I just picked this up today (well, the graphic novel) and am VERY impressed with your translations~ all fairly smack on... a few minor tweeaks here and there (likely things that hadn't yet been demonstrated and such). All very cool! Between these ideas and my first glance through the graphic novel, Im deeply considering running a 1605 game... 2 years is plenty of time to recreate the political areana and for various post 1602 plots to start bearing fruit!

1602 was my favorite comic ever. It was the best I'd ever seen written, and I ran a game called 1600 for awhile (a prelude to 1602). Patrel will agree, I believe, that the game was great. If you ever run a 1605, I will be the very first to join the game, I love games set in a more medieval setting. Sphynx

Well i gave it a glance through, and started a more in-depth reading last night... I'll prolly finish reading it this weekend and work on some ideas early this week. I'll post something in Scenerios by Friday with a few ideas and see what kind of interest i can gather!

2nd run of 1602 kinda sucked... The real meat of the original was figuring out who was who, and such... But yeah, that was an awesome pocket universe...

I meant your game, to be honest.
As for the comic run, I kept away from the second run because I'd heard precisely that.

Stretching 2 (6 White) still takes up most of those 10 points. Toughness 4 (4 White) finishes them off.
Can u not get tuffens at a discount becaus u got streaching? or did u do that and not put it?

I loved the 1602 universe … right up until the Spider-Man mini. Normally I love Jeff Parker’s work but he really took away everything that made Gaiman’s initial mini special. He had Osborne kill off Virginia Dare which set in motion a chain of events that not only restored the timeline Cap tried to prevent but also drove Peter Parker into the arms of a red-headed actress named Marion Jane Watsonne. Oh, and “Peter Parquagh” was just a pseudonym Fury came up with so the Queen wouldn’t know her spymaster’s apprentice was Scottish. Yay for needless retcons!
Giving “Osborne” gangrene was all kinds of brilliant though.
