I modified the create action program I made to create entire characters. It contains all of the actions and modifiers found in the original and x-men guides. I apologize for the fact that the level drop down boxes do not work for actions and modifiers, you can just type in the level you wish to purchase it at. I will have it fixed on monday, because my home computer does not have the editable copy of the program. Tell me what you think. www.angelfire.com/comics/gugie6161/files/CreateCharacter.exe

Looks great so far. Can't wait to see what it becomes.

It's great, faster to build a character than with both books.
Just a complaint: the disadvantages are missing, but no problem.

Thanks for the good reviews. If you notice any more things like the disadvantages tell me and i'll try and fix them. If any one is interested in programing and wants to see the code just say so.

volemak: Given that it was writed in VB, you will need to download a copy of the .Net client from Microsoft. It's a free download and was pretty fast on my 56k connection.
Gugie: Would it be possible to get a copy of the source code? I have the other two books and would like to add the information from them into it.

This thread is nearly three years old, and Gugie's account has been pruned, indicating he hasn't been active in a long, long time.

Is the program not working for anyone? If not, I think I'll remove this thread. It seems to just be causing confusion amongst the masses. If someone could find a way to get the program up and running, though, that'd be great.

The program works fine, at least on my computers (all of which have the .Net Framework which might make a difference).
I am guessing that no one else took Gugie up on his offer of the source code. It's a shame as it was a great program, forgiving the lack of options from the other two books.

Its also working for me. No problems at all... Unless i missed something, and thought the problem was a cool feature of the program, and totally need to check up on my sense of reality.
