Issue 1: A Hero Debut !

Streets of Manhattan Psyon, Amara, Maestro, Raven



Feeling accomplished, Maestro was now pumped up since he stop the armored van from causing anymore damaged to anyone. However things were looking a little grim when whirl wind and the trapster decided to focus their attention on to the Idol hero. Maestro hope he would get some back up but as far he knew he had to take care of this problem himself. Wanting to even the odds, Maestro summon his flight abilities and with great speed, maestro launched himself to attack the Trapster. Clenching his fist and using the momentum to land a Direct punch to the Trapster face. (POWWWW!!!) "You bitch" The trapster say's wiping the blood from his mouth. Maestro notice that as he punched the Trapster he did not feel his body moving at all from the his flying disc. It seemed liked he was stuck on to his flying gravitational disc like glue. "Get Sticky" The trapster says's as he lifted his Paste Gun and sprayed a Stream glue directly at you. The Glue made contact covering your lower body as the trapster was able to manipulate the stream of glue, bringing you down to the concrete ground. Maestro found his lower body pin to the ground as the glue adhesive dries instantly. "You have been traped by the Trapster"

To make matter worse Whirl Wind was spinning directly at Maestro since he was now entangled, courtesy from the trapster. Cuts and slices was tearing into the skin of Maestro and his costume into pieces as Blood was splattering everywhere from Maestro body. "How do you like My whirl Wind Blades" Whirl wind say's taunting at the the helpless hero. Maestro saw the 10 inch diameter saw blades mounted on metal bracelets and driven by two motors as they were rotating constantly. Before whirl Wind was going to deliver the finishing blow Maestro saw that the Villain was brought down to one knee as he gasped in pain. "UGHHHH" Whirl wind says still feeling the pain of the surprised attack. It it looked like Maetsro was now save but how will he get out of the trapster Glue ?

Psyon waited for a opportunity for the tornado villain to let his guard down. Using his Psionic bow and Arrow he unleashed a powerful psionic attack on the unsuspecting villain. Psyon did notice that his arrows was being pushed back by some invisible force but they still struck home not doing as much damaged as they should but still dealing a Heavy blow to the Villain. "Hey whirl wind you okay, it look like you got the wind knock out of you" The trapster say's laughing at the fact he ally was hurt. "Shut up and Focus on killing these bastards" As both of their Attention seem to be now Focused on PSYON!!!


Amara seeing that she up against the villain known as boomerang, she realized how unprepared she actually is. With no weapons and anything to cover her face she had to think of something quick. Beside seeing someone has ripped off her costume idea and maybe using amazon to upgrade her costume, Amara had to focus on the villain in front of her.

"You saw what happened to the van"

"Yeah are you one of those mutant Freaks, There are some people who wiling to pay a good price on a mutant and you look young enough" boomerang say's taking out one of his Boomerang looking to subdue you.

"Now imagine that was your pants that exploded"

"Noooo Not my Boomers... you wold not dare" he say's touching his crotch thinking about his so called boomers being exploded.

"I'd run if I was you unless you want to play the floor is lava"

Boomerang immediately jumped up as Amara saw that his boots were propelling him in the air, as he went inside the nearest window upper building. It looked like the threat worked As Amara decided sink into the ground making her way to the car. She saw her car was flipped upside down and was a total wreck hopefully she has insurance?. Still she wanted to make sure she survived the accident. Strapping the seat belt to make sure she don't fall from being upside down she pretend that she was helpless. She saw her marbles all over the place as they got separated from their bag. However when her phasing was done, she felt a jolting pain all around her body. Amara knew that her power were dangerous but if she were to use it one more time would she be okay ? "Hey are you okay in there" Amara hearing the sound of a man voice calling out to her. "Don't worry I am going to get you out of there " He say's using as much Strength as he possibly can to finally open the car door. "My name is David, don't worry I wont hurt you I'm just here to help" the man say's reaching his hand out to Amara.



Kile Hunter The Raven

For Kile this was his debut as the Crime fighting villain known as the Raven. He reflected his time with moon knight and other relatable situations he experienced to lead up to this day. Kile realized he was ready to be his own man, making his own decisions from now on. Still he had to be focused as he knew that one mistake can have drastic consequences for him and others. Still for Kile it was all about redemption more than anything else for the love one's he has lost. Parking in the alley near by the GREAT Starbucks. kile notice a lot of people was fleeing from the area not wanting to be caught up in the action.Using it the situation to his advantage he was able to quickly changed into his costume as the Raven had finally made his appearance.

Using his grapple gun the raven made his way on to the top of a the nearest building close to the scene on what it looked like to be a fight between super powered hero and villains. He Saw that one costumed person seemed to be trapped in some type of white stuff to the ground. Raven also notice two others villains which he heard of before. These criminals was known as whirlwind and the trapster looking to engage another costumed power person that seem to be holding up some type of energy bow and arrows. The last thing Raven Notice another criminal known as the boomerang man using some type of jetboots to make his way to the third floor building into what it looked like to be a apartment complex. Raven now See the situation at hand, but the question remain is how he going to proceed?

Mephistel: you was able to deal a punching blow to the trapster face but now Your character is now pinned down to the ground by the Trapster Paste Gun And whirl Wind attacked you with his whirl wind blades causing you to lose 2w . Their attention seem to be focused on psyon

Ushima: you was able to deal a heavy blow to Whirlwind but some invisible force that was protecting whirlwind seem to decrease the power of your attack. Now the 2 villains are concentrating on you.

Black Sam: you see that the 2 villains are going straight for the energy bow and arrow guy and you also notice boomerang heading into the apartment building next to you as he seemed to be on the third floor. (side note I should of mention that the scene was not that far away from jerico high school lol my bad)

Gris: you was able to get to you're car unfortunately it is a total wreck and upside down. You are pretending to be helpless/survived the accident with you're marbles scatter everywhere and a man named David is trying to help you

With the cowardly Boomerang wary of what she could do to him, Amara was feeling better about leaving the other vigilante alone so she could protect her identity. The car was totaled, something that would give her some insurance paperwork headaches and complicate commuting, but if presented with it she probably would choose the same path of action all over again. The interior was a mess as well, but it wasn't crushed enough to make her unscathed survival unlikely as she could still fit inside and strap herself. It didn't took her much waiting before some good person turned up to her rescue, so Amara had to act distressed to not seem weird. "Yes! Please, please, help me!" she said, sounding weak and desperate without hopefully going overboard. "Upside down... the safety belt..." she muttered, releasing herself and flopping on the car roof. Between the brief bout of action she had and the awkward position both her hair and clothes looked disheveled, so she thought she should look the part properly.

"A-Amara..." she weakly introduced herself, as she struggled to grasp the helping hand before crawling out of her car, curious to see who was her gentle savior.

Judging his height, the local wind, and his angle of descent, Kile quickly came to the conclusion that he'd save a lot of time – and potentially lives – by simply crossing the street openly rather than taking time to sneak up on the villain. Without a moment's waste, the Raven leapt from his high perch and spread his cloak wide, casting a long shadow over the criminals on the street below, like a bird of prey over a pack of squabbling vermin.

He pulled in his gliding cloak just as Boomerang began to turn, tucking to spin end-over-end and bringing his momentum down on his opponent in a pinwheeling ax-kick.

The Raven was all ninja, landing in a heroic crouch after delivering the difficult kick and immediately leaping up again to deliver a spinning follow-up, hoping to take the villain by surprise. He was all-focus; there was no danger of bad puns or witty repartee escaping from this vigilante. As fast as Kile was on him, from the corner of his spirit-touched eye he could see the invisible bird swooping in to trip up whatever retaliation Boomerang had planned...

"Yeah, and plenty more where that came from. But unfortunately Whirlwind can't come out to play right now. He's grounded. Psyon said mentally sending Whirlwind headfirst into the ground at extreme force.

"Hopefully he takes his punishment well, but if not he's free to play with the two of us." Psyon said getting high up into the air to avoid any of Trapster's tricks for now.

Maestro

The young idol let out a scream of pain as he feel the blades cut through his armor. He grit his teeth as the pain fill his body. His plan had fail, well...to get caught by a glue gun while being so much faster was really bad. How did that bastard even manage to get him? But that was a story for another time. How would he even explain the blood and the wounds to his bodyguard? That was good question and there was no way he could simply go back to the car now. But for now, he needed to get out of this sticky situation.

Using his speed and his force field to get rid of the glue, then get away for the moment.

Streets of Manhattan Psyon, Raven, Maestro

Psyon was up against whirlwind and The Trapster. Whirl wind was especially not happy being hit from behind by psyon PSI attack. But Psyon was not done with the wind villain yet. Flying up into the Air he used his telekinesis powers to bring whirl wind face to the concrete. Though it look like once again whirl wind was saved by the this invisible wind force that seem to be around his body as it took all the impact from psyon attack. While Psyon was concentrated on whirl Wind. The Trapster saw a opportunity to attack the now air borne hero. Using his gravitational platform he was able to maneuver himself further in the air as well. "Let's see how you like not being able to move your limbs" The trapster says as he shot a another burst of glue from his paste Gun at Psyon. The Attack hit his mark as psyon was not able to dodge it. The glue instantly dried up as psyon was now covered in paste where he could not move his arms at all. "Another hero caught by the trapster. After defeating that web crawler it looks like im on a hot streak" The trapster say's boasting a little bit.

"THAT'S IT EVERYONE GETTING BLOWN AWAY" whirl wind say's angrily as he Started to Spin His body rapidly Creating A Giant Tornado Sucking everyone and everything into it. "What the hell are you doing" The trapster say's not expecting whirl wind to go berserk like that. The Tornado immediately pulled everyone and every thing that was in the vicinity inside it. That was including The trapster, Psyon and Maestro. Speaking of maestro he wonder how was the villain was able to hit him. Maybe he had to either focus his thunderous flight on either offense or defense accordingly. though if he would of focused all in defense he would not would of been able to land a solid blow on the trapster himself. Still maestro was stuck to the ground floor due to the trapster paste gun. Maestro Try to use his force field to either break or push the glue substance off from him but was unsuccessful as the paste was holding Tight. What make matters even worse for the idol Hero is that he was was now in Whirl Wind tornado. Fortunately The trapster glue got him stuck into the ground. However with everything being sucked inside of the tornado including vehicle and any other foreign objects. Maestro would need to think of something fast before he end up being crushed by something.


The Raven leapt from his Perch wanted to cast some sort of fear against the villains to make aware of his presence. Unfortunately he seemed to leap/glide at the wrong time as he was now being inhaled by whirl wind tornado as he was joined by boomerang trying to get uphold of his Jet boots to maintain control. "Whirl what the Fuck mateeeeeee " Boomerang says cursing at his partner. "Some one HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP MEEEEEEEE" everyone notice that another straggler had joined them on the ride it was civilian who happen to be hiding from the fight but now sucked in the tornado as well. Somehow the heroes will need to stop whirl wind from creating anymore danger, save the civilian who happen to be caught in the tornado and Dodge any attack from Boomerang, the Trapster and any Objects other object such as vehicle's that is inside the tornado.


Amara A block away from the fight

Seeing her car as a wreck Amara had to wonder how she was going to commute or deal with the insurance guys. Still she played her part as the weak girl that needed to be saved. She knew that someone was going to save her and that person came right on time. like a knight in shining armor he reached out to amara grabbing her from out of the car. "David Fortner" (see kile raven cad for a picture) " here we go" he says picking you up like a princess. "This girl need medical attention!" he yell's out loudly. "Dont worry everything going to be okay. Thank god there is ambulance right over there" He say's rushing to it and explaining to the medical team how he found you and sitting you down on the stretcher the medical team provided. "I just got back from Jerico high school dropping off one of the students who attend there. They evacuated the school because they heard of super powered heroes were heading this way. Damn they just do not care about anyone or anything" he say's gruelingly. Amara knew that Her sister Lora attend the same school David was at maybe this was a good time to check in. Though before Amara could make that decision it seemed a high wind/ Tornado was approaching them. "I was told that they going to evacuate the whole city block that we were all in danger. But dont worry I will make sure you make it to the hospital. Is there anyone I should call or any family members I have my cell phone you can use." Amara knew that she would either let the other vigilante take care of this or would she continue her acting and pursue something else. This also could be a great excuse to tell Roxxon what took place as well.





OOC:

Ushima, mephistel, Black sam all three of you are caught in Whirl wind Tornado. Trapster, Boomerang and a civlian are inside as well. The trapster seem to maintain control in the tornado while on his gravitational platform, while boomerang is getting his bearings using his jetboots. The civilian is at the mercy of the tornado and it would not be long until something unfortunate happen to him. While in the tornado you need to maintain some type of flight action/movement/balance action in order of not taking a -2 situational modifier. The winds are spinning at 160 mph and it looks like its getting faster. There are objects such as vehicle, lamp post, tables etcs in the the tornado which you could use as leverage but also be careful as it can hit you.

- Ushima your telekinesis attacked failed as whirl wind force field protected him from the impact. The trapster was able to land a hit with his glue gun as your body is now entangled in paste. unless you somehow can get out it is very hard to maneuver in it any movement/psychical action you try take will take a - 2 regardless. Your psi bow is still in your hand but your upper body is covered in paste.

Mephistel - you was unsuccessful getting out of the trapster glue. Also you can either use you're force field as offensive or defense if you want to use the full stone count of your action. If you want to split your force field either say force field 3 split 2 stone into defense and 1 stone into offence. same thing go for any other action. As well when you using force field for offense you will not get the double stones as stated in the rule book.

- somewhat of some good news is that the stone you spent using speed comes back to you and the trapster glue is holding you in play on the ground despite being in the tornado


Black Sam- unfortunately you jumped at the wrong time . you can still keep the stone from ninja but your acrobatics would be spent

Amara had to play the damsel in distress role to hide what she could do, so she gladly accepted the hand of that impromptu savior to continue with her theatrics. What she didn't expect was to get princess carried by a bearded handsome hunk. "I... ah... thanks..." she just managed to mumble at first. It wasn't like she was easily flustered, Amara could carelessly flirt without a hint of a blush, but she was caught off guard by the gesture and the genuine worry in his eyes. "I think I miraculously didn't break anything, but I feel disoriented..." she added to the ambulance commentary. "Jerico... I just dropped my sister there as well..." Amara kept her disoriented act, Lora was smarter than to get into any stupid situations, or at least she hoped she wasn't as reckless as her big sister. If only Lora could see her now in the arms of that stranger, she would heard no end to her boyfriend jokes.

"Oh, my phone... my purse..." Amara finally realized that all her stuff was scattered inside her car, hopefully her phone survived the tumble. She was good with numbers and had a good memory, so she could call most of her contacts from the phone by memory. She did want to help, as the villains didn't seem to be easy to beat, but there was no way she could sneak away from the situation she had dug herself into. "If you'd let me, thanks David..." Amara thanked David, although using the phone as he carried her would be extra weird and didn't help her awkwardness. After getting a quick look at the home screen wallpaper David used in his smartphone, Amara fired a "I'm Amara Giordano, phone of a stranger. Tangled in hero incident in the city. Mostly fine, must get checked. Car is totaled. I'll report ASAP" quick text at her supervisor at Roxxon and then tried to call her sister Lora. She just wanted to play the part of the worried sister and make sure she was fine, not to mention that inform Lora that she had been involved in that mess but she was fine as well, but for all that she had to pick the phone number of a stranger first.

The Raven wrapped his billowing cloak tight to his body as the outer edge of the tornado caught him in its grip. He'd become accustomed to using his opponents' skill against them, but this was a scenario he hadn't prepared for.

Or had he?

Kile's thoughts flashed back to the earliest breakthroughs in his training in the art of ninjutsu. He'd taken classes in other martial art styles before; spent endless hours in a horse-stance in kung-fu; perfected his 360-Defense technique in krav maga; and learned to ground-n-pound like a pro-MMA fighter in the military academy's advanced PE regimen – but ninjutsu taught him to reach inside himself, to harness his ki, to hone his focus and balance sharper than a sword.

So he did now, feeling the violent rhythm of the wind, and he began to steer himself like a missile through the storm. His target was at its center; the villain he had to stop.

"SAVE THE CIVILIANS!" He shouted at Psyon and Maestro as he whipped past them, not knowing if they'd hear or not. As his inward spiral approached the inner wall of the tornado, The Raven fired his
grapple gun into the wind, aiming through the eye-wall against the raging current so that Whirlwind's spinning would wrap him up in quick order, dragging he young hero straight towards him...

He readied his leg to deliver a devastating snap-kick, counting on the added force of his momentum to amplify the blow. It was a twist on a classic Moon Knight move, yet it was also an all-or-nothing gamble; if this didn't work, Kile knew people were going to get hurt.

"Damn it! This sucks..!" He said not making a vacuum pun at all. With the top of his body stickied, he'd have a hard time moving at all. It was bad enough he was stuck in some tornado, but now he was unable to maneuver freely. Psyon honestly could not do anything in the current state he was in. Unfortunate as it is, Psyon wasn't able to save anyone if he's literally tied up.

He still had his psi-bow in his hand, but he wouldn't be able to shoot anything without his arm freed. Taking the bow, he'd flick his wrist so that the bow would tap the glue around him. If the glue was already sticky, it'd be solid enough to be considered one piece. With that in mind, he'd use his telekinesis to rip all the glue off, or as much as he possibly could with one rip. At the very least, he'd need his arms freed up.

"SAVE THE CIVILIANS!"

"Hey if you're riding down that way, smack that windy asshole for me! But watch out for some weird forcefield he's got going on!" Psyon yelled back at that weird bird dude. But as of right now, saving someone isn't an option as he's literally tied up until this glue is off, so he'd have to save himself before he could save anyone else..

"Yeah yeah save the people...I'm not sure if I can even save myself from crap like this.." He said looking around. He was going to probably get hit with something big soon.

The heroes was caught in whirlwind tornado. The majority of the heroes on the scene being entangled by the trapster glue did not help much in this situation. Though the Raven had other plans for the wind costume villain. Remembering his past training with his earliest form/teaching of different martial arts he decided to use this knowledge to his advantage. following the violent rhythm of the wind the Raven made his way to the eye of the storm. The Raven shouted at the other heroes on the scene telling them to save the civilian. Psyon was stuck in a predicament still being entangled in the trapster glue. Psyon wanted to help but he needed to free himself from this glue first. The psionic hero use his bow to touch the hard glue by doing this psyon was now able to use his telekinesis on the hard substance. He Try to break the Glue off but it was more durable than he imagine but he did hear the cracks of the glue breaking. If psyon would put more effort into his telekinesis he would be able to break off the trapster glue. Though he could not help but to encourage the other costume hero that was heading down to the center of the storm and giving him some advice.

The Raven fired his grapple gun directly at the wind using the momentum to traverse through the eye of the storm. Dodging various small objects that was heading toward him. "Not So fast Mate" the Voice came from no other than boomerang as he hurled a couple of his sharp shatterangs at the Raven. Though thanks to the invisible incorporeal trickster directing some of the boomerangs in a different direction and catching one for himself. " Ohhh these things look fun" the corporeal spirit say's that only the raven can hear. With no other obstacle between him and whirl wind The Raven Delivered a devastating Snap Kick to Whirl Wind head almost shattering the villain helmet as he was sent spinning down to the ground. Whirl wind was knocked out cold and immediately the tornado stopped, dropping almost everything down to the ground.

"He just sent windy boy flying, well I guess we split his half of the money" The Trapster say's not being phased that their ally was knocked out cold. "Yeah It time for us to leave this place and im sure these heroes will obliged unless they want something to happen to this poor fellow. Aint that right mate" Boomerang man say's while holding the civilian that was caught in whirlwind tornado . Boomerang had one of his sharp shatterangs close to his neck. "Alright you wannabe new heros you make got lucky against whirl wind but if you don't follow us I promise this guy here will be okay.... as long you two don't try anything else" Boomerang man say's moving his weapon of choice deeper into the civilian neck.



Amara A block away from the fight


Amara was just barely managing herself while david was carrying her to the ambulance. Though she was able to maintain her composure even if at time it felt awkward as her inner feminine vibes was kicking in. Still hearing the school name of Jericho reminded Amara of her sister Lora. Though with her phone and belonging now in a crushed car she would have to borrow the phone from David. " No problem at all" he say's handed her the phone. Amara saw that his picture was of him and his dog that was a husky. There was no other girl on his phone which could be a good sighn for Amara. She sent out a quick text to her Roxxon supervisor to let her know of the current situation and than she dialed her Sister Lora. "OMG you have the worst Luck are you okay do you need me to meet you somewhere ?" Lora say's to Amara obliviously worrying about her big sister. "She must be really worried about you" David say's while hearing lora voice. " Is that a guy in background ??" Lora say's as the Ambulance was driving off with her and David in it.

Amara didn't like wasting the time of an ambulance and the medical professionals, but since she had acted recklessly and already totaled her car instead of getting out of the way, now she had to do what was possible to cover up her superhero antics. Trying to not get flustered by the rescue situation and how cute the dog on the phone was, she focused on updating her work and her sister. The first part was fine, specially when it didn't involve a conversation she didn't want to have, but the second one would be trickier as she couldn't just check on Lora with a text from an unknown phone. A medical examination didn't worry her at all, she went under her own unqualified checks and the very exhaustive and very qualified checks of Roxxon after the accident and they couldn't find anything, so it seemed that as long as she wasn't using her powers she was safe.

"I think so, it was kind of a miracle" Amara answered. "They are taking me to the..." she checked where she was being driven to, so she could answer her sister, filling her on the name of the hospital. "...hospital, but just to make sure, I'm feeling fine. I guess that I have the best of lucks within that worst luck" she said, joking a bit so Lora knew that she was fine and didn't worry too much. "Meet me at the hospital, then we'll sort out things from there" she added. Of course, any thoughts Amara could have about Lora worrying beyond reason were dispelled at the moment David himself appreciated the fact out loud, making her aware that she was with a man.

"Yeah, he dragged me out of the totaled car, whose phone do you think I'm calling you from?" Amara said, sighing. She almost knew what was coming, and if it did it was a sign that Lora had calmed down, but at the same time Amara wanted to avoid the embarrassment. Please don't ask if he's cute, please don't ask if he's cute, please don't ask if he's cute, she repeatedly thought, trying to not look at David too much.

He moved his cloak aside, slowly as to not provoke them, letting the criminals see the line of small boomerangs in his utility belt.

"What do you say? Doesn't look good to run from a challenger – I win and you leave the hostage here. I don't care about the money you stole, just the hostage. I won't follow you."

"..Seriously?" Scott verbally asks himself as he sees he's unable to rip the glue off. Stuff was stronger than he thought.."Fine." He said giving it a better try.

With the glue (hopefully) off, he now had free movement. He went to go secure Whirlwind and made sure he was down for the count. Someone who could affect a whole area with a simple trick was too dangerous to assume to be down. After that was settled, he'd keep his eye on the remaining villains.
