Damn, I rarely get into those hivemind situations! Sorry I guess. I'm sure your character will be awesome anyways.

So. On to idea number two then, less fleshed out... Mastery of Weather it is. Tried to spitball a couple ideas to differentiate the concept from the two big canon holders of the action that come to mind (Thor and Storm) if you want to pursue any of them (or any combination of them). 1) Weather-manipulating robot, semi-inspired by Red Tornado? Possibly derived from one of Professor Thirwell's synthezoids a la The Vision? 2) weather-control power a mutagenic exposure to (Cosmic? Gamma? other?) radiation? 3) alien? alien mutant? alien wizard? 4) armed with a (magical? high-tech?) weather-manipulating artifact, like the Flash villain Weather Wizard? The first codename I thought of is "Brainstorm" although that might be better for a different concept (if you don't use it, I might for his personal archnemesis).

Maybe Flypaper should return.

I think using the 60 point build I may have created a 'legal' broke character. Just to sum up ... Int 6 Bio-computing 9 ... power cosmic 1 w/ability boost *int*
The only balancing act is he's a kid and can only affect non living substances, can't split his focus into attack and defense and, he is of course weaker away from the power cosmic *like alternate dimensions, other multiverses were it doesn't exist* and requires a special regulating device kinda like Havok needed to help him with his powers when he was starting out.
Im thinking making him half eternal half mutant.
still ... 16 dice ... .... ...

Maybe Flypaper should return. As I mentioned in my recruitment post, reworked old Guardians are totally OK, and I'd be happy to have Flypaper back. Of the old buddy act, I'd prefer him to Captain Conduit, but only because I've gotten multiple mutant submissions. I think using the 60 point build I may have created a 'legal' broke character. We used to joke that Dionon could break the game in 40. I think a firm nudging can cause the whole system to pretty much collapse. Joking aside, I want to see this CAD, and I highly support you making a back-up. While AN 1 in Power Cosmic would be incredibly versatile, it should only able to reproduce Difficulty 1 effects even if combined with 9 stones of Biocomputing to beat resistance (I know what the D&R chart says about using the highest AN/MN, but it completely conflicts with the descriptions of difficulty and resistance in the actual book and plain old common sense). Randomly, the concept reminds me a bit of Hyperstorm, which is not necessarily a bad thing.

Sorry... despite being on vacation and away from work, work has been taking up a LOT of my time (yay for being a military IT during these times). With the Asgardian angle taken already, I started down a few other conceptual paths (first Olympian, which then lead to Eternals... which is a jumbled mess of continuity retcons on the wikia, then possibly inhumans or just a byproduct of Celestial tech... bouncing between them until I passed out last night). Maybe somehow created/engineered by the Skyfathers to be a guardian against future Celestial Hosts/Cullings... then I started wondering if Mastery Of Elements might be better than weather for such a theme, or take some inspiration from what little I know of the Stone Age Avengers run and maybe do something inspired off of one of those legacies instead. I’ll try and firm something up concept wise tonight. Might not have a CAD ironed out until Sunday evening though (I travel home this weekend in theory)

1) I 100% understand, especially given the current situation. Hopefully a lot of what you do is done remotely, either way stay safe. Sunday evening works fine, in either event (and in no way rushing anyone else either) I'm guessing I'll still have some CAD's either in workshop or awaiting submissions, so no rush on the timetable.
2) There are worse rabbit holes to go down, I might take a tumble and PM you with some angles based on what I see if that helps.

Dhark: I had a stroke of inspiration that hopefully sends you off in some good directions. By the same virtue, feel free to disregard entirely if it doesn't suit you.

Yeah, these are pretty weird times. This afternoon marks my first whole week in "home arrest" and it feels strange. So yeah, I totally agree on the not rushing things down.

Working for the state of California, in taxes during tax season, means I am deemed "too essential" to be quarantined home while everyone else is currently quarantined. So I am even more busy than a usual tax season. Otherwise I would have put in for this game. GGs everyone. Hope all are safe.

Thanks Ushima, you stay safe too! At least you can have some comfort knowing one Californian is here since he filed his taxes back in January like everyone should. (Admittedly I work retail and was out of work for half the year so I didn't exactly have a lot to report.)

Oh BTW Dhark I don't think you need worry about being to edgy. DK says he is fine with my Handmaiden of Baba Yaga. I get the impression we are headed for a Marvel version of Justice League Dark. This is going to be amazing.

Sweet deal!
DK and I are working a CAD for Raijin... an awesome amalgam of Loki and Thor, which is right up my alley.

Tell me that's mortal kombat inspired and you will have just made my day! He's a bit closer to the mythological Raijin (in being a red-skinned giant) but a Marvel-ized version of the MK Raiden was an initial inspiration.
