What makes Wolverine such a terrible fighter?
Its his Durability, he uses maximum amount of energy when he is angry and he does not get tired easily.

Energy should almsot never be spent beyond the amount you can dierectly recover. <snip> Now many are going to disagrewe. They will argue and say I have it all wrong. They will say these are multiple full strength attacks in the comics. They will say that Daredevil goes on and on and never seems to get tired. But it just isn't so. Daredevil has a 6 stone defense spending absolutely nothing. If he uses his acrobatics and his billy club (which he often does) he can spend one stone and have a defense of 11. Thats for ONE stone! Pretty conservative energy use. Yes, that's all true. But let's remember, he's still getting pre-purchased stones. It's not from having bought Durability high... it's from having bought Reflexive Dodge at +4 and a +2 armor (for a total of 9 white stones! Yeeeouch!) Now, if there are folks out there who think the ONLY way to boost their effectiveness is through high Durability or Healing Factors, they need to take another look at the system. Sit mods, weapons and armors, Modifiers, "effortless" Actions, even certain powers (psi-weapon to store stones, etc.) are all equally valid ways of getting extra "oomph"--and they're both more realistic and (usually) safer than just giving every character a high Durability. So while I agree with you that Durability/Intelligence energy isn't really a problem in the game, energy itself, viewed generically, is still good to have--whether the source is Modifiers, Sit Mods, etc. -Wayne
