Yesterday late night I rewatched Terminator Genisys in HD. And as I watched it, the thought hit me.
What if, after Judgement day, Mutants began to develop?
So, how about a post apocalyptic Earth under Skynet rule but with the added twist of mutants, augments, and enhanced fighting along with ordinary people in a resistance movement to overthrow the machine?
Any how, this would need a GM. I am not that, just a player.

is this not the age of the future timeline where sentinels took over?
In a broken fashion. In that future it was Master Mold, confused about protecting humans from mutants when it considered them the same species, decided to take over the world for itself. It developed the Omega level Sentinels and Nimrod. That future timeline also saw Rachel Summers go back in time to try and change the future.
What I am proposing is more like Skynet takes over drops a ton of nuclear missiles to wipe out humanity and then begins to slowly exterminate the human race. However years after the bombs exploded residual nuclear particles have given rise to mutations among humans.
And in this world were John Carter rallies the humans and leads a war against Skynet, the rising mutants are seen as weapons of war against the machine.
Only I would think limiting people to low level mutants .... Magneto, Storm, Apacolypse and Mr Sinister and such would be a little uber powerful in this world.
Who honors those we love for the very life we live? Who sends monsters to kill us. And at the same time, things that will never die. Who teaches us whats real, and how to laugh at lies. Who decides why we live, and what we’ll die to defend. Who trains us, and who holds the key to set us free. It’s you. You have all the weapons you need. Now fight!
Hey. I dunno if you're interested in it, but I did some terminator write-ups a while back. Feel free to use them if you want!
“How do you pick up the threads of an old life? How do you go on, when in your heart, you begin to understand, there is no going back? There are some things that time cannot mend. Some hurts that go too deep...that have taken hold." “My name is Cernunnos, And I will love you like none other, For I have died a thousand tiny deaths, And every time I died I thought of you.”
