OK, first things first. This game is not exactly a sci-fi or fantasy game... it's more an action/adventure with aspects from other genres including crime, roleplay and even simulation.
It starts with a family man named Dave, wife and one step-child, struggling to pay for food and other stuff for his family. The player controls many parts of Dave's life, including getting him ready for work (i.e. showering him, dressing him, feeding him), getting him to work and even helping him with his job. Of course, you can just choose to sit back and watch him do all this himself, but the idea of taking control of his whole life was quite interesting I thought.
Now the story, after a few days of getting to know just how miserable Dave is, takes us into the arms of a local mobster, looking to recruit some trustworthy people into his 'moonlight crew' (people who work illegal duties after a legit day job).
The game evolves into a very interesting concept where Dave begins to enjoy his 'moonlighting' in a way that could be unhealthy for his mind. The player has to help Dave through his struggle to decide on a life of grime or a life of crime, including playing him through some very disturbing and upsetting dreams/nightmares.

How would a player live Dave's life with the GM sitting back? Wouldn't all of this take place in a single panel?

well, considering this is a ROLE PLAYING game, you rsupposed to get into the role anyway and feel how your charecter feels and act how they would in certain situation. I don't really see how this would be that different from any other good game that is played through this system. This dosnt seem much like a new idea for gaming as much as it just seems like another role, sorry maybe im just not getting it
