To tomasina and everyone who brought the world Spiderman's Guide to NYC:
I have not seen a post yet to do this, so I would just like to say "Guys, thank you very much!" I picked up all three of the MURPG books a couple of years ago at my local gaming store only to sadly find out the game had already gone out of print! I was horrified and mortified! This wonderful game with its innovative system and character creation already gone!?! But then I searched the web and found hints here and there about fans putting together Spidey's Guide.
And now it is done! I had been downloading each new post as you had been putting them up only to have not checked in a while. I recently checked when the inspiration struck me about MURPG again and found it finished. You guys are the best!
Thank you on behalf of the world!

I definately have to agree. These guys put a whole lot of hard work into making that guide. They had an excellent idea releasing it in pieces for us to read through a little at a time, and finding little flaws that needed fixing, then releasing a final version.
Of course, I probably shouldn't thank them too much, considering I did a little bit of work on the guide myself, but what I contributed was nothing compared to the rest of the team. All I did was some proofreading, and editing the map to include a scale and compass rose. Considering how huge that book is, and the fact that someone else had to write all that text and work it into the pdfs, I actually feel guilty being listed in the credits at all.
Lastly, I'd really like to see another guide project get off the ground. The real challenge I have is not knowing comics very well. While I doubt that problem is common, it proves the importance of teamwork, which I think that has been an obstacle to every MURPG fan project.
