"Who knows? Doom's tricks are many!" Doctor Octopus replies.

"I admire treachery!" Enchantress muses.

"I say we should bash Captain America and his pal's skulls in!" Thunderball says.

"I'm tired of getting my butt kicked by Captain America and his jerk-squad!" Bulldozer exclaims.

"What happened to the Human Torch?" Piledriver points at the recently cosmically charged member of the Fantastic Four. "Why is he glowing like that?"

"I don't know what to think, Owie!" Volcana says to Molecule Man. "Doom is the one who made me into Volcana which is wonderful--but, gee, he does seem to be unstable!

"But Marsha, you had such faith in him," Molecule Man says to Volcana.

"Now, Owie, I believe in you!"

Molecule Man ignores Captain America's outstretched hand and fuses some air molecules into an ultra-hard shield around himself and Volcana. "I refuse to double-cross Doom." The aircraft they are all on lands atop a steep cliff. "Villains, annihilate them!"

Inside, he felt like the situation had slipped away from them.

The villains stop in their tracks with a look of fear on their faces. This is a bit baffling to Johnny, until Captain America points out Galactus, floating behind them.

The Eater of Worlds teleports them all back to the hero's encampment outside of Doombase. A wary alliance is formed and now the assembled group of both heroes and villains prepare to take down Dr. Doom!
