Question... Has anyone tried to run a campaign based on adventures and/or combat inside the Astral Plane?
I won't claim to be familiar with the source material, but from what I have seen in certain Marvel Media it seems a lot more complex beyond... Two people in the real world put stones into telepathy until one keels over.

I haven't, although I have a pretty clear idea of roughly how I would do this, based on - I think? - the first X-Men Legends game, namely a strange, alien 'world' which can be shaped and altered by the strongest minds in it, and in which physical might means very little if anything, while mental and emotional might is essentially everything. High Intelligence/Wisdom/Willpower individuals are capable of affecting the world around them significantly, whereas telepaths are on an entirely different level.
That's my take on it anyway.
