Hogwart 1890 or Persona Remastered

So, winter is coming and I'll be having more time on my hands and I would like to see if anyone would be happy to join me again in a new adventure! For those who are already in the Legacy of the Black Star game, do not worry, this game will still go on.


Hogwart 1890

You'll be students at Hogwart starting at whichever year you wish to so you can be either a new student on their first year of magic school or even a fift year about to take their O.W.L.S. in order to determine your futur carreer. This story will take place before whatever happened in the books since it is happening about 100 years before the author's story.

Depending on which year you'll be starting as, your stone count will be according to. You can't start higher then a fifth year.

1st year : 10 + 15 (Gain extra Loes after each chapter)
2nd year : 15 + 15 (Can have a special background)
3rd year : 20 + 10 (Can have a special background)
4th year : 25 + 10
5th year : 30 + 10

Special background are innate abilities that give a free advantage (which will later be listed) to player.

This is intended to be a game with multiple season to it as you move forward the years with your character.


Persona Remastered

Set in the modern days, you are a student who will discover their ability to wield a Persona. The setting will be in Japan for the sake of it and your character will be high schooler between 3 to 5 years.

Stone count will be as follow : 35 + 10

This is intended to be a One shot campaign.

I have no personal attachment to any of them specifically, but I like academy type games so I'm in.

I don't think I'll be getting much many more people for this so I'll start working on the Persona with you two in mind

Last time you went REAL detailed with the persona stats and power sets. You definitely don't have to get THAT deep with it for this game, especially if you're low on time. A simple academy game with some powers will be cool too. But hey, if you wanna go nuts, go nuts lol

So we craft the personas as just part of the CADs powers or as a separate form?

I'm still thinking about how I wanna go about it. I don't think it'll be as detailed as last time. I'll let you know once I've decided.

I've thought about it and here what I've been thinking.

Stone count for character is gonna be 10 base + 10 challenges + 5 Fluff.
Stone count for Persona is gonna be 20. Count it has powers that can only be use when your Persona is active.

You are free to decide what kind of Personna you will get (power type and looks) But I will be deciding their Arcana. Fair?

You are new students at the Amatsugiri High, a well renown school for its many facilities and accommodations for students, located in Japan. It boast over 200 different clubs, four campus for the students to stay in, a park, a lake and of course various sport grounds. The school itself is away from the main city, sitting in a lush green forest. One main road leads to its entrance and two buses are always going back and forth for the students who wishes to go to town.

This modern academy is filled with only the cream of the top, from all around the world. To get in that school, one must prove themselves to be a genius of some sort, be it with academics, business, sport or even arts. As this school can only be entered by invitation and the fees are entirely taken care of by the Board of directors. Those who accept the invitations are expected to excels during their stay.

Only the best education is provided to the students and as such the teachers are selected with great care.

You have received an invitation, by name, to become students at Amatsugiri High for the remaining of your High school years. As the letter finds you, it is somewhat strange since you are a pretty normal student with the average scores and maybe a high score here and there. What kind of specialty would have made you stand out to be selected? Or do you even stand out at all? Nontheless, this is an amazing opportunity for you to get ahead in life and in your education. A chance your parents would not let you waste...

Nice. So to clarify, this is not a school that our character would have a chance at usually, or was not previously pursuing before?

It is a school that is by invitation only. You can't apply for it in anyway, you would have needed to stand out in some major academics or other competition or impress someone who know someone who is on the Board. You can choose to go that route if you wish.

Otherwise you can be a very normal student and you would still have gotten an invitation for some reason that may be a mystery to you.

So the Persona is a whole separate character, right? Abilities, Actions etc, just no Challenges.

Thats exactly that. Since the Persona is part of you, it will have the same challenges as you.
