And it will be with this one shot game- that might turn into more. I'm looking for 40 stone +up to about 5 in challenges teenages superheroes, or at least supers-to-be (you could even create a 10 stone and ask me to super them up in game). This one shot will deal with their getting together as a team. Something akin to perhaps the Young Avengers, though of course without Iron Lad or the Avengers connection I'm thinking, but develping a link between players would be good too.

I have a soft-spot for teenage superheroes. Let me see what I can cook up.

How many players are you asking for? and are there any kind of creation rules?

I am calling the "cynical, bad-ass, alt/punk/Goth/pseudo-vintage girl." I'm still deciding what sort of powers that should entail though... After coming up with a CAD, apparently it's a combination of Super-Strength/Toughness/Unstoppable.

Can Rad join? That is if you still like him.

Lol, well four is probably what I'm looking for. Using the normal creation rules (as outlined above) (and i suddenly realised DK, you've used this title for something of yours haven't you? I've plagerised!!!!)
Beastie- I've never seen Rad, so i'd have a hard time saying anything.

Yeah, "The kids are alright" was a subtitle for Gene Nation. However, it's a reference to the Who, so you get credit for plagerizing me plagerizing Pete Townsend. As for Rad, it's a character he came up with for this one-shot I've been running with him: murpg.proboards19.com/index.cgi?board=oneshot&action=display&thread=1162754355Check out the first post specifically. Ask beastieboy more about his background. Personally, I'd like to see him try to make another character (for reasons totally other than the fact that I just built a Strength-based character, and, although I want to avoid what I'm now going to call the "3031 pelting of rotten fruit," I want to see a diverse group of skills.)

Since you like the CAD, I'll post it here, so people see what I've been thinking of doing and planning accordingly:
Name: Nightshade Identity: Julia Winters
Height: 5’1 Weight: 115 lbs. Eye Color: Brown Hair Color: Brown (Dyed Green and Black) Species: Mutant
Abilities: Int: 3 Str: 7 Agi: 3 Spd: 3 Dur: 5
White: 5 Red: 15
Actions: Close Combat 2 (Strength bonus or Weapon Modifier; Hand-to-Hand, Streetfighting) Unstoppable 3 (Speed bonus) Social Skills 2 (Suburban Teenager, Punk culture) Technology/Computers 1 (Intelligence bonus) Writer 1 (Poetry)
Modifiers: Mental Defenses (+1) Healing Factor Toughness (+4) [no AP, no 2x damage] Wealth (0)
Equipment: Black and Green Unstable Molecule Costume: (+1) to Defense
Challenges: Mutant, Human Appearance Teen Angst 2 (“You don’t understand me! Nobody understands me! I hate my life! You’re all stupid!” Plus, some sexual orientation issues [bi-curious and extremely confused about it])
Julia Winters grew up in suburban Connecticut to middle class parents. She found out she was a mutant when she was 11, and since, has become more and more rebellious. Her parents (Jim and Carol Winters) try to keep her in line, it’s hard to control a girl who can lift a school bus and break down walls if she’s upset. She started dying her hair green (then black, then green and block,) listening to music her parents hardly approved of, and creating awkward silences at the dinner table. She’s still trying to forge her identity in a world that hates and fears her, and one she is more than happy to hate back. She often sneaks out of her parents house to go to shows in New York, where she’s gotten into her share of flat-out brawls. She’s 16 now, but she’s yet to ever have any sort of romantic relationships, although she is a fairly attractive girl (but she’ll punch you if she tells you so.) She also knows her way around computers (she’s customized her own blog, and spend a lot of time online, and on her computer, writing poetry.) She wants piercings and tattoos desperately, and cigarettes, and any other trappings of adulthood. She's still trying to figure out just who she is, as a young mutant.

Hmm, I like Teenage Wasteland. The song, and as a game title.

although I want to avoid what I'm now going to call the "3031 pelting of rotten fruit," I want to see a diverse group of skills.) Mmmm, too many teleporters. And they all seem to be soloists too. For this i might even have to come up with some archetypes that potential players want to fill; like the Close Combatant, the Robot/Technical etc./ the ranged/ the scout/ the esoteric etc. just to avoid that.

I think I've got "Close Fighter" pretty much down, with some very minor tech skills (she could give stones to someone more skillful, but she won't be much help unless you need help reconfiguring your myspace, or writing a blog about the jerk who called you a poser at Hot Topic, or whatever.)

Oh sorry guys I got confused. I thought DorkKnight started this thread so i wanted to continue with Rad, I do have another character in mind. I want to make a powerful telepath, but I have a catch, he's dead. If this is too over the top I may have to pass up this one.

Well remembering that we're looking for Teenagers a powerful telepath may be incongruous, especially if dead, however a Telepath with great potential might fit (especially with the stone limit a powerful telepath is difficult to do)
