Hello Everyone. For those who do not know me Im gspawn23. Ive had some good games and bad games listed here. This time around I shall see if I can make the legendary Curse of Strad game come to life here as a 5th edition Dungeons & Dragons game here. Im looking for at least 2-5 players and as of now I shall debate on the level of the players based on my discretion as GM. If I get enough requests to get this its own files I will ask a fellow mod to open a game for me.
If you have question please ask here for now till I get enough players to create its own file here. I will try to be on 3X a week maybe 2 pending on my work. Leave me a pvt message if you need a hold of me

I've never played 5e, but I'd be interested in giving it a go if my bare knowledge of 3.5e is good enough to get me through the door.

Well you can find the 5th Edition books on the D&D sites or google in general to get the pdf. ANd if you want a crack sure. Dod you have a concept in mind of a character you want?

I suggest standard array between 9-15, unless you ask to roll for stats

Okay MCR yeah 3.5 dose help as far as the game-play is concerned.. They did do some teaks here and there. Also we will so Far have a potential Human Wizard/Necromancer ( At her 2nd level. Leska I did read it and you pick your school when achieving 2nd level). And an elf wizard. Lillithsboy are you gonna be true elf or a sub race of elf?
MCR dont worry about magic cause they got it covered unless you want to be a caster to XD

MCR Bards usually have something more intertwine as far as knowleges go. Rangers have a in depth of how to slay favored foes and stuff. And if the rogue is human he can take the highly skilled feat and be proficient in the arcane arts and be more magical investiagtion. Or the investigaton skill to be prof in.
TWF what consept did you have in mind?

I'm flexible as far as concepts go; I can wait and fill in a role that the party is missing, if necessary. I'm familiar with the system so I can play about anything. ^__^
EDIT: Unless you'd prefer we didn't do that sort of planning.
EDIT EDIT: I should ask, how do you want us to handle stats? Roll? Point-buy? Also, any house rules or optional rules (variant human traits, variant backgrounds, etc)?

TWF: I did state you can take standard array witch the book provides or you have the choice or rolling 4d6 Drop the lowest. I allow re roll of 1's once per roll. If they come up a 1 a second time that must be taken into consideration. When you roll the dice you drop the lowest number and add the three numbers. You do that 7X. As far as variant human trait and stuff like that ask me before hand. As far as backgrounds are consern pick up one that makes sense. ANd also in the creation the backgrounds do generate skills to be proficient in as well ^_^
Dionon: If you mean by the book as in just basic book. I would say yes but if there is something you wanted that's in another book ask me ^_^
On another note We will be having at least 2 Wizards so far in the party so Caster as far as the arcane goes is covered. When it comes to finding the balance as a team. As a GM im open to concepts to what your creating.
Also As far as it is concerned Leska wants to be a Necromancer/Wizard as a human. Lillithsboy Wants to be A Elf wizard. To what school he would jump in when meeting his sub class idk. And if he is a sub race of elf or pure elf. Still up to him, but that's what we have so far.

EDIT: Reroll: 1d61d6 = 10 Results: 16, 13, 13, 12, 11, 10 Not bad! I can definitely work with that. Given that we have two squishy casters, I think I'll make either a Fighter or Paladin.
