayo
Sayo blushed, unable not to look at the woman's feet for a few seconds, her heart beating fast in her chest, before looking back at her as she sat on the bed. She had to admit, Esdeth was a captivating person, to say the least. She really didn't want to kill her if she didn't have to.
"...I see... I-I have to admit, I am not indifferent to your own charm either... and I am honored that you would be interested in me in such a way." She paused. "It'S just... there is something I have to confess. But first... pray tell... may I ask you something?"
She looked at her, seemingly sad to have to ask.
"...Why is a wonderful woman such as yourself... a smart and capable and strong-willed person as lady Esdeth is... defending the interests of such a corrupted Empire?" she asked. "Why do you fight under the orders of Prime Minister Honest... a cowardly man who hides behind his subordinates and barely ever dirties his own hands?" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 5 into Iron Will, combined with...

(Yes, but since she is aware of it she can fight it.)
"Oh my dear Sayo." She said crawling up to her given her a healthy view down the front of her yukata. "I am a woman of simple tastes contrary to what you see... I live for conflict, battle, the chance to inflict pain on others, I admit that might be disturbing to you, but that is simply how I was raised. The strong dominate the weak. That is what my father taught be growing up. The Empire under Honest provides greater chances for putting down rebellions, and conquering new lands. It's a simple matter of logic."
She shakes her head. "I admit I find the man a rather loathsome slug, but he provides me the way to live my life how I want, and let's be truthful here. He needs me a lot more than I need him, and he knows it, even if he wanted to be rid of me, he knows I'd crush him the minute he tried to do anything."
She curled up beside you holding your head against the side of her bossom. "This is undoubtably offensive to you. That is understandable, I cannot force you to just magically accept my views overnight. Even still, I hope you will at least give me a chance to show you how wonderful your life will be at my side."

Sayo
The brunette's cheeks reddened some more as she smiled somewhat nervously, trying to calm her body down. No woman had ever caused such arousal in her... no man either, in fact. The perfume was not helping, but she did her best to ignore its effects for the moment and focus her mind.
"In fact..." Sayo began, "...I think you could be surprised by how similar my viewpoint is to yours. I think conflicts, and battles, are not only unavoidable, but can in fact be quite fun. And certain events in my life have convinced me that some people only understand violence, which convinced me to use their language to... communicate. And in all honesty, I already believe that life... by your side... would be very enjoyable. I have to admit I don't really feel any desire to harm the weak, as I know firsthand that given time, they can be strong... but that's the only minor point where our ideals differ."
She looked in the bluenette's eyes.
"...That's why I have no problem with you. My problem... is with the Empire."
She shook her head.
"...Esdeth-sama... I lost a very close friend not too long ago... and I suffered greatly as well, at the hands of a corrupted noble family who were having a lot of fun poisoning people from the country, and slowly torturing them to death for the sheer fun of it. They killed my friend without mercy, slowly, cruelly, and extremely painfully. Now... that was bad enough... until I found out that Imperial soldiers were actually protecting the family, fully aware of what they were doing... and yet, not intervening in our favor, just allowing them to do as they pleased. I would have died too, but I somehow miraculously survived. When I came to, I learned more about the Empire and its ways... I learned more about all it took from people like me."
She looked at the bluenette, almost with regret.
"...In my wildest dreams, Esdeth-sama... you would be with me, as you desire, and we would seek conflict and battle but for nobler purposes in addition to the simple love of it, as there is never any shortage of evil even in a world at peace. We would utterly destroy those who would stand in our way... because we would be fighting for good, and our enemies would be beyond redemption. And nothing would stop us from conquering other lands once the Empire is once again free and just, because having the land under a single banner is not a bad thing as much as a different way to do things. But..." She sighed. "...I'm sorry. I hate the Empire with all of my heart. It took too much from me. It's because of its corruption that my friend died... that I almost did, too. And... As much as I understand you wouldn't enjoy a life of pure peace... I can't give my heart to one who willingly serve under the Empire's rule."
She took her hand in hers.
"...Please, Esdeth-sama... reconsider. There is much battle to be had, much conflict to be resolved on the side of the just and the honorable, as well. You need not follow the Empire's wicked ways, yet still can enjoy doing what you like simply by choosing new enemies. In fact, if you turned against the Empire, there would be so much fighting to be had, you would barely know where to start killing, first. If you came with me... we could bring this Empire down once and for all, and seek out new battles to be fought. The world is huge... it could be ours to travel, if only that damned Empire didn't stand between us", she pleaded. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Renewing my stones, this time to convince Esdeth that I would love her dearly, should she just leave the Empire behind; and that the reason for that is my hatred for the Empire.
