Diggle is watching from the main entrance and calls GA when a pair of lights come down a dockside road towards the guarded compound.
Time passed. Then a call.
"Hey, we got someone coming. I'll get the plate and see what it comes up with. Might be something, might be nothing, but it's late and I'd have thought normal business hours are 9 to 5. Saying that, Shipping IS a 24 hour business... I'll let you know what I come up with."
OOC We're going off piste here. Just to let you know...
Green Arrow wasn't sure if Cameron actually knew about the FBI connection. His UN contact was WAY above the cops pay grade and he'd be blocked at every turn if he dug about too much.
This car though... He zoomed in. Typical bruising V8 Sedan, blacked windows. Lights preventing looking in the front window. Slowing to the front gates. The guards move forwards, a window on the off side slides down. Words are exchanged. The gates swish open and the car roars forward with the gates closing behind. The guards are definitely 'on point' and despite the Pea Shooter .38s in holsters Green Arrow isn't convinced. He looked at the gate house. One of the guards moved in, picked up... an uzi? Checked the clip and tucked it under the desk.
This situation called for patience, but what if something was happening that Green Arrow could prevent by moving in...?

“Thanks, John. I learned these guys are on the FBI watch list. So be extra careful. And sorry, no luck on the late night eats.” When Green Arrow hangs up he turns off the phone and hides it. He then circles around toward Diggle as the Green Arrow.
“And what are you doing here?” Green Arrow asks Diggle in a whisper once he gets the drop on him. “Late night bird watching?”
Olive tries not to startle his friend too much. John Diggle is probably not accustomed to being snuck up upon and addressed by costumed crime fighters.

Diggle hides his annoyance and glances down at the glock he'd pulled and pointed at Green Arrows chest without knowing it.
"Pheeewwwww maaaaannnn..." he gasped and shook his head, putting the gun on the ledge below the steering wheel again. "Don't do that!" he hissed.
"As it happens I'm watching out for my boss on this place he was interested in. What brings a mask out here anyway? Seems a little ... below your pay grade?" says Diggle. He's uneasy but aware that the police work on occasion with Green Arrow. The hood covering the mans face and features in the darkness sets Diggles hackles on edge but he's been around the block and can rein in his instincts.
"Hmmm." he said, turning away from GA to look back in the compound and raising binoculars to his eyes. "Pretty lady. Wonder who she is."
Green Arrow turns and uses his own spy glass to look where Diggle is looking. He catches only a glimpse of the side of the face. A woman with Asian heritage, long dark curly hair to her shoulders and dressed in trenchcoat that covers to her ankles. She speaks with one of the guards and is being led to a warehouse - the one Green Arrow tried to break into.

"What can I say, it's a slow night." Green Arrow says to John Diggle. "But now I'm wondering what a girl like her is doing in a place like this."
The masked vigilante then locates a large branch he can use as a pole-vault to launch himself over the fence, while the guards are distracted by the new arrival.
Free Action: Find a branch to use as a pole-vault. Move Action: Quietly approach the fence away from where the car went and in between searchlights where it is darkest. Dice Action: Use Acrobatics to launch himself over the fence out of sight of the guard towers.

OOC Dex 9 + 24= 33 vs OV 4 + Roll(2d12)+0: 1,5,+0 Total: 10 +7 Ev Dex 9 + 7 (16) - RV 4 = 12 RAPs
With practically superhuman dexterity and a skill that would put the greatest Olympic gymnasts to shame Green Arrow makes light work of the electrified fence.
Moving from the fenced area he crouches and picks his moment to move into the shadow of a warehouse. Keeping his eyes peeled he watched for the guards moving about the compound. Two there, about 75 yards away. Alert, flashlights, hands on holsters. They meant business tonight.
Well, so did Green Arrow.
He could take his time and work his way around the site to the warehouse the woman had entered or he could throw caution to the wind and make his way as quickly and directly as possible to ensure he could get close to find out what was going on...

Oliver sees no reason to be hasty, so he takes the safe route toward the warehouse. This time he has an ally in the field who can honk a horn or fire a gun if anything goes wrong. If Diggle tries to ask Ollie why he didn't pick up his phone later, he thinks he'll just say he ran into an old friend; a female friend.

It takes time, what feels like hours but is probably only minutes, as Green Arrows makes his way from shadow to shadow and finally crouches in the cover of the warehouse he'd attempted to infiltrate yesterday.
Popping his head low around the corner he pulls it back. The door had a guard outside who looked alert. Glocks weren't standard issue for rent a cops. Indeed, they were the 'up and coming gun' after the Austrian manufacturer had successfully trialled the design a few years earlier. Certainly packed more punch than a snub nosed .38.
Green Arrow narrowed his eyes. On the belt of the guard. Flashbangs. Military issue.
He started to get an uneasy feeling. Dare he investigate the warehouse further, perhaps looking for a way in at another door, lie low, get on the roof for a better look or come back when the heat is somewhat reduced? He heard voices speaking inside but can't make out any details.
Looking about, he can't see anyone nearby but has the feeling he's being watched. Paranoia? Probably, but it had saved his skin on more than one occasion!

it's not a crime to have a small army securing your warehouse, but it is damn suspicious. The Green arrow is being a bit suspicious himself, but if someone is watching him, they at least aren't putting him in additional danger as far as he can tell. It's time to put some old detective tricks to good use and see if he can overhear what is going on in the warehouse or figure it out based on other clues.
Movement: Keep quiet in the shadows and away from guards. Dice Action: Detective (Clue Analysis) to get more of a clue as to what is going on here. 1iu5JmHl5d125d12

Not 30, but I'll take the 19. (I'm not feeling lucky enough to take the two 4s and add 8 to a new roll.) Hopefully a 19 is good enough to at least gleam some information.

OOC Int 5 + 19 (24) vs OV8 + Roll(2d12)+0: 12,4,+0 Total: 24 EV Int 5 vs RV 8 = FAIL
It could be anything in there. Green Arrows gut tells him it has something to do with the Drugs near the body of the victim, but without proof...
There seemed little choice but to get in there, get proof of what was going on and get back to Lt Cameron, but the heat was really on and this new person gave him an uneasy feeling.
He heard a distant engine and turned. Still in the darkness he peered between buildings and saw a large truck (OOC lets call it a 7.5 ton truck of medium size rather than a massive Semi Thing dragged by a rig) driving from the far end of the pier area and turning towards this direction. It would be several minutes before it arrived, at it's leisurely pace, but Green Arrow had a nasty feeling that it was headed here AND that it would soon be being loaded with whatever was in one of those warehouses. He suspected it would take several trips by trucks of that size per warehouse, so he may have time yet but it was definitely running out!
Perhaps one of the other warehouses held some answers... or maybe he could tail the truck to see where it went THEN look to see what was inside? Was he scared of whoever was in that... No. Of course not, but he did owe it to Cameron to stay as inside of the law as he could in order to help secure a conviction.
The bad guys, as usual, seemed to hold all the cards...

Oliver decides to look for another way in, besides the guarded door. He figures the alarm system won't be activated because the warehouse is in use. Perhaps the loading dock is open and he can roll under it and inside. As he maneuvers, he tries to shake the feeling that he's being spied on by being extra stealthy.
Move Action: Check the perimeter for another way in and take it if available. Dice Action: Thief (Stealth) for moving around the warehouse without being spotted and for getting in without being spotted if the opportunity presents itself.
