"No way normal battle droids would have dealt with that Sith war droid", Naijix pointed out. "And there were likely a lot more defenses when this place wasn't falling in ruins. We were just lucky."
The door opened before then, revealing an hexagonal chamber, with the aforementioned columns and sarcophagus.

(Wow... I really should read the whole post before I act... Thanks for the save Janus.)
"Okay. Lets grab what we need, and Get The Force Out. This place gives me the heebee jeebees." Zorto shivered as he tried to vavigate his large bulk through the chamber without

The young togruta moved in a little, as the doors open themselves in front of them. There was bound to be more to it, and if anything, a force ghost was waiting for them, but then again, not all force wielded would leave one behind...now which would it be? He was curious, but still careful, he tried to sense forward any presence of an otherworldly with lord.
-Let’s just not get our guard down just yet...-
He says, extending his senses ahead.

(ooc. No worries. After all who'd come up with weird holovid references if Zorto died ) "No luck, only the force, etc." Said Sindor with a grin closing his eyes ready to search his feelings as to the best way to find the holocron and avoid any traps. "And seriously my money would be on the Droidekars. Anyway let's see how this place has been trapped. Ooh, I hope it's one of those laser grids that move, they're always fun." A frown appeared on his face and an eye opened. "Except if you can't jump, um, hey Big Guy, do you wanna just back up there for a second....? You know, just in case?" =============== Use the force: 3 - search my feelings ===============

"Okay. I'm on it." Zorto said turning around, and moving back a few steps (or by Hutt Standards a body length and a half.)

There was nothing. No more threats, no more traps, no spirit, nothing. Whatever else might have been a danger either broke down in the centuries the crypt was buried, or was damaged by the results of more recent events. The sarcophagus was theirs for the searching.

Sindor frowned and moved forward slowly.
"I don't sense any traps." He said cautiously. "Of course that could just mean there is some sort of cloaking in place. Naj, your senses are better than mine, you got anything?"
He walked over to the sarcophagus and examined it carefully before opening it.

Zorto pulled out a grenade ready to throw it in the casket if anything started to pop out.
No stones spent yet. But basically I'm ready to throw a grenade in, and slam the thing shut just in case.

The young togruta shook his head.
-I’ve got nothing...pretty sure it’s safe...-
He says, as he walked closer to the sarcophagus. He looked around, observing what they could find. Technology wasnt his forte so he would let his companion do the search.

Nothing horrible happened as the casket was opened, other than revealing the nearly mummified, dusty remains of a long forgotten Sith lord, more dust than corpse by then, his ancient Sith armor closer to scrap metal at that point.
More importantly, however... a thin, dark, metallic grey cylinder rested undisturbed by the long dead Sith, and a triangular prism, orange in color, was set down simply in the corner of the sarcophagus, free for them to grab.

"Oh sweet, a new weapon. Dib-" Zorto was about to reach for it only for someone else to snatch it away. "Aww..."

Sindor allowed Zorto in.
"Lord Vader is probably going to want that eventually." He said with a grin. "But if you really want one we can definity arrange it. They take a bit of practice to use efficiently."
"The really interesting thing however..."
He stretched out his hand and used the force to lift the holocron. There was of course the chance that this would activate the holocron. He could only hope, the forbidden knowledge Sith holocron's contained was the reason he was here.

Wray looked around the room. He needed to be sure that their mission was complete. He was a young Vice-Admiral and there was good reason. While others focused on the center of the room he looked at everything. “Careful now.” He eyed the walls and the sarcophagus suspiciously. “We don’t want to be swept up in victory before the battle is won. Vader needs this before we think we’ve succeeded.” Assuming all is truly clear Wray walks up to inspect the holocron as well. Curious above all.
Technology 5+6 from Int to figure out anything of worth about the holocron or any other tech.

The room was indeed safe - now anyway - and they successfully recovered both Darth Cheras' Lightsaber*, and his Sith Holocron*. The latter, unfortunately, did not activate when lifted via the Force despite Sindor's hopes, although from what he had learned of his training under Vader, an Holocron could be set to activate with countless stimuli, so it wasn't like he had gone through all and every option to try to make it reveal its secrets.
As for the lightsaber, while Wray was not as familiar with its technology than the two Force users were, he could tell that time had taken its toll on it, and that the device was likely no longer functional. That didn't mean it had no value, however, given that the Sith Lord had asked them to recover it anyway. *OOC: Both of which are currently 'Quest Items', so I won't give stats for them. XD Just know you got'em.

Wray approaches with curiosity over the ancient relics but never phasing in his calm exterior. One didn’t need much perception to understand he was fascinated with technology but duty called. “Well that wasn’t quite as difficult as I thought it would be. None of your ghost seem to care much for these relics. Let us rejoin with Lord Vader and complete our mission.” He looked at each of them forming his own silent assessment.
