PROLOGUE I
HONOR AND LOYALTY
(Wray "The Grim" Dresden and Zorto the Hutt) It had been months now since the best and the brightest Elite team of Lord Vader had been assembled and trained for their coming trials. The day had come for their little group to gather and face their baptism of fire, as the right hand of the Emperor had finally decided to assign them their first official task, judging them ready. Or at least, they would take on that task as soon as they made it to Mustafar, where Vader had taken Naijix Morha, Sindor Krow and Zara Blacklight for what he called a final test in their abilities, likely related to the Force or some such... leaving the Vice-Admiral Wray "The Grim" Dresden, the Hutt of Mandalore Zorto, and the former Chiss smuggler Jayden to travel to the others' location aboard the Reaper, with Zorto's Belsiac's Shadow in the Star Destroyer's main hangar as they traveled through hyperspace. The group was gathered on the ship's bridge, staring at the lights as they headed straight for the Outer Rim planet, finally entering the last stretch of their voyage. Soon, they would be reunited with the others, and finally, all those months of training would begin meaning something. "Only four more hours, vice-admiral", said a beauteous redhead Imperial officer by their side, Captain Kyla Nankor... the executive officer of Dresden's main ship.

Zorto for his part ignored most of the others. His attention drawn more to the holocomic on his datapad than anything else.
"No Captain Imperium. Don't go in the slaver's den on your own with Karmine, she's just going to double cross you again." He whined to anyone who would take a moment to listen to his nerdy babbling.

Wray looked his second in command just barely holding back the smile. “Thank you Captain, if you could make sure our guests quarters are taken care of once more it would be greatly appreciated. Just meet me on the bridge when we drop from Hyperspace.” Wray actually found it difficult with the beautiful red head. He’d always had a soft spot for women and when he was a pilot it was no secret he frequented many cantinas and homes of young women around the galaxy. After Alderaan though and comforting Nankor through her loss he developed some emotions for her. What’s worse is she personally requested his ship making ... well everything much more difficult. Not that he was really complaining. She made his life easier.
“Mr. Zorto, Do or Miss Jayden require anything further before we reach our destination?”

"Oh, uh, let me check." Zorto said getting on the com. "Hey Jay. Do we need anything from the commander before we depart?" He asked.

"Of course, sir. I will see to it at once", the Captain said, leaving the bridge.
"I'm right here, big guy", the Chiss said by Zorto's side, playfully knocking on the metal of his armor lightly. "But nah, we're good. We've already re-supplied the Shadow, all systems are green to go, and fuel's full."

“Well then, I’ll leave you to your entertainment.” If nothing else is brought up Wray will try and track down Captain Nankor discreetly and “accidentally” bumping into her.

Zorto sighed and turned his attention back to his comic. "What did I tell you Captain? I knew she was gonna do it." He mumbled.

Zorto
"Karmine bein' a bitch again, sir?" Jayden asked with amusement, glancing at the holocomic, as some of the bridge's crew glanced at the strange duo, still getting used to having a Hutt and a Chiss as actually welcome guests aboard the Star Destroyer.
Wray
He met with the captain in the corridor as she was returning from the guest quarters as instructed.
"Ah... is something the matter, sir? I've just checked the rooms as you asked. Everything was installed properly, including the Hutt's new door", she said, referring to how the regular crew quarters' doors were too small to allow Zorto to pass without having to squeeze through a little, which was deemed too uncomfortable for a welcome guest of Lord Vader himself, and Dresden's, of course.

"You know it." He said showing her the page on his datapad. "Check out the deathtrap Captain Imperium is in now. No way he's getting out of that on his own."

“No Kyla, I uh, actually wanted to talk to you alone about how your doing. We can go to my office if you prefer?” Wray gave her a slight smile. To be honest he needed to clear his mind. He’s spent enough time around Vader to know he could get inside his head. It would be better if nothing troubled him and they knew where they stood. Either way Kyla deserved the truth, that he cared for her. He wasn’t trying to have a physical relationship, that would violate their position, no this probably wouldn’t work out and she will distance herself from him and their friendship or whatever it was would end. Atleast he would be honest.

Zorto
"Looks like it", the Chiss ex-smuggler said. "Tends to get himself in trouble far too easily if you ask me", she said with a grin, as one of the crewmen walked up to them.
"Sir. I'm told your quarters are ready if you wish to retire in them. The door was also fixed as Vice-admiral Dresden ordered", the man said to the Hutt.
Wray
"First name basis, sir? ...I take it this must be pretty serious", the redhead said, raising an eyebrow. "Of course. If you wish to speak in private, you need but to ask. Lead the way."

"Oh, cool thanks." He said slithering down there. "I can't wait for the next issue to see what happens next."

“Indeed..” The Vice Admiral turned sharply on his heels a grim expression on his otherwise youthful face. He was silent the entire time. Upon reaching his office slash quarters he had her sit and his face loosened up. He poured her a glass of water with ice. He sat down across from her. He didn’t consider himself high maintenance but he did like art and it should in the paintings and sculptures he had collected one of them from Alderaan. He turned to her after a brief silence. “Kyla, how have you felt here on the Reaper with the crew and your duties?”

"O' course. Hey, mind if I go for a nap in my room? I could use the rest", Jayden noted as they made their way to their rooms, passing by a patrol of Stormtroopers, who barely looked at them as they continued on.
Wray
Kyla eagerly accepted the glass, clearly thirsty. She sipped from it, her gaze settling on him with curiosity as he spoked.
"If I may speak honestly, sir? ...It's... been a dream come true, honestly", she said, thoughtful. "...I'm serving under you, a basically legendary TIE pilot and one of the best officers I had the pleasure to work with, who does not treat me as inferior because I'm a woman. I reached a quite respectable rank and am working on one of the Star Destroyers of Death Squadron itself, one of the greatest fleets in the Galaxy. I mean... what else could I wish for?"
