General interest - Persona or Captain Harlock

Hi guys! It's been a while, things have finally calm down a bit, and I've been running a few ideas in my head!

First off, is a Persona game, based on either Persona 3 or Persona 5, which I really enjoyed!

Basically, you'd be playing students at an High school, discover that you have persona power and depending on which persona I base my game on, go on with a similar story. Become vigilantes of the night, defeat shadows and save the world or become Phantom thieves, fight against the sins of this world and once again, save the world!


Second game idea, Captain Harlock, a more long term game. Harlock is recruiting new members for his crew! This renegade space pirate is on his way to explore the universe, after setting the hundred deathtonator on the Genesis clock, Harlock is giving humanity a second chance to redeem themselves, while mother Earth is slowly healing back after the Homecoming war. Explore space, new planets, encounter new species and live the life of a pirate! I'm looking for human player, I can accept descendant of the Sylvid specie, but consider this very rare.


I'll be looking for 3-4 players.

Stone count for Persona game will be 25+10 for the character, I'll be working the mechanics for the Personas.

Stone count for Space pirate game will be 30+10 for the character.

Soo, whichever game as more interest will be run. Feel free to ask questions!

The character is a high schooler. Understand that you are normal human with somewhat of an anime push so please respect normal human limitations, the Persona will do the rest

Crap! Still haven't played 5! Just beat another RPG, and have moved onto Nier Automata. Will play soon, though.

P5 is awesome! Really! One playtrought took me about 120 hours of gameplay, but I haven't done everything nor grinded for lvl all that much, so that gives you a good idea ^^ I'm starting New game + and well, will enjoy it as much as I did the first time! Persona is also one of my favorite game series of all time. P5 is a must!

First idea for the board 'd be a sporty karate girl.
Not much of an investigator, but more then enough to take an opponent down should she get around a persona. ;-)

Never played a Persona game, but the high school context always amuses me.

The whole gimmick is that you are a student, trying to get trough school life, with up and down but discover that you have some inner power call a Persona, which is a representation of yourself but extremely powerful.

To make it easier, it works a bit like how a meister and a weapon work together, but with the persona, you don't get separated.

How I intend it to work is that the Persona will be giving you guys stats bonus, extra actions and some modifiers depending on how you see your persona. I'll be setting a questionnary in order to make them according to your answers, but don't worry, all personas will possess the same amount of power, what will differ is the type according to your character personality.

And with 3 people, I'd be ready to start it if everyone is still interested.

Good to know. Question, though. Is this game going to be based on an already existing Persona universe/game? (P3, P4, P5?) or is it going to be an original concept? I'd like to know before thinking up a character.

Im basing it on P5 but I'll be making some changes as to make it more of an original concept.
