Kathleen knew she should have been more suspicious when Mitch Hassler offered her a free paraglide ride. But there was this roguish charm about the fellow (when he was sober) that she couldn't quite resist. She also knew that she could have made a fuss and stopped things right there when his hands lingered over her body as he fastened the straps... but she wanted to try something new today.
After all, she was scheduled to transfer into the Baywatch Mutant division today. And today symbolized the start of a new job, a new life. Mitch gave her a thumbs up when she was secured and headed to the front of the small speedboat. He started the engine and soon she was being pulled towards the water. The wind picked up against her sail and soon she was rising into the air. Kathleen let the thrill of the moment take her. The wind blowing through her hair, the sun on her face. She was FLYING!
Meanwhile below, Mitch popped a cold beer from the cooler and took a long sip. He hadn't gotten laid for a few days now. The paraglide ride was usually a sure winner. Chicks often got hot and horny after a thrilling ride through the air. That's when he would get to tap that fine ass. He looked up briefly to observe Kathleen. The blonde seemed to be having a good time. Of course the brief moment he took his eye off his course would cost them both... As he returned his attention to his driving he noticed the boat was about to run straight into a deep water surfer. "Crap!", yelled Mitch swerving the steering wheel as hard as he could to avoid crashing into the surfer.
And that's when the tether that kept the paraglider attached to the boat snapped. "OMG!", squealed Kathleen as she became totally at the mercy of the wind. She had no training in using paragliders whatsoever. The strong wind was blowing her back to the beach, straight towards the roof of the lifeguard building. "Errr, where are the brakes on this thing?!" She attempted to maneuver the paraglider by shifting her body weight but to no avail. She was heading towards the earth way too fast. She closed her eyes before impact and prayed...
When Kathleen opened her eyes she discovered that she was firmly wedged into the chimney of the lifeguard building roof. The curvaceous figure she was so proud of was now preventing her from escaping. I knew I should have eaten the FAT FREE yogurt instead of the HALF FAT FREE yogurt today. In a matter of minutes, Mitch was soon on the roof with her. He briskly retrieved his parasail gear, unsnapping her buckles. As he turned to leave, she asked. "Wait, aren't you going to help me out of here?" Mitch shook his head. "Naah, you're in no mood to get me laid now. I'm going to fine another beach bunny to pick up. Cya!!" She cursed Mitch roundly as he turned his tanned backside on her and disappeared. Now what was she going to do?

Kathleen "Siren" Scott
-Riiiight.... that's me, Lucky Girl. I just had to meet the one drunkard-jerk-womanizer-all-in-one-package the very first day I get here. And he looked nice at the beginning, too..... they always do.
Now there she was, in one of her favored bikini (the yellow one) and her sunglasses, bare-footed, on top of the lifeguard building, stuck in a freakin' chimney. "Not in a mood", Mitch had said.... Hell, no, she wasn't! That damned macho-jerk.
-Why is it I'm always stuck with the jerks?! It'd be fun to meet a 'real' nice guy for once... No way I'm calling for help if I can squeeze out of it myself. I'd never hear the end of it if I was discovered stuck in a chimney on my very first day... ohh, Jeezus, I hate that man.
Luckily, she's more agile than most, and she hopes that'll be enough to get her out of that very, very incomfortable and insulting situation. She tries to squeeze her way out as well as she can.
-Come on... come on... Urrgh... I'm not THAT big, for cryin' out loud! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Start H: 2/2 E: 19/19
3 stones into Agility to try to squeeze out of the chimney, cursing Mitch's name mentally as she does it...

Kathleen tries to wiggle her way up the chimney. She's fairly agile so she seems to be making pretty good progress until the brick of the chimney that she had been using to climb up crumbled! She slid back then and lost the progress she had made, having to leverage her feet and back against the sides of the chimney just to avoid falling all the way down to... well whatever happened to be down there.
As Kathleen continues spewing forth a string of curse words, nearly all of them directed at Mitch Hassler she suddenly becomes aware of a little face looking down at her. "Whatchu playing, lady?", asks Pip the towel boy. The kid has a big towel wrapped around his body and another freshly folded one in his hands. "You want a towel?"

Forcing herself to smile, Kathleen tries not to look panicked when she answers:
-I'm playing at looking ridiculous right now... no thanks for the towel, but could you go get someone to take me out of this chimney before I fall all the way down, pretty please?
Wonderful... she was about to die because of a jerk on her very first day. God, tell me it isn't a hint of things to come.
-And I beg of you... hurry! If you come back fast, ice cream or whatever refreshment you want's on me!
Too bad for her pride, her life was more important. Oooooh, Mitch, you better not cross my path again, or I swear I'll staple your lips on a truck's bumper! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Start H: 2/2 E: 19/19

Pip looked at her with that open eyed curiosity that young kids have. "Ice cream and... 5 dollars?" The boy smiled brightly. "Oh, do you want me to show you my power? I'm a junior junior, almost a lifeguard, you know!"

Kathleen nodded quickly:
-Yeah, deal, it's settled... just be quick about it!
Then she looked at him differently, wondering if she heard that right:
-"Your power"? You mean that you... can it get me out of here? If so, yes, I want to see it! If not, I still want to see it, but after I'm out of this chimney.
She holds a bit more if that is even possible and adds:
-I got a few tricks too, I'll show you later. It's a pity that they are of no use in such a situation! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Start H: 2/2 E: 17/19

Pip clapped his little hands happily! Apparently he did not often have such a captive audience to watch his powers at work. He approached Kathleen slowly, his hands held up in the air. Then he stopped to close his eyes and a look of concentration passed over his face. Kathleen soon felt warm air against her face, her hair was blowing gently. Pip opened his eyes. "That's it! Isn't it great? That's why my towels are always the best!"
Kathleen groaned inwardly. Apparently, this boy's power was generating warm air. Certainly one could see how it would be a useful power for a towel boy, but... it was completely useless here. "Uhh, go get help, remember?"
Pip nodded. "Ok!!" His little feet padded away quickly. Pip was gone for quite a few minutes. Meanwhile Kathleen had time to stew over her current predicament. She was about to consider what kind of revenge she would exact on Mitch Hassler when a seagull landed near her. The bird croaked in curiosity at the sight of this strange half human. It looked at her sidelong, hoping for food. When no snack was forthcoming it glared at Kathleen reproachfully with a what are you good for look before winging away.
Just when Kathleen was about to lose hope that any rescue was forthcoming, Pip came back. With relief she noted that there was also an adult lifeguard in an orange swimsuit with him. Yasmeen froze for just an instant when she first sighted Kathleen. That instant didn't last long as she suddenly broke out into laughter. "OMG, OMG Pip! I thought you were shitting me! Ahahaha. This is for real?? OMG, wait right there!!"
Yasmeen disappeared from view. Within minutes she returned with a tall blonde lifeguard, it was CJ, Kathleen's new boss. When CJ saw Kathleen she just put her hand to her face and laughed in disbelief. "Hehehe, oh you were so right Yasmeen. This was something I couldn't miss!" First Yasmeen, then Pip, then CJ started laughing in fits and spurts. Pip at one point was rolling on the floor laughing, his little limbs flailing in the air as his innocent laughter rang forth. Each bout of laughter provoked a new round of laughs. CJ was gasping for breath before she managed to speak again. "Oh my god, this is *snort* terrible. You poor *gasp* dear!", said the head lifeguard as sympathetically as she could in between fits of giggles. "Yasmeen, be a dear and *giggle* pull her out."
Yasmeen was smiling broadly as she approached to pull Kathleen out, but she mostly managed to suppress her giggles by now. Just then the loud squeal of tires was heard, followed by a loud *THUMP* noise. Kathleen heard a panicked voice exclaim, "Oh my god, are you hurt??!" Yasmeen gingerly pulled Kathleen out of the chimney as Pip and CJ went to the edge of the roof to investigate the incident. "Oh dear, it looks like the new recruit just ran over Bubble Boy." said CJ in consternation. Kathleen was glad to have escaped the spotlight for the moment, but she doubted if anybody would ever let her live down today's humiliation. Her face was still burning brightly in embarrassment. Damn you Mitch! she thought silently as she also peered over the rooftop. There was a Ferrari and a redhead getting out. She could see a boy lying face down on the ground motionless. Well, that doesn't look good. I hope every day isn't going to end up like this.

Bubble boy bounced off the hood of the car and into a wall; he bounced off the wall and landed face down on the pavement infront of the car a lay there fore a moment momentarily stunned before bouncing up onto his feet. "No worries; no harm, no foul." He said. "My fault for runnin' on the road." 'What was I runnin' for anyway? Ohh ya, Lifegaurd meeting.' He bounces up and down a couple of times building up some momrntum before bouncing off towards the meeting forgetting all about being hit by the car.

"OK... you've told him about Kyle, and this dude hasn't run a mile... that's got to be a good sign. Damn, he's got great abs... FOCUS, Brianna!"
The curvaceous mutant lifeguard smiled sweetly at her new friend, and brushed some of her long brown hair away from her beautiful face.
"No... there's no diapers," she laughed, "He's, uh... a little older than that."
Brianna wanted to be a positive role-model for her son... and sneaking a guy like Chris out of her room in the early hours of the morning was NOT the way to go about that. Even if he did have the nicest smile she had ever seen, and a set of abs you could grate cheese on...
"Uh, listen... I'm supposed to be somewhere. So, uh..."
She wanted to leave, and head for her lifeguard meeting. But that smile! Those eyes! That freakin' H-O-T bod! Brianna couldn't resist!
"I think I've got a little time, though. If you felt like finding a private spot to... y'know... talk and stuff..."
Brianna smiled a flirtatious smile, content in the knowledge that what Kyle didn't know wouldn't hurt him.

"I think I've got a little time, though. If you felt like finding a private spot to... y'know... talk and stuff...", said Brianna with a friendly smile. Chris fist pumped emphatically. Mr. Coffee scores again!! "Damn I'm smooth!" "Excuse me?", Brianna asked curiously. Chris cleared his throat. Did I say that out loud? I gotta stop doing that. "Uhh, I mean I know the perfect place to go. You know Belmont Park right? Well they got this haunted house there. We can be all alone..." Of course Brianna knew about Belmont Park and its famous roller coaster. It was one of the most prominent attractions on Mission Beach. She had never actually set foot in the haunted house before though. She would never admit it to anyone, but she was actually easily scared and she refused to watch horror movies. Perhaps watching Pyscho at the tender age of 6 was not a good idea. Can't even stand the sight of fake blood now. Nevertheless the chance for privacy sounded good so she followed Chris. In a matter of minutes they had arrived at Belmont Park. Chris led the way through the amusement park and soon they were in front of the Haunted House. "The sign says it's closed.", said Brianna. Chris grinned. "I know, that's why it's gonna be all private like. Come on just ignore the rope. We can be all alone in here. I even know where we can find the staff lounge. That's where they hang out when they're not scaring people. They got a big ass sofa in there and some vending machines." Speaking of ass, I'm about to tap some! And it's a hell of a lot cheaper than a motel room. Chris thought to himself. With some trepidation, Brianna followed behind Chris and scooted under the rope. It was dark inside the Haunted House but thankfully the scary sound effects and visuals were not on right now. Chris took Brianna's hand and led her to the side to a door that couldn't be easily seen unless one knew it was there. They entered the staff lounge. It was just as Chris promised. The sofa was a burgundy red and looked plush and inviting. The two of them took a seat and resumed 'friendly activities' and things looked to be getting hotter when... Brianna froze. "Uh, Chris, there's a monkey!" The monkey was observing them on the sofa intently. Clearly Chris wasn't going to get his freak on with this monkey in the way. What was he to do? Brianna on the other hand seemed fascinated by the little creature, it was so cute and fluffy!

The monkey seemed to take exception at Chris moving in on its object of attention. It leaped to the attack, biting Chris on the neck! Chris felt the little bugger's fangs dig into his skin. "WTF!", he tried to shoo away the monkey. The furry primate screamed in defiance, although staying out of his reach. And then Chris started not feeling so well. He collapsed on the couch and started foaming at the mouth. "OMG, OMG... what do I do?", gasped Brianna. She was shocked and just a little bit panicked. But deep inside she knew that she had to be calm. Now was the time to use her training to save a life!! [OOC: Chris, as mentioned above, you are currently foaming at the mouth. Your body has been weakened and for now you cannot expend more than 1 stone in any single action. Brianna, using the appropriate skill or knowledge could be helpful here. If you had been given a chance you could have explained to Chris that monkeys are highly territorial animals and can act aggressively if they feel threatened or they think someone is threatening someone they like. But anyhows too late for that, on to the action!]

Kathleen "Siren" Scott
-Thanks.... Yasmeen. I'd have appreciated a little tiny bit of discretion, but thanks for not bringing some camera along.... jeez.
Back on the roof of the building, Kate was slowly getting over the fear of dying, and was also slowly recovering from being laughed at by who were apparently her bosses. That hell-spawned Mitch had not heard the last of her, that was for sure! She approached the edge of the roof, cursing Mitch Hassler's name one last time... for that day. But at least, now that the fright of death was gone, her humorous personality got back at the wheel when she saw the kid stand up unscathed.
-Whoa, that's "Bubble Boy"? He's just as bouncy as his name sounds. Hum, girls, thanks for saving me from making a mess at the bottom of your chimney, as to why I got stuck here can be resumed in four words: that-bastard-Mitch-Hassler. Glad to meet you, all of you three (she looks at Pip with a quick smile), sorry for the quite missed entrance... I'm Kathleen Scott, one of the new recruits... who managed to become the laughingstock of any and each of my superiors even before the scheduled meeting happened, you gotta give me bonus points for the fun factor.
She wiped some dust from her legs; that chimney needed to be washed someday.
