No, please! We FINALLY have a potentially single Susan Storm, and now you'd just risk messing that up! XD

Ok, so first attempt at forge done. Now the question is, do I try putting a Reed Richards together? Could be done, but my attempt at Susan Storm kind of paints him as a very troubled man heavily hit by the deranging reality dissonance challenge and away from his family, so it's a quite extreme depiction of the worst parts of Reed. It would be hard to reconcile a softer (or outright different) take on that since only Reed going really into extremes would push Susan away I think. I'm not saying it can't be done, I'm just saying that it requires some effort (or a different focus on my side of the pitch, like her falling for someone else like a depowered Namor or something like that).

I think i'll keep looking tbh. I love the idea of Forge, need feed back on how well he'd fit but i'll look at other things too. Might have submit Nathan Summers/Cable, who never got sent off through time, grew up with two semi normal parents. Just see how weird it could be being normal.
Or maybe Dr Donald Blake, who is Thor, just he never found Mjolnir.

I don't know if Thor would be available, though... Andrew said 'Aliens and other non-human beings like Inhumans or Eternals would be on the banned list for this game', and I believe Asgardians would apply even if Thor had a human form thanks to the hammer.

Yea, that's why i'm putting the suggestion out there to see what Andrew thinks. Odin made him human as a way to teach him humility. That technically means he's not an alien, kinda...

Alright. We'll see then. ^_^ Would Cable be less gigantic of a guy as a normal human?

There are SO damn many versions of Nate Summers/Grey that who the hell knows, i was thinking of pitching him as a human teen, cause if he never went time traveling he'd have grown up with Scott Summers and Jean Grey/Summers as parents so probably would still be in his teens. Of course does that mean he is Nate Grey, ala Age Of Appocolypse, or Cable just a younger variation there of, or who thebhell is he? Could be a really fun story to tell.

Hmm. Teenage Cable. That actually does sound pretty cool. Seriously, this game concept is very interesting. It's fun just to think of how characters would have turned out were they just normal humans in a normal world.

Oooh, actually here's a thought. A teenage Cable who is completely aware of who he should be but actually thinks the world is way better off this way so doesn't want to change things.

That's a cool idea, but won't it take away from the cool roleplaying opportunity of playing a 'normal' Marvel character if you make him know everything right from the start?

Wouldn't say he knows everything, just knows who he should be. Cable who is enjoying being a teen, knowing he doesn't have to save the world from Apocolypse. Someone who has completely different motivations for wanting to know what is going on (aka he want to keep the world as it is).

"So my fate is to save the world from Apocalypse, uh? You mean that En Sabah Nur who died five thousand years ago in Egypt?"

Aside from that, do you allow the +1 option Efficient to make some actions less costly to use? (i.e for each 2 stones you spend, you get 1 from the general pool to pay for your action, without of course going over the amount of stones you could normally use in the action.) Not that I need it on my current actions, but asking for the future. I would say no, I'm not too big a fan of the Efficient option generally and I don't think it would be too necessary for this kind of game. Now that you mention the topic of mutants once more...do you consider Cloak, and Dagger as well, as mutants? There are several conflicting sources on this, but I want your official word on the matter. I think this is one of those questions where you could really go either way with it. For what it's worth, I know they weren't originally created as mutant characters (their powers came from the experimental drugs they were forcibly given) and I believe the most recent story to actually address this during their brief association with the X-Men made it clear they don't self-identify as mutants. It probably wouldn't be too relevant for this particular game anyway as they wouldn't have powers, mutant or otherwise! Also got another question. Are we aiming to be a team here? And if so, or even if not so, could some of us know each other from the beginning? ...Like, if we've met professionally or something (for example, Strange being a general physician in addition to a Neurosurgeon, could have treated any of the others for whatever medical problem they might have had before). You wouldn't need to be a team or have any prior relationships before the start of the game (although events will bring you all together pretty quickly once we get started!)

You know considering how long i've wanted to play Forge I'm kinda surprised at how dificult it is to find the right way to write him.
