As soon as Glenn's defiant attack connected square with his opponent's chest, reality flickered back into existence! The once-alive man managed to break free from the illusion that was tormenting him to no seeming end.
Scarecrow was down but not out. He slowly managed to lift his ring finger... On the verge of another Lantern attack. What was Kane to do?
OOC: You've broken through the illusion of Mephisto and landed a solid blow on Scarecrow. He's down on the floor but ready to go on the offensive once more.

Unfettered. Kane swung his giant mitt of a hand to grasp at Scarecrow's hand with crushing force and pull as hard as he could intent on at the very least breaking his hand, and at most ripping said hand clean off!
8 stones eff in Pro Wrestler to grasp and crush Scarecrow's hand.
6 stones in Str to attempt to rip the hand off his body.
Glenn wasted no time in grasping the opportunity before him...by grasping Scarecrow's ring hand hard and yanking with sadistically-excessive force...ripping the extremity off with extreme prejudice! The yellow presence bathing the mad villain soon died, leaving him with mundane clothing and no access to his Lantern powers in the foreseeable future.
The man screamed and writhed on the floor as the blood from his stump made like a grisly geyser, spraying about.
OOC: Kane has disarmed Scarecrow in an almost-literal fashion.
Kane ended his attacker's suffering by snuffing the very life from his body...courtesy of a boot the skull! A nasty crunch confirmed that the devil-powered wrestler killed the villain out for him, as the remains of his head were a red, greasy smear on the pavement.
And although he had sent a third soul screaming into the abyss of death, he still had no clue as to whom had sent these crazies after him. Perhaps...if he's (un)lucky...he'll run into someone willing to divulge such information.
Kane regarded the kill as just another victim, no more or no less than the last. As he walked away from the scene of the battle...he noticed something (relatively) odd. The ring-hand claimed from Scarecrow glowed in its usual golden color...as if the ring was acting independently!
Before he could ask what was going on...a yellow, high-definition hologram of the notorious alien criminal Thaal Sinestro appeared from the face of the weapon of light!
"Greetings, masked one." he said.
Could this night get any stranger?!...
OOC: Kane is now audience to a yellow ring hologram of Sinestro, in what is likely a two-way conversation.
Unimpressed, but not offended in the slightest, Sinestro addressed the undead wrestler from the safety of whatever stronghold or world he was in.
"Trust me, were we to be meeting in person...your arms would be reduced to mangled remains before your synapses would even dare have them rise up at me." he began. "Anyhow, I'm personally communicating you through the misappropriated ring of the lout you have eliminated to commend you for your act. This...Scarecrow...has violated my Corps' edicts many a time, and he has done a (daresay) remarkable job of evading my best agents to rescind the ring."
The ring then floated up to Kane's torso-level, and Sinestro's hologram readjusted its size to accommodate.
"But I'm not one to leave deserving individuals empty-handed, so to speak. While I can't grant you the power of a Yellow Lantern due to whatever force imbues you, I can however grant you one favor. Just name it and I will personally commit to it, unconditionally. Be grateful that you have earned such an honor, masked one, for it's one that I don't give out lightly..."
OOC: Kane has earned Sinestro's favor by killing Crane. In return, he is granting him a one-time courtesy of any kind.

"Hm...such hatred could only be rivaled by Atrocitus himself, but I'm sure you have given this decision much thought..." Sinestro remarked, then switching his attention briefly to a holographic keyboard...no doubt another yellow-light construct.
After what seemed to be a galactic-scale search, a near-perfect simulacrum of the Phenom appeared next to the red-skinned overlord.
"Is this the one you are referring to? Mark Calaway of Earth?"
OOC: Sinestro wants to make sure you're sending him after the right Undertaker.
"Very well, masked one." he replied. "In the meantime, keep this ring on your person. When the deed has been done, I will holographically confirm myself to you. Until the next time, then..."
And like that, the red-skinned spaceman vanished without nary a trace. Kane would have to take time to count his blessings and not his curses, as he now had curried the favor of an intergalactic warlord. Had he still felt any positive emotion left in his demonic shell of a body, it would be something akin to wonder or satisfaction.
Kane instinctively continued roaming the damp streets that night, not having any particular aim on where to go but still trying to figure out who has it out for him...and why these fools are coming after him like flies over dung. Predictably, his peace was once again disturbed.
A large, crimson cloud surrounded him on all sides in an instant. The Big Red Monster knew magical teleportation when he saw one, however, so he was not one bit surprised that a big cadre of individuals were romping about...thinking that they had the element of surprise. He could not make out who these people were at first...but once the cloud dissipated, it was all too apparent who his opponents were at that moment.
Several of the lot present were in familiar black and red garb; they were ninja, for the most part. At least 4 individuals stood out from the rest, however. One man, presumed to be the leader of the operation, had a dark-red tuxedo on and had 3 of what appeared to be claw marks over each eye...yet the eyes themselves seemed uncanny, to say the least. Another man was bulkier than the rest and he had mismatched clothing for some unexplained reason. There was one woman in biker-style clothing with a manic smirk on her face...half of which was flushed stark white with disease. And the remaining woman carried a steel fan on one hand and a trio of shuriken on the other; her not-too modest bodysuit had a "bullseye" pattern to it.
"Kane...on behalf of our master The Beast, you have been marked for execution." the smartly-dressed man said. "Mephisto is a vexing thorn on his side and he will not stand for competition. As such, all earthly agents of the Lower Depths must perish."
OOC: Kane has been intercepted by a small army of Hand ninja not too soon after his conversation with Sinestro ended. Their field leader claims that all of Mephisto's thralls are to be wiped out.
Glenn was less than pleased at yet another group of would-be killers out for his head, so he decided that if anyone would die for sure...it would be the scarred individual acting as the Hand's mouthpiece. The red-clad wrestler decided to rip the other man's throat out!
But it was for naught! The muscular ninja that stood with them dashed forward to intercept Kane with an agility that betrayed his stature! With one twist, he dislocated Kane's choking hand...and then followed up with an eye poke that somehow reached all the way to his decayed brain! Had he been a mortal man like before, an attack like that would have killed Kane...
"You will find that Kirigi is more than a match for you, cur." the tuxedoed man said as the other ninja and assorted members were carefully circling Mephisto's thrall.
OOC: Kane got intercepted by massive ninja Kirigi, who broke the former's hand and jammed his fingers into Glenn's eyes all the way to the brain. He loses 2w as a result.
