It was a nice, slightly windy yet pleasantly sunny afternoon in Japan, in the Human World, where Ravel was enjoying a nice walk in the park with her friend Asia. As they chatted about one thing and another, the duo couldn't help but notice something a little odd.
Namely, a seeing eye dog wandering around... alone, guiding no one.

Ravel had tradded in her usual dresses, or her school uniform for a pink hoodie, shin-length black slacks, and white tennis shoes without socks. "Huh... That's a bit odd." The blonde noted stopping to observe the dog for a bit.
3 stones in Int to observe the dog.

The fluffy canine kept walking left and right, seemingly confused about where to go or what to do, smelling the ground, and trees, and anything else it came across.
"I wonder what happened to its owner", Asia pondered.

"I'm not sure... Let me feel around a bit." Ravel said trying to seach for clues.
6 in Int to look for clues as to what happened to the owner... or if there even was an owner.

A quick lookaround revealed they were the only ones in the immediate location, though approaching the dog made it somewhat agitated, jumping right and left and yipping as though it was trying to tell them something.
Investigating the dog further revealed he was wearing a medal with the name 'Roscoe' on it, as well as a phone number. As for Roscoe himself, he barked lightly and turned in a circle, either bolting east if they were not holding him, or pulling towards that direction if it they were.
"We... should follow him. Maybe his owner is hurt?" Asia suggested.

Roscoe ran out of the park to a nearby street with the two girls right behind him. The dog paused in the middle of the street, turning around seemingly in confusion, with not a soul in sight... although they could see a pair of tire tracks from a vehicle which left the area in a clear hurry.

"Asia... I think we need to track down a car. Follow me." Ravel said picking up the dog, before manifesting her wings and taking to the air.
1 in strength to pick up the dog.
1 stone in flight to take off following the tire tracks.

"Ruff", the dog said, surprisingly calm despite being picked up by a suddenly flying 'human'. Asia manifested her own wings, taking to the skies as well. The tire tracks merely appeared for about ten yards, but...
"We can track the vehicle with a spell", Asia said, eager to help her friend out. "Leave it to me", she said, chanting the spell in question. "Yeah... I got it. Northeast of here. I think it's about 10 miles from here", she said.

The two flying devils - and their fluffy passenger - flew for several minutes before arriving in sight of what seemed like an old farmhouse with a barn and various old farm buildings, but no fields being worked on, and no animals anywhere in sight. An old, unmarked white van was parked in front of the house.
"Well that looks reassuring and welcoming", Asia said in an unusual display of sarcasm.

Ravel paused and handed the dog to Asia. "Head back towards the woods, and lay low, and out of sight. I'm gonna take a look, if I'm not back in your sight in ten minutes, call Issei, and tell him to get the others over here fast." Ravel said before heading to explore.
6 in Int to scout the area.
4 stones in agl to stay low and hidden.

"Okay... but please be careful", Asia said with concern, as she landed with the dog.
Ravel made her way stealthily on the scene, soon locating some men patrolling around the farmhouse, looking like some thuggish redneck men armed with hunting rifles. At first glance, they were nothing special... but Ravel could see things most people couldn't, namely their auras. These weren't mere men... they were demons in human guise. Their eyes appeared as jet-black to her supernatural senses.

"Yokai..." Ravel smirked. "Then in that case, there's no need to be subtle." She said holding out her hand, and lighting both ablaze.

(OOC: Since your Phoenix Fire has a built-in area attack advantage, and they are both within range for a single blast, I'll count it as a full on 15 stones on both of them.)
As demons, the two were no doubt much stronger than average humans. Likely a lot tougher too, and quite possibly wielding some actual powers clearly beyond the scope of human capabilities. And yet, for all the power they likely had at their disposal... they were nowhere close to the level of a King-rank devil of the noble Phenex clan. Nor where they immune to fire.
All that was left was a charred circle of grave, burnt grass, ashes and smoke. On the down side, her fairly noticeable attack had attracted some attention, as she heard people moving and yelling inside and around the property.
