Alicia Masters | Alicia is an accomplished, world-renowned, neo-realist sculptress. Due to being blind, she is capable of sensing things other people can't, such as another's heartbeat or general presence. |
Aunt May | May and Ben Parker took full custody of their nephew Peter after his parents were killed in a plane crash. Later on, Ben was killed in a burglary, leaving May and Peter all by themselves, as she continued to raise him as her own son. |
Bernie Rosenthal | Bernie was a college buddy of Steve Roger's neighbors Josh and Mike, and while she was in college a bit of an activist. She graduated, and over time became a professional glass-blower. Steve and Bernie's relationship developed slowly, in part because Steve kept disappearing on her, being called into action as Captain America. While dating Steve, she attends a counter-demonstration led by her ex-husband, who is still an activist with the Jewish Defense League. Things between the Nazis and the anti-Nazi protestors become violent, and Captain America was forced to intervene. Listening to his voice and his words, Bernie came to the inescapable conclusion that Steve Rogers is Captain America. |
Grotto | Turk's best friend, Grotto has always had unsuccessful forays into the New York underworld. |
J. Jonah Jameson | Jameson is an accomplished reporter, editor, and businessman, knowledgeable in virtually every aspect of print publication. He demonstrates surprising fitness, though he is subject to fits of rage, has had multiple heart attacks, and is a chain smoker of cigars. His brusque behavior, capitalistic outlook, and obsession with Spider-Man frequently mislead people into believing him less principled and compassionate than he in fact is. |
Ned Leeds | Ned Leeds is a reporter at the Daily Bugle who only has eyes for Betty Brant. For a time, Betty was romantically linked to both Peter Parker and Ned while she tried to sort out her feelings. Eventually, the smitten Ned proposed marriage. |
Thor | As the son of Odin and Gaea, Thor's strength, endurance and resistance to injury are greater than the vast majority of his superhuman race. He is extremely long-lived (though not completely immune to aging), immune to conventional disease, and highly resistant to injury. His flesh and bones are several times denser than a human's. Thor wields Mjolnir, a hammer forged from uru metal. Mjolnir is virtually unbreakable, and allows Thor to command the powers of the storm, causing rain, thunder and lightning. |
Turk Barrett | Turk has no superhuman abilities, but is a reasonably experienced street fighter. He frequently uses a gun, or a knife, or both. He seems to have an uncanny knack of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. He sees himself as a man of vision, but his view often involves being thrown through the plate glass window at Josie's Bar & Grill. |
