Lisbeth for her part did both. Helping pack up in between bites of whatever food was available.

Soon enough, the camp was undone and they were ready to leave and move on. At which point Reeve and his canine companion River returned from a bit of scouting.
"I found an old trail... pretty sure elven made. It goes up into the mountains. I think we might be onto the right path, but we'll have to be careful. Elves are usually quite benevolent..."
Sister Irena, an elf herself, nodded. "But we are very cautious and isolationary."

"What happens if they come after us?" Lis asked.

"They would not kill a group with a fellow elf in their ranks without hearing them out first, but they would likely take us prisoners. However, I doubt there are any elves here", Irena said calmly. "I have not heard of any of my people in this region for over three centuries. I believe those of my kin who lived here either moved elsewhere, or... some calamity befell them."

"Alright. Works for me." She said as she finished packing up.

They quickly got up and picked everything up to continue on the trail Reeve had found.
As they advanced, they came across various remnants of long used up or damaged traps left behind by the elves, long damaged beyond being any significant threat. The old path was a little treacherous at times, clearly overtaken by the local flora here and there... until they came across a turn which was completely destroyed. Likely a landslide from long ago.
A nearby cliff would allow them to reach the upper level, covered in vines. Looks easy enough to climb.

"I'll go out up it." Lis said moving up the vines.

The very moment she attempted to grab the vines... they instantly animated just as so many snakes! Whatever the vegetal creature was, it was clearly hostile and attempting to immobilize her!

She then attempted to rip down all the vines one by one.
12 stones in strength to rip them down again.

Once again, Lisbeth's monstrous strength came in handy, as she easily ripped off the vines holding her, causing an in inhuman screech to come out of the surrounding plant life as it rose and formed up into a 10' tall, wide as a horse is long mass, writhing in anger.
Lisbeth's companions came rushing to her aid, drawing weapons and preparing spells as the plant fiend flailed angrily at them with more of its 'limbs'.

Lis flailed at the 'beast's' 'skull' with her mace.
16 eff in close combat +4 from Mace. 8 shifted to defense the rest to bean the creature down.

The monster let out a sharp cry as it recoiled from the impact, and lost a few more vines from a slash of Yukino's sword. The monster launched a vicious attack of tentacles towards the girls, but Shampoo deflected the worst of it like a raging beast, allowing Agnes and Reeve to get closer and deal some slashes of their own, though they did take some hits in return, especially Reeve who was positively sent flying 12 yards back, landing in some bushes nearby.

Lis countered with an even harder attack on the beast.
repeating stones, but this time with only 5 stones shifted to defense.

This time, it could simply not withstand such an assault any longer. Lisbeth positively squashed it.
"Oof. Nice hit", Yukino said, smiling.

"Yep. That was easy." She said putting down her weapons to rub her hands a bit.
