Here's a "mini-package" of sorts... I thought about just laying it out by itself, but really felt it needed to, at least, include one other Action's functionality. Let me know what you think about this kind of combining...
SURVIVAL SKILLS
Cost = Action Number + 2
Description
This is one's general capacity to survive in the wilderness: building shelter, finding food, etc. You can use this Action to perform any wilderness-related task, particularly those that relate to survival basics.
It includes Hunting/Tracking functionality--you can use this Action to hunt, track, hide, escape, and set or spot traps.
You also get a measure of Medical Healing with this Action; you can use this Action like Medical Healing, at your Action Number or at level 3, whichever is less. (Being an outdoorsman won't make you a brain surgeon.) If you purchased Medical Healing seperately, you may combine up to 3 stones from this Action (or up to your Action Number, if it's less) with your seperate Medical Healing Action if you're in the wilderness.
No specialties are allowed with this Action, and no Ability Bonuses are allowed. Unlike Hunting/Tracking, you cannot purchase this at a discount if you possess enhanced senses, an animal totem, etc. although you can combine any enhanced senses when tracking or spotting traps.
Comments
An Action that's only useful in the wild (the Hunting/Tracking element is specific, and can't be used as Detection/Pursuit,) this can still be a lifesaver in the right environment.
