"Live and let die, right?"
The designate driver remarks at the commentaries of his friends about the guys in the "pooped pants", he remains emotionless and hands Angelica a few bucks.
"Now that you are going to the buy some gum, why won't you bring a cup of coffee and... why not, more gum for me while I make sure everything is OK."
Erik drops the money in her legs if she doesn't grab it and checks out the engine, oil, tires, etc.
"Everything seems OK" - after saying that grabs the gasoline pistol and starts filling the tank.

Josh enters the station. The only thing really out of the ordinary here is the large basket of corn on the counter. There are 2 ears left in basket that could probably hold a dozen, with a hand written sign: Fresh Corn: $1 an Ear. The boy behind the counter is fat and lazy. He doesn't once look away from his Hellblazer: comic to even acknowledge you. The clerk pulls a heavy cinder block out from under the counter. Chained to the cider block is a key. Hellblazer boy points. This pointing is not very clear, but a college student like Josh could easily decipher it as: out back. Josh probably wants to say something right now, but what's the point he needs to release the hounds, so he might as well just leave it alone. Josh picks up the heavy block and storms out almost knocking Rick over as he left. 26Hear comes the money shot. Andrew thinks as he concentrates on his picture. As he clicks a crow lands on the sign and looks at him. CLICK. The shot wasn't necessarily ruined, but it was unexpected. CAW! Coming from the direction the racers went, an old truck begins to turn in. There is a murder of crows following the truck, probably because of the corn in the back. 22Steve notices the truck also and finds the crows weird. Do they follow him everywhere? As the truck pulls in, Whining because it needs a new belt, Steve can get a pretty good look at the man behind the wheel. He is an old guy, bald and sickly looking. He is skinny and has that mean old man look. Yes, these are the first impressions that can be made out at this moment. 26Now I must get to very delicate scripting here. As the movie goes this is how we shall deal with my three front seaters. Rick all of the sudden starts twitching and bouncing in place. He is thinking about something, but Angelica reads him like a book. She opens the door and slides out to let Rick out, quickly leaps out and does a stiff power walk toward the station. "Hey, can you get me some gum?", she calls over to Rick, as he walks past her,"Thanks a bunch!" She sits back down and before she can shut the door, "Now that you are going to the buy some gum, why won't you bring a cup of coffee and... why not, more gum for me while I make sure everything is OK." Erik drops a wad of cash and change into Angelica's lap and steps out to check his car and fill it up. Rick 28iAngelica 26Erick 23Erick smiles. He is glad to see another piece of shit automobile, since that cherry racer sped off. What do you all do?

Josh smiles as he is handed the key to the bathroom. A cinderblock almost seemed like a challenge to him but it wasn't really worth his time. He noticed Rick looked like he was about to explode. He obviously had to go and wasn't going to enjoy following Josh if he took a dump. Luckily for Rick, Josh only needed to pee but he didn't need to know that. Josh smiled as he thought about Rick's imagined perdicament.
"Hey Rick you're gonna love this! You just wait till I'm done! Whoa baby!"
As Josh unlocked the door to the men's room he wasn't suprised by the scene inside. Probably hadn't been cleaned in weeks, a vintage present in the stool left by the last visitor, and a smell to die for (or from).
"On second thought Rick it's all yours! I'm going out back." Josh found a nice bush and proceeded to water the plants.

"Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou," Rick says glad to be able to go first. With Steve rushing him to finish checking out all his residents, Rick hadn't had the chance to go before they all left. He takes the key and locks the door behind him.
I'll spare you the details of what happens inside the bathroom.
Afterwards he goes into the station to buy some Dentine Ice and return the key. (Unless someone else needs it.)

"Did you even hear what I said?", Angelica looked distinctly unimpressed, after finding a bunch of Erik's spare cash dumped in her lap, "I'm not going for gum, Rick's getting me some. God..."
Scooping up the handful of dollars, she slid out of the car. Rick was already long gone, meaning Angelica might actually have to go on a coffee-run herself. She turned up her nose at that idea. Let this jerk get his own damn coffee.
"Here," she said, putting Erik's money on the hood of the car, "You're going inside to pay for the gas anyway, right? Get whatever you want then."
With that said, Angelica took some time to stretch her legs. Now that she was finally out of that piece of crap, she wasn't in a hurry to get back in.

"Yeah, I heard what you said. You said you wanted gum and, if my eyes don't fail me, I think you got legs and can actually walk to get it yourself and also I think you could be kind enough to use the money I gave you to not only buy your gum but also a few stuff I need to keep driving, unless, of course, you want to stay the night in this station like a backpacker would slumped over that sidewalk, and also I think there is enough to pay the gas. Now, if you excuse me I will continue the checkup"
His voice as calm as ever, Erik is just really trying to fool Angelica by continuing the check up of the perfectly fine car, Erik in the past considered himself lazy but this girl is just proving him wrong.

Andrew looks back at the crows, not bothered so much as mildly annoyed and intrigued. I've never seen so many crows before... kinda creepy...
He watches the crows, but turns his attention back to the camera. "Sweet," he says, to nobody in particular.

Despite his music, Steve can't help but be distracted by the newcomere to the station. It's all too strange to him to have seen the ghetto-mobile drive in and out then to have this piece of grade A white trash come on in. The image simply doesn't match up with the music he's listening to at all ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DihpWU4-5E for the music video) and he starts to feel anxious because of this; it reminds him far too much of As I Lay Dying. To combat this anxiety, he steps out of the car and grabs his sax ( www.thomann.de/prodbilder/146777.jpg). I just need to play some... that should calm my nerves.Leaning against the side of the car, leaving the door open, facing away from the truck and the crows, Steve starts to play, letting his anxieties pour through the instrument. ================ HP: 2/2 Energy: 6/6 Action #1: 2 into Saxophone to relieve some stress HP: 2/2 Energy: 4/6

Josh hands Rick the cinder block. "Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou," Rick says. Josh exhales. Once he smelled the stench of the bathroom, Josh immediately held his breath. Now he could breath freely. Suddenly Josh notices all of the missing persons papers stapled, taped, tied and pinned up all over. It was kind of creepy. Josh went around back and found a nice private spot near some bushes. Josh looked toward the horizon and got another look at that tower poking out over the tree-line. At this angle Josh could see two towers. Josh just stares at them. It was a curious looking landmark. Josh unzipped his pants and started to whip out his Johnson when suddenly the bushes in front of him begin to shudder. 26Rick rushes into the bathroom. Luckily Rick has sinus problems that inhibits his olfactory receptors, because it smells like something died in here about 2 years ago. For Rick there is just a slight unpleasant odor. As Rick relieves his bladder he notices the strange graffiti. Pentagrams and devils, many references to a Ravencroft Institute, Sexual reference and a strange poem above the urinal: You bet you had it all When jackals made me crawl Always attacking me Leaving me broken and dissolute But I have the key And I opened it at Ravencroft Institute where I let Satan in to play 666It looks like these words were either written in blood or... 28i"Here," Angelica said, putting Erik's money on the hood of the car, "You're going inside to pay for the gas anyway, right? Get whatever you want then." As Angelica stretches her legs she notices the old man in the old truck. His eyes stare deep at her. It gives her the creeps. The man is bald, old and sickly looking, but he also looks meaner than a junk yard dog and that stare is just unsettling. He licks his lips. Angelica catches a glimpse of something on his bottom lip. It sparkles. The old man is drooling! Now, if you excuse me I will continue the checkup" 26Erick feigns checking his car out. Everything looks good, but he doesn't want Angelica to know that. He first notices the smell. It is a blend of urine, vomit and BO. Next he notices the shadow, someone is practically standing over him. Last he notices the water pooling toward his rear driver's side tire. 25I've never seen so many crows before... kinda creepy... Andrew ponders and almost as if reading his mind the 8 crows gather together in the sky. they fly shortly in unison and as if following some strange trick they fly in a perfect circle, making a black ring in the sky. Then they simply land on a wire across the way, sitting next to each other in a perfect line, staring at Andrew, as if they did it special for him and they wait. It's like they are posing for their picture. 24Suddenly the birds explode in chaotic flutter as Steve begins to play a jazzy interlude on his sax. With your eyes closed and concentration on your music you notice nothing new. 26What do you all do now?

"Whoa! That's a little weird. Anybody there? I didn't mean to scare you."
Josh wasn't quite sure what had happened. Why would the bushes start shuddering like that? Probably a bum sleeping in the bushes behind the gas station. Probably hung over from the night before. Still, better to leave him alone. Besides Josh could hold it a little while longer if he needed to.
He backs up carefully keeping his eyes on the bushes. No reason to turn his back on a guy who lives out behind the gas station.

Erik's eyes wide for a second and skips a beat, he doesn't like people getting behind him like that. The odor was even worse that when he opened his old man's locker full of dirty underwear. He was nervous but he knew that showing fear would just make things worse. He grabbed the most heavy tool of his toolbox (I should have mentioned that I have a toolbox, right?)
"Girl, I told you to go to the store, now move your ass" - even if Erik didn't like Angelica he doesn't want her to be hurt or used as a hostage. Things weren't getting any prettier - "what are you waiting for? For me to carry you?" - Erik sidestepped in direction to Angelica and then turned around to see the man behind him. - "Excuse me, can I help you?" - Erik holds the tool in his right hand and moves it behind his body while opting for a, more open, kick prepared, stance. He prepared his left arm to block any kind of punch or kick while he prepared his right arm for a counter attack or improvised defense against a knife or other kind of weapon.
