"Nothing wrong with having more than a single elite Stormtroopers troop", Rourke said, smiling. "Well, it seems you have already a good idea of how you plan to perform the investigation part of this mission, but if we are indeed correct and there is actually a rebel outpost on this planet, we should also think of our eventual military offensive. As it stands, we have no report whatsoever revealing the presence of military ships in the sector, so at best, we imagine the rebels might have some starfighters on hand, likely some transports. Most likely ground troops, possible planetary defenses. What are your thoughts?"

"Well Admiral, I know a little about small unit tactics but military campaign planning is firmly your area of expertise. What do you suggest?"
He walked over to a holo imager pulling up a display of the Illarreen system.
"Now, where would I hide a Star Destroyer, if I were me?" He said, thoughtfully and to no one in particular.

"Well I'm gonna head to my ship. You guys just let me know when we are ready to depart." Zorto said slithering to the hanger.

"Actually Zorto this may be the best time to raid the armory,so to speak also it's been awhile since our last meal if you'd care to use the Officers facilities. Commander Rourke, if you would give us a run down on the system, nearby planetoids, asteroid belts and the like, just send your analysis to my personal comms, also let's make sure our maps are up to date." He turns to Sindor. "Well have to coordinate with an Intradictor Class and a few Corvettes I'd rather not pull anymore Star Destroyers into play unless I need to but one a few hours away might not be bad. Captain Nankor do we have any word from the team at the wreckage site?" It would take time to organize ever And get our covers together.

"Wreckage site?" Said Sindor with a grin. "We could use some valuable wreckage as part of our cover."
"I'll certainly take that meal and the chance to restock."
"How fast is your ship at lightspeed Zorto?"

Baran speaks up. "Mayhaps we could requisition an ion cannon? If we can disable the rebels' outpost before they can get a message to civilization, we might be able to hide our presence from the planet. Or perhaps a smaller fleet of stealth fighters would be a better idea?" By this point he's just spitballing here.

"Fast enough to get the job done." Zorto explained. "Besides we can pass for run of the mill freighters, and smugglers if we all cram inside it Mon Calamari's Eleven-style." He said.

(OOC: ***Incidentally, I had completely forgotten about that plot point, since you guys weren't the ones who went, lol.)
Sindor considered his options while consulting the holoprojector. According to the projection, Illareen had three moons, two of which were more than sufficiently large to shield a Star Destroyer from detection, which was likely the best option on the table to do so.
"We have updated our maps as soon as we heard of the mission, sir", Rourke said. "There is no other significant planetoid nor asteriod belt in the system's immediate surroundings nor path. If I may, however, is there truly a need to involve other vessels?" he pointed out. "Lord Vader said he wanted to see your forces in action, and was expecting results soon. Far be it from me to argue on that, but wouldn't requesting outside assistance aside from the Reaper's own forces be both unnecessary, time-consuming and overkill given the remote nature of this base... if it even exists?"
"The wreckage site team has completed their investigation and successfully returned to us. I have personally handled the debriefing myself", Nankor explained a bit nervously. "I seem to have forgotten to mention it. My apologies."***
Rourke then glanced at Baran after his suggestions. "...The former would not be necessary. Our systems are more than capable of scrambling the signals used by the Rebellion. Once we are in range, nothing they send will get past us", he said with confidence.
(OOC: Since you guys are going for lunch before moving on to the action and seem to be more or less decided on a stealth approach using the Belsiac's Shadow and disguises to get some info before following with the actual assault if a base is confirmed then. I'll let you guys wrap it up and then we'll timeskip to the actual mission after the lunch and getting ready and all that.)

"You raise a good point Commander. Perhaps I'm being.. overly cautious. I just don't want to underestimate our enemy nor our lack of knowledge of the situation." He pauses for a moment with his hand on his chin. "Commander make the necessary arrangements to have all well rested Tie pilots on alert. I want them to be able to perform at optimal levels should the need arise. This Star Destroy should be more than enough for any rebel forces that may be occupying the planet. Also let's get the appropriate flight patterns to come in undetected and have the officers check all equipment. Dismissed." He then turned to his 2nd in command as they began to walk away from the others. "Any other interesting developments Captain." He asked with a smile and a raised eyebrow. "I hope YOU have been well in my absence."

"Having additional support on standby might still be wise. I'd hate to have to tell Lord Vader rebels escaped because we were insufficiently prepared. However the advantage of a secret approach is that we should have time to prepare whatever response is necessary." Said Sindor, still pondering.
" One of the moons would be our best option for hiding the Reaper. Putting a probe droid on the surface of the other two will allow us to communicate with the Reaper if we set up narrow beam communication links."
He turned away from the display and headed for the door.
"Anyway it's several days to Illarreen from here and those rebels won't catch themselves."
Reequipping, having a decent meal and then grabbing a comfortable bunk aboard the Belsiac's Shadow was now order of the day.

Baran nodded as the others spoke. Clearly, his first impression had been... unfair. He was in the presence of professionals, and they would behave in a manner befitting their station. "Alright then," he said. "If we have our plan set then, I'll go familiarize myself with our ship." He would eat once that was done.

(OOC: Guys, no need to answer the first part here; read below. When you post, just continue with the part below. If you want to have had some specific preparations made during the down time before arriving in Illarreen, just let me know and as long as it's reasonable given your circumstances, I'll allow it.)
"I will take care of the preparations right away, sir", Rourke said, bowing down lightly, and turning away and leaving the room to do just that.
Meanwhile, Kyla accompanied her commanding officer - the man she admired so much, considering his question as she thought about the latest events.
"Well... of course, being reassigned to Death Squadron has brought upon several changes which I, and the crew, are still dealing with, but I would not say they are bad ones. Being part of such a... nearly mythical fleet, far more active in its duties, is somewhat exciting, if I'm being honest. Certainly different from being assigned to surveillance or simple patrol duties", she said, smirking.
A few hours later, the elite team was seated in Zorto the Hutt's personal transport, a modified class 720 Freighter named the Belsiac's Shadow, reorganized to allow the Hutt free movement within, but still equipped to allow for humanoid guests and relative comfort despite its combat-focused upgrades, still in the hangar of the Reaper as it approached their target location. Zorto's pilot, the beauteous yet surprisingly tough-as-nails Jayden, was awaiting the Reaper's signal in the pilot's seat to confirm that it was in position, hidden by the planet's largest moon, in order to begin their own mission.
Disguised as smugglers, mercenaries and other similar types - or actual smuggler in Jayden's case - they were ready for the infiltration part of this mission, while Commander Rourke and Captain Nankor were putting the finishing touches on the ground assault/possible space combat aspects.
Sure enough, a communication came in within minutes.
"This is the Belsiac's Shadow, I hear ya", Jayden said.
"Belsiac's Shadow, the Reaper has arrived on target location. You are cleared for takeoff. I repeat, you are cleared for takeoff", a male voice said, likely belonging to some minor communications officer only Wray might recognize.
"Roger that. Taking off then", the brunette Chiss said, as she started up all ship systems and activated the Shadow's repulsorlifts to exit the hangar, before kicking up the Ion drives to launch them on a course towards the planet. "We're off. ETA ten minutes." OOC: If you guys want to be part of it, I will start up two small 'Side Stories' threads to allow you guys some RP with each other and a couple of NPCs, while this one will continue with the main story. Wray with Kyla to continue this here interraction, and Baran and Zorto who will hang out with Sindor - an NPC for now - and Jayden, Zorto's Chiss pilot, on the Belsiac's Shadow. See it as a little means to make a bit more XP and fun character development.

Zorto for his part was at least trying to look less conspicuous by going in without his Helmet, and drapping some cloth over his armor to hide his Mando heritage. "Ugh, I feel dirty doing this. I bet Boba Fett never has to cover his armor for a mission." He bemoaned in his native Huttese. "Oh well... Just think of what figurine you're gonna buy with this paycheck." He told himself in an attempt to cheer himself up.

Baran messed around with his mask a little, uncomfortable in the cramped covering but unable to allow his true species to be known. As a Talortai, and a dark-side user besides, he really would stick out like a sore thumb. "Ugh, I hope this mission's done soon. Why mine seems to be the only intelligent species with a beak, I cannot fathom, but it makes wearing your clothes absolutely infuriating."

"Don't worry. As soon as we confirm the existence of a rebel base, we're out of there", Sindor said, himself dressed up as a common thug/hired muscle. "And then we'll move on to something more exciting... full-on military assault."
"You know, boss, just sayin'", Jayden noted as she handled the ship's trjectory, "...but you're a mercenary. Would it be so bad if anyone saw you alongside smugglers as who you actually are? ...It's not like the whole Galaxy knows we're working with the Empire."
