OOC I haven't ironed out all the kinks but you can dodge all incoming attacks separately which get a team attack bonus to each to reflect the difficulty on moving aside from each blow/shot even if the attackers weren't on a team.Green Arrow runs down the centre of the road waving and shouting at the oncoming cars!He expects shots from behind (OOC they'd also get a blindside bonus) so he zig zags and presents a very mobile target as only he and a couple of others can in this 'hero game'. The lead vehicle stops well short and the door on the passenger side opens. It's about 80-100 feet away right now and far enough away that GA thinks that Nathans Nemesis would not accurately be able to shoot from so far back. A glance over his shoulder reveals they have taken cover behind vehicles and are waiting for the convoy to come closer. Cheshire steps out of the lead vehicle and points at Green Arrow. "Your presence is not wanted, masked man!" she hisses in her accented voice. She Remains behind the cover of the door and Green Arrow guesses the vehicle is armoured. "Move aside or I shall remove you!" The SUV at the rear stops and four armed men get out with high powered rifles and scopes attached! This is going to get messy, FAST! Nathans Nemesis behind him, Cheshire and armed mercenaries in front and Green Arrow caught in the middle! OOC GA can dodge as much as he likes but a lucky (unlucky?) shot could tag him where he stands in the middle of the road with no cover! By the side of the road are several parked cars he can scramble behind. Your call...

Through clenched teeth, Green Arrow says, "I said, TURN BACK!" He then charges toward the closest pair of armed men who exited the rear SUV and clobbers them!
Free Action: Say what he did and look pissed about it.
Move Action: Sprint to the two guys closest to him that exited the rear SUV with rifles.
Dice Action: Clobber two of the gunmen with Martial Arts moves. (Multi-Attack vs. 2 targets)

OOC Just making sure we're on the same page...
When you say 'rear' SUV are you going for Nathans Nemesis behind Green Arrow or the 'rear SUV' in the column of three that just turned up. I assume it's Nathans Nemesis... But didn't want to update and have to retcon stuff if you meant something else...
1) (red SUV) is the four Nathans Nemesis guys
Red Star on the map is Green Arrow
2) Lead SUV which Cheshire just got out of with two other guys all packing heavy duty weapons 3) Sedan containing VIP 4) Four armed men just bailed from this and have scopes on their high powered assault rifles.

4. I was reacting to "The SUV at the rear stops and four armed men get out with high powered rifles and scopes attached! This is going to get messy, FAST!" I assumed I was closer to SUV 2 but I'm still heading to SUV 4.

OOC well that takes me somewhat by surprise. Could have sworn you'd meant 1). Righto. in that case, initiative...
Roll(2d12)+0: 9 Green Arrow 26 +9 (35) Cheshire 26 +8 (34) Green Arrow acts before Cheshire can react/intercept him!Green Arrow sprints past the newly arrived SUV, the Sedan with blacked out windows and gets stuck into the the men getting out of the rear SUV...OOC Green Arrow Dex 9 + 23 (32) vs Dex 4 + 2 (multi Attack) + Roll(2d12)+0: 2,10,+0 Total:12 (18)
+5 EV (to 9) vs RV 4 +2 Multi attack = 3 RAPs damage each and are on 1 Body apiece (Body 1/4)Two of the gunmen stagger as Green Arrow starts punching and kicking, but they are tough enough that they don't go down! Behind the hero the vigilantes of Nathan's Nemesis open fire, unloading with submachine guns! Those in the lead SUV reply with their own and Cheshire? She sprints to tackle Green Arrow from behind! OOC Cheshire attacks with martial arts and claws against Green Arrow...
Dex 8 + four extra dice (martial artist) + GOING FOR CRITICAL BLOW + Roll(6d12)+0: 2,7,9,6,10,10,+0 Total:DOUBLE plus Roll(2d12)+0: 5,1,+0 Total:26 (34) vs Dex 9 + 4 (crit blow) + Roll(2d12)+0: 7,6,+0 Total:13 (26)
+4 EV (to 9, claws) vs RV 5 - 6 (crit blow) = 10RAPs damage!
Green Arrow has two problems now. ONE he is stunned and needs to last ditch defence 6 damage to stay on his feet (with 1 Body remaining) and 2) Her claws are laden with a VERY strong sedative that will attack him next round!Slightly taken by surprise Cheshire springs up after Green Arrow even as the hero slams kicks and punches into two of the tough ex military guys. She slashes with razor sharp claws across his back/shoulder and it's clear that she intends to down the hero! Even so, bullets fly about and even the arch mercenary has to take cover at some of the wild shots flying about! OOC Green Arrow HP 30
Last Ditch Defence...
Initiative (assuming GA is still up)
Roll(2d12)+0: 12 GA (+26=38),9 Cheshire (+26=35)
though stunned Green Arrow can defend (using Acrobatics) as he rolls about and ducks/dives tries to get out of the way, he just can't attack.

OOC Or he can go down and pay for a desperation recovery. Cheshire has not initiated Killing Combat (that requires an extra fee which she has not been paid) so GA might be better off going down on 0 Body and paying 15 HP to try for a recovery check...EDIT: Rushed the previous post so ignore most of the stuff about last ditch defence. Green Arrow can only spend enough HP to absorb up to his RV (5) and has taken too much damage to stay on his feet so will go down! That leaves the desperation recovery option.
I would have automatically applied defensive dice from Acrobatics but you used four extra dice from Martial Artist in the same round and that meant you had no possible dice to use for defence! Hence the one shot that Cheshire inflicted...

I’m hoping desperately recovering will be more helpful in a round when maybe Cheshire is not standing over me. So let’s play out one round and see what happens. Damn these Nemesis guys for coming early! In any case, this gunfight may have fewer casualties than the bigger raid that was planned.

Green Arrow wills himself awake and clings to consciousness...OOC basically a roll vs OV/RV 0 as long as it doesn't fail (3 or less on 2D12) he's back on Body 5...
Body 5 + Roll(2d12)+0: 10,2,+0 Total:12 (17) vs OV 0 + Roll(2d12)+0: 10,7,+0 Total:17 (yowch! that was close!)
+0EV (to 5) vs RV0=5RAPs. Green Arrow is on full Body. Just.
GREEN ARROW HP 15 REMAININGHe knows he's been out for only a few seconds as the sound of gunfire is still deafening all about him. He can hear more noises too though.. the screech of tyres indicating MORE cars turning up and.. something else? "FBI! CIA! FREEZE!" before the shouts were drowned out by automatic gunfire! Green Arrow risks a peek without moving too much. Cheshire is on the blind side of an SUV from where GA is. She, like the others in the convoy, are pinned down by Nathans' Nemesis who have been joined by friends in another SUV. Peering to the entrance of the manor he sees plain clothes types taking cover behind the walls as bullets riddle the place! A glint of gold suggests maybe they ARE FBI?!?! What? What's going on here? He glances about again... OOC Perception... Int 5 + Roll(2d12)+0: 6,9,+0 Total:15 (20) vs OV 4 + Roll(2d12)+0: 6,3,+0 Total:9 (13)
+4 EV (to 12 Will) vs RV 4=8 RAPs success. He sees an orange and dark blue clad figure racing along the wall of the mansion at full tilt without paying too much attention to that fact that a fall from 10' might hurt! He's some distance away but seems to be heading towards the vigilantes of Nathan's Nemesis... This is the Terminator!OOC Ok, the stars are as follows...
RED=Green Arrow. Admittedly green might be more appropriate...He's out in the open but lying prone and not a target... at the moment
BLUE=Terminator, heading quickly to blindside Nathans' Nemesis
YELLOW= People claiming to be FBI and CIA agents, taking fire from Nathans' Nemesis who are packing heavy ordnance
GREEN = Cheshire, taking cover on the blind side of the SUV
The 'SCREECH!' with the arrow indicates the sound of MORE cars approaching, this time to blindside the convoy Cheshire was part of ... What's next???

Green Arrow does not know who's side he's on. Both are in the wrong in using lethal force. His best bet of finding out which side to be on and maybe redirect some of the violence is to get inside Nathan's property. Springing up, Green Arrow dodges bullets while he sprints around the back of SUV #4 and then bounds over the ten foot high wall, hopefully without Cheshire spotting him.
Move Action: Get up and to the wall around back of SUV #4.
Dice Action: Scale the wall using Acrobatics, but using only 2 extra dice for the jump, leaving the other 2 for his Defense.

Green Arrow rolls to his feet, grabs his fallen bow and sprints for the wall, through the gap of parked cars and attacks the ten foot wall even as bullets zing all around him!OOC he gets three wild shots at him - not aimed as such but he's in the line of fire. With his Dex and acrobatics two dice there should be no hits but they get (effectively) a 'team attack' as it gets increasingly harder to dodge the incoming attacks...
First Attack Dex 3 + weaponry one die + Roll(3d12)+0: 6,4,6,+0 Total:12 DOUBLE plus Roll(2d12)+0: 1,5,+0 Total:18 (21) vs GA Dex 9 + team attack mod -2 + range mod +2 + acrobatics two dice + Roll(4d12)+0: 6,2,4,8,+0 Total:14 (23) MISS
Second Attack Dex 3 + weaponry 2 dice + Roll(4d12)+0: 3,11,12,4,+0 Total:23 (26) vs GA Dex 9 + team attack mod -2 + range mod 2 + acrobatics two dice + Roll(4d12)+0: 5,1,3,3,+0 Total:6 DOUBLE plus Roll(2d12)+0: 2,2,+0 Total:4 DOUBLE plus Roll(2d12)+0: 8,1,+0 Total:19 (28) MISS
Third attack Dex 4 + weaponry 2 dice + Roll(4d12)+0: 8,8,2,3,+0 Total:16 DOUBLE plus Roll(2d12)+0: 1,6,+0 Total:23 (27) vs GA Dex 9 + team attack mod -4 + range mod 3 + acrobatics two dice + Roll(4d12)+0: 3,7,2,8,+0 Total:15 (23) HIT
+3 EV (to a .45 automatic EV4=7) vs RV5= 2 damage. GA has 15HP, you can absorb this for a total 3HP if you want to keep him on Body 5/5Green Arrow winces as bullets zing past and around him and leaps for the wall. OOC Dex 9 + acrobatics two dice + Roll(4d12)+0: 3,5,3,1,+0 Total:6 DOUBLE plus Roll(2d12)+0: 7,8,+0 Total:21 (30) vs OV 4 (10' wall. I could climb one and I'm not superhuman) + modifier (getting shot at) 4 + Roll(2d12)+0: 5,1,+0 Total:14
+6 EV (to 15) vs Rv4=11 RAPs. He practically flies over it!The landing is as expert as anyone could muster and he's concealed in the bushes listening to world war III on the other side of the wall. Cheshire was an expert in her field, like him, and would have spotted him - he couldn't take the time to be stealthy about getting the heck out of the way! Looking out of the bushes he sees the 'agents' are calling on walkie talkies and popping out to shoot before leaping back out of the way as bullets riddle the walls around them! At least one of the agents is down and two are injured. Outgunned and with an increasing number of combatants in the field, they would be best advised to stay down! As might Green Arrow. He sees, making little attempt at stealth, the assassin TERMINATOR crouched in the grounds of the garden. The agents haven't seen him but his attention is focused on one thing only... GREEN ARROW!

OOC: Please consider a couple things before we proceed. First, Green Arrow is not going through a gap of parked cars. He is running behind SUV 4 and there is no car parked behind SUV 4. He should be pretty far from the gunfight. Also, my understanding of Team Attack is that it has to be declared, it doesn't automatically happen when multiple attacks go against a single target. With the guns not even aiming for Green Arrow, I would think they would get a penalty, not a bonus to hit.
The above concerns not only whether or not Oliver was shot, but also how far from Slade he is. Green Arrow, having jumped the fence would be pretty far to the right of the bushes and not in the bushes. This puts him about 250 ft away from the blue star (Deathstroke). That is a quarter of a kilometer away. Deathstroke's blue star was only 100 feet to the left of one yellow star. Did he run past the two yellow stars (agents) without being seen?
Could you please post an updated map before my next action?
Thank you!

OOC I applied the 'team attack' as a modifier to represent the sheer volume of bullets flying about. With Dex 9 and the people shooting having relatively low Dex (3-4 at best) chances of a hit are minimal. Green Arrow wouldn't even have to run (with the way Acrobatics works now OR with the previous way which would give an OV17 and a target number of 28 in the rules as written), he could effectively simply stroll across the road, stop to have a chat with some of the combatants and read a newspaper before deciding whether to stroll over and punch someone.
With the modifier I applied (effectively teaming up with each successive possible shot that can hit) I tried to reflect the first shot that could possibly hit him would have a small modifier as he can dodge, the second the same, subsequent shots would get increasingly more difficult to avoid. So whilst the bullets sort of 'teamed up' on Green Arrow in actual fact they just reflect the wild nature of the gunfight with hundreds of rounds whizzing everywhere and I'll not check for every bullet/combatant, just roll for three attacks. GA is the main target for many of the shooters as everyone else is behind a car.
You may notice I also applied a range modifier which reduces the chances to hit as well. GA was struck only because of a lucky roll for the attack, and a low roll for his defence.
Going forward, we can proceed in several ways:
1) Leave as is, take the hit, and I'll update the map. Spoiler: Don't worry about range.
2) You can roll GA's dodge rolls (I did it to resolve the action rather than the to/fro we get in PBP)
3) I'll resolve this with the rules as written in 3rd edition and we'll play rules as written till the adventure's end (which isn't far away). If we were to resolve the adventure 'as written' GA would be practically untouchable and invulnerable. One thing I've noticed about several of the adventures is they are pretty dry as written and not particularly interesting! Also as written Cheshire and Terminator would vanish - the part they play in this adventure was to spice things up. Still, crazier things happen in the comics...
With regards distance...
Terminator had been constantly moving towards the main entrance and the distance would dramatically shorten when he runs at 5APs (100 yards 300'/4 seconds). Green Arrow can run for cover and get a modifier to OV/Possibly RV from the tree/bush cover but the addition of Cheshire and Terminator are to spice the adventure up. Cheshire we know is an enemy and opposed to Green Arrow but Terminator is only watching GA at the moment. No weapon aimed, no call to battle. Cheshire is an enemy... but what of Terminator?
As for the CIA/FBI agents spotting Terminator, heh, unlikely. With the perception rules as written even with modifiers someone with Stealth could be practically invisible. They are being shot at, outgunned, behind cover and are 'in deep' so to speak. No cops, no help, no one coming. GA doesn't know this but the probability of being routinely frisked and searched means these guys are on their own.
That's where we are. We are probably half a dozen posts off finishing the adventure (GA won't have to grind through every opponent on his own) so I'm happy to go with whatever option you choose so we can wrap and say once again you and I managed to start and finish another game on these boards when so many others fall by the wayside for all sorts of reasons.

OOC: I'll have Green Arrow take the hit and shrug it off with 3 Hero Points. We can play that he got hit, because he was still recovering from Cheshire's kick. Normally, he should have no trouble running behind two cars and an SUV to avoid gunfire from the Nathan's Nemesis guys over 100 feet away that were not necessarily aiming at him. I would guess that the guys with Cheshire and she herself were concentrating on Nathan's Nemesis and not even looking to the back of their train of vehicles, much less firing in that direction.
As Green Arrow runs toward the house and garage, does he see if there are any open doors or windows?
