Era has not been set yet, so I am looking at rules that can cover any of the eras.

Optional Rule for Lightsaber Combat (based on Dueling Blades rules - www.rancorpit.com/download/dueling_blades.pdf): This is for getting a more stylish flavor in the lightsaber combat. Attack and defense allocations are set. When the results are compared, the following could happen. 1 success - Force Back 2 successes – Knock off balance. All actions next round are -2 sit mod 3 successes – Wound as normal 4 or more – Trick Force Back: The blows are so successful that the defender must fall back or retreat, usually to an unfavorable position. The GM and attacker can help figure out where the defender ends up (ie against the wall, toward a chasm.) Knock off Balance – The winner manages to knock the defender off balance. A -2 sit mod is placed on their actions in the next round. Trick – The winner can choose to pull off a stunt, like disarm the defender, or throw their cape over the defender’s head, knocking them to the ground. The winner may also choose any of the lesser success options like wound, Knock off balance or Force back.

Like the rules. I think blasters should be +6 3x ap,this might add some unfairness, but depending on your skill, the weight/length,and the power, lots of sit. mods can be applied

How about Pheromones? Some aliens, such as the Falleen have Pheromones.

How about Pheromones? Some aliens, such as the Falleen have Pheromones. They do indeed. I figure if people who play this type of game want that alien, or any alien that has special racial things would work that out with the GM. But, it would have to be purchased with stones in character creation.

So what kinds of benefits and whatnot are there really going to be if a person is playing a different species? Is it basically just going to work out that you just say "Hey, my dude is a Wookie" and go with whatever stats are there, or will there be certain mins and maxes by species like there were for humans? Afterall, someone could theoretically decide to play an Ewok who's a master pilot and has a strength comparable to Chewbacca's.

I haven't dug into the aliens too far yet, but I think I am planning to base it off the Min/Max for stats that WEG took. So, an Ewok would have a max strength of 3, where a wookie could buy up to 7, for example.
Also, adding things in like Challenge: Primitive - 2 w stones. Which would stop them from taking things like Technology and Specialities in blasters.
Seeing as there are MANY aliens in Star Wars, I just haven't decided to tackle that part yet.

For examples.
Wookie: Stat limits: Int: 1-8 Str: 2-6 Agi: 1-5 Spd: 1-5 Dur: 2-6 Special: Rage: Str increase by 1, but Int limited to 2 stones. Climb Claws: 1, Retract can't use in combat (1w cost). Cannot Speak Basic (1w challenge)

Whitewing, if I was you, I would only focus on the aliens in the Revised core rule book of WotC's d20 system.
That way - you're only focusing on 16 species or so; instead of 200+...

Well, I have about 29 done. I think that is going to be a good enough start. I have stats for them all, so if someone really wants to play one, it can be worked out.

Cannot Speak Basic (1w challenge) As long as humans get comparable bonuses and whatnot. One thing I hate is when all sorts of alien species get not only better stats for the most part but also lots of extras for free.

They don't get them for free. When I post a cost next to it, they have to pay that cost as being part of that species.
I call the Rage part an even, gain str, but lose int, so zero cost.
Claws, if you want to be a wookie, you have to pay 1 w stone to get it.
Also, Wookies come with a 1w stone challenge that will be included in the challenge limit established by the GM. So, if it is 40 stones + 5 in challenges, the 1w challenge for not speaking basic has to be part of the 5.
