"Cornelius is not alone, and many others will have to meet his fate eventually. Times are changing for our kind, and our existence as predators of the night is no longer sustainable with modern society, superpowered individuals, advanced technology, and so on. We must adapt if we wish to survive, and I have come to believe that cooperation would be the best way to make it happen", she explained.
"A war is inevitable, between those who would agree with me, and those who refuse to see humans as anything else but blood bags on legs. The Camarilla will not survive this, not in its current form. I am trying to save whatever will be left in a more... sustainable fashion... and I believe you are the key to this possibility."

"Alright... What do you need me to do?" He asked.

"Well... it's still a work in progress. I still need to see who I can convince to join my cause, but if you tell me you have my back, that will be a very convincing argument even to other Princes", she said.
"Prince?" Zastin asked.
The other woman from earlier spoke up. "A 'Prince' is the title we give to the vampiric leader of a given city. Lady Miller is the Prince of London, and one of the most ancient, and powerful vampires alive in the world. She is an actual Methuselah, namely a 4th generation vampire, three steps removed from Caine himself."
"Thank you, Tamara. Let's not drown our guests in untold numbers of terms they have never heard. I would be glad to answer any and all of your questions about us as they come, but I would not want to overhwelm you either", Miller said with a nod. "If I have your support, then I will identify our allies and foes in the underworld of vampires in the coming weeks, and we can deal with the opposition as it reveals itself. On your end, anything you can do to ease our eventual alliance with mortals on their side would be most appreciated, as I imagine it will be a bumpy ride. And, well... as Cornelius has made his intentions quite clear, feel free to... have a little chat with him, as well, if you so please. And naturally... if there is something we can do to show our gratitude for any aid you will provide us, we will gladly oblige as long as doing so is within our reach."

He nodded. "Understood. I can set up meetings between your respective groups and your countries of orgin for one. From there we can hopefully set up a meeting with the U.N. and arrange to have international treaties set up." He said.
---------
Meanwhile Travis appeared behind Cornelius. "Don't suppose I can talk you down from your attempt at conquest that easily... Keep in mind I can just erase you from existance entirely." He warned.

"That would be perfect. I will let you know which cities' vampires are ready and willing to cooperate as they are confirmed. Thank you very much for your cooperation, Mr. Howlet. We are looking forward to a successful alliance in the near future."
Cornelius was just about to get in a taxi cab, although Travis recognized the driver as a vampire as well.
"Hmph. Foolish childe. You really think our kind can coexist with humans? That wolves can peacefully share a field with the sheep? ...You truly are young", he said dissmissively. "A god you may be, but it certainly doesn't shield you from poor judgment."

He nodded. "That said... I would like to know what I can expect to get out of this arrangement?" He said. "I mean I assume you wouldn't have brought be over here and asked me to play peacekeeper between two races if you were not prepared to offer some sort of incentive." He said. It was a bluff, he would have tried to help either way. Still it would be nice to know what was in this for him.
------------
"Comparing vampires, and humans to non-sentient animals is a bit unfair I say." He said. "You're not wrong, just because of my powers I won't admit to always being right, or moral... But that won't stop me from fighting for what I believe is just." He said lifting up his hand and preparing for a finger snap. "So I will ask you once, stand down from your ambition, or be reduced to dust under by boots."

Cassandra bit her lower lip slightly nervously. "I... well, like I said earlier, we would be glad to show our gratitude in some way if we can agree on something, although to be honest, I am unsure how we could thank you properly other than from a promise of assistance as needed for the foreseeable future. I mean... you are so wealthy, any monetary or material prize we could offer would be fairly insignificant to you. I personally own a rare artifact which allows a vampire almost complete immunity to most vampire weaknesses, but from what I'm told, you are not suffering from most of them, so..."
She scratched her hair a bit. "...Do you have any suggestion?"
"Hmph. You do not give me much of a choice, childe", the old man hissed, visibly angry, gritting his teeth. "...Fine. I will play along. You have my word."
And then, suddenly, the cab driver smirked, shaking his head lightly, and stated in a somewhat amused tone: "...He's lying. Old Cornelius' word is worth less than the air he had to breathe in to speak it."
"...B-Be silent! Just who do you think you are to speak of an Elder so?!" the old man spat out.
"You see the boy as insignificant because of the purity of your blood. You are an arrogant, condescending, pathetic, worthless leech of a vampire who's reveling his in own self-importance and perceived superiority... so much so that you are unable to recognize how insignificant you, yourself, are to him", the cab driver spoke, smirking.
"I WILL KILL YOU BOTH, YOU-"

He paused. "Tell me would you be any interested in... working off such a debt? I'm always in need of new beauties to roam my mansion." He said.
--------------------
"And with that you have blown your chance." He said snapping his fingers and disintegrating Cornelius on the spot.

"H-Heh?" Miller let out, blushing a little.
"Are... you actually asking the Prince of New York herself to work in your mansion?" a seemingly young, black haired vampire in a black business suit and wearing glasses asked, visibly amused.
"Never thought I'd see the day", the redheaded woman vampire named Tamara said, smirking.
"Working the debt off..." the Prince repeated, thoughtful. "...If... If you think that's what you'd like, I... although it depends. Would I be allowed to perform my duties as a Prince from said mansion? And what would be the nature of the work involved?" she asked.
Travis could feel that the vampire he was facing was impressively resilient... just before said defenses gave up and his body disintegrated as he screamed in pain and rage.
"...And just like that, he's gone. Good show", the cab driver said, smiling. "Say... do you have need of a cab, yourself?" the man asked.

"Oh course... and as for work... It would be... for lack of a better word... Whatever pleases the master." He said siezing her foot, and plucking off her shoe slowly massaging her foot.

"With omnipresense I don't really need one." He said before looking him over. "But then again I doubt you are a normal cab driver if you were willing to stand up to a master vampire that willingly." He said.

(OOC: I'll have to think of what you gain here. I had not decided what Cassandra's stats/powers were yet. In the meantime, you do get a whopping 36 energy.)
The vampiress gasped in surprise as the massage seemed to hit all the right spots... something which should have been impossible as most nerves responsible for pleasure in her body were long dead, and yet, somehow, each and every last one of his touches drove her absolutely wild, just like... no, even more than how sensitive she may have been when she was alive.
Meanwhile, the other vampires watched in utter astonishment and moderate disbelief at the sight of their Prince being reduced essentially to a purring kitten in the hands of the 'mystical vampire' she had seeked the support of. As for Zastin, he was merely smirking at the sight, more amused than anything.
"Good point, friend", the man said, smiling. "...Me? Hahah. I suppose that depends what you consider to be a normal cab driver. I know my way around more than most people, that's certainly true. I keep my eyes open a lot more than most do, too. But I am not a mover and shaker like you are. Gotta leave the world in the capable hands of today's youth at some point, lest us old fools bring it down with us", he said, chuckling.

He smirked and put her leg down his body near glowing from the influx of energy he took in. "How about it? Sound like a good deal?"
----------------------------
"And just how old are we talking here?" He asked. "Old can mean a lot of things to the Undead."

"I... I suppose I could... c-certainly... give it a try", Miller stammered in cute embarrassment.
"Way too damn", the driver said, smiling faintly. "Too old even for me to remember how much. Can you keep a secret, friend?"

Good." He said smiling as he kissed her.

"Depends on the secret, but since you helped me, I think you're good." He said.

"Well... you sure got guts, kid, I'll give you that", a gruff, rough-looking vampire said from a couple of seats away.
"Well, that's settled. We are looking forward to working with you, Mr. Howlet", a distinguished, elegant gentleman with well-groomed beard and short black hair said.
"I didn't do much. Merely spoke my mind, something which I hear you aren't afraid to do either. We need more people like you in this world of lies, half-truths and hidden meanings. I'll stop messing with you", he said, smiling bitterly. "...Honestly, I was... keeping an eye on you. And them. Vampires... the Camarilla included, have historically been monsters as a general rule. Not all of them, sure, and many vampires are still fairly humane, but the vast majority of vampires have proven themselves to be glorified, super-powerful tyrants, monsters or forces of corruption", he explained.
"Cassandra Miller is attempting to do something I never thought I'd witness. Vampires and mortals living in harmony seems to me like some sort of idealistic, unrealistic dream the likes of world peace. Something everyone dreams of, but no one ever truly works towards, so focused they are towards their own damn self-interest.I should know... I used to be just as bad as them, if not worse. But now... with a vampire, an elder at that - who are known and renowned for generally being selfish, arrogant pricks in general - who actually takes the lead in contacting you and actually attempting to make that dream a reality... I am not sure anymore", he said, nodding. "You're doing something good for this world, take my word for it."
He held out his hand. "I'm Caine. Nice to meet you."
