Here we go again. Speed up to gather enough speed (in next round) to charge at Super Skrull to deliver a punch. So, flying around the battlefield this round and at a height that allows him to deliver a flying punch next round at the best possible speed... |

Starfox flies right into an unseen barrier in the middle of the sky!
"You, Eros of Titan, will be the first to fall before the might of the Super Skrull!"
The Super Skrull then throws a ball of fire at Starfox, striking him in the back! Starfox feels the burn!
On the rooftop the Invisible Woman says. "The Super Skrull can't be stopped. He has all the powers of your world's greatest protectors, the Fantastic Four. See how he combines use of the Invisible Girl's force fields and controls fire like your Human Torch."

Singed and dazed, Starfox flies down feet first towards the Super Skrull... ACTIONS
If he reaches the Skrull in one round, charge attack with whatever speed/column shifts he can muster. if not, keep heading down. If S Skrull is attacking him and using his force field against Starfox, he hopes it creates an opening for one of the others. Mind you, we are like the keystone cops with these rolls and besides, I'm getting used to being knocked out.  |

The Vision's beam is blocked by an invisible force field!
The fiery form of the Super Skrull listens to the Scarlet Witch's words and responds. "This Richards of Earth is nothing compared to the Skrull Empire. Our genius has granted me all his team's abilities, which I will not use to best you all!"
Captain Marvel then flies through the invisible field in light form, but her attack as light does no damage to the flaming Super Skrull.
Starfox then dives at the skrull, feet first, but the Super Skrull deftly flies out of the way. A fiery arm then elongates to wrap around Captain Marvel. Monica feels the heat of the Super Skrull's fiery fall disrupt her energy form! (-20 Health to Captain Marvel) Fortunately, the skrull is unable to take hold of Captain Marvel's energy being.
Below on the rooftop, Captain America stands guard by the Invisible Woman shaped skrull.

VO5ldaIF1-100]] This will be a more difficult hex. (-2CS in addition to the -2CS for previous use.) So a 56 is required. FYI: I found a website with a list of Scarlet Witch's hex affects from the comics at uncannyxmen.net/character-related-topics/hex-planations. This story takes place just after Avengers (1st series) #245. so anything before that would be something she has done before |

"Look, I'm sure you have a good reason for doing what you are doing but trust me when I say we have an even better reason for stopping you and it affects the wellbeing of the Skrulls as well as every other being in all of time and space! Can't we just talk about this, like friends do?" ACTIONS
Mental Tickle. This has been phenomenally useless so far but what the heck, worth a shot. Use Karma to achieve a success.
If I roll a complete garbage White failure result, just burn 10 Karma and don't bother spending the rest to get a success.

The Super Skrull now seems to be amenable to Starfox's request to talk this out. "Alright, friend. Why are you so intent on stopping me from defeating the Fantastic Four?"

OOC Apologies for the delay. Been on nights this week and head all over the place. yesterday I forgot to eat until just before I got to work and been managing about 2-3 hour stints of sleep max with the sun shining outside and kids playing etc.
Finished work at 7am this morning (1300 now) so sort of getting back into a routine. Ish.Starfox smiles and nods to the others. "First, can you tell me what you are doing here? Have you been sent, ordered? What is your goal? A powerful warrior like you should not be sent on errands at the whims of others. It troubles me to think that your superiors view you as some kind of lackey, a resource to be used and thrown away as it suits. Your abilities and powers surely mean you are meant for more than..." he looks about on the rooftop in New York, normally the home for pigeons and the like. "This?" ACTIONS

Captain Marvel has spent the past couple aghast at being burned while in light form, landing and patting the burns and embers off her costume. She wants to give the Super Skrull a full-powered blast of her own in return... but relents so Starfire can use his mental feather or however he "tickles" people's brains.
Are there any water towers nearby?
