That is an epic pic!
Site notes aside you're the only andyman I know, but epic
I'm not very active on the board, but I'm going on hiatus indefinitely. It seems like a good time to, because I don't have any active games I'm playing or GM'ng in. Plus I'm always busy with work or martial arts training. Have fun rp'n guys. Some day maybe I'll make it to Dragon Con. I'm don't have any off days scheduled off until december though

I'll be in Ottawa for the next four days, visiting museums and stuff with my parents. ^_^ Apparently (and hopefully) they'll have Wi-fi at the hotel, so I should be able to be around a bit, but at specific times (usually the evening) and lessened posting frequency.
When I come back, though, I'm still on vacation for a week, most of it which I'll spend comfortably at home, posting. XD

I'm finally back from an extended vacation/long internet drout. I wound up moving some vacation time up while my internet was being fixed (literally fixing the cable that runs to my house, twice, because they messed it up the first time), and I'm back now. I have a lot of catching up to do, so GMs please bear with me. But hi! I MISSED YOOUUU

Finally (!) completed my 12 weeks notice period and am unofficially out of work (2 weeks paid leave) before I start my new job. Of course, they extracted a pound of flesh (60 hours) from my final week...
Away from Thursday 7th August for a week in Spain. Been looking for internet access/dongle to use over there but it looks like a tangled nightmare of bad service and expense, so might need to track down a coffee shop and hope it's free wifi from them so I can get online.
My potential absence mostly affects Andyman, so will PM in case he doesn't see this.

Welcome to my country, hope you enjoy the climate, food, people and history and overlook the negative parts. And yeah, if you aren't on a hotel, searching an establishment were you can enjoy a reliable wifi with a drink is probably your best bet, although it could change wildly depending on what part of the country you end. Libraries should also have a reliable way to connect, too.

I like Spain. Clean, tidy, friendly people, most speak English (where I go anyway) and it's a place I would live if I didn't have to work for a living Hills overlooking Benidorm and the bay spring to mind Seen some bad reviews about Movistar (02 over here) and using my existing phone contract is a no-no with huge roaming costs. Hope the weather is nice over there (staying in Benalmadena near Malaga). Holiday mostly about the kids - I expect to be on permanent 'play with me daddy/drink/ice cream/toy/go in the pool again' duty. Hardly relaxing...

Well, in general terms, the Internet connection here sucks. Just that, plain and simple. There are nowhere near any kind of European standard, but for simple, low-bandwith tasks, most of them should do.
That said, the only thing about the weather that you should worry about in that area is that it could be too hot sometimes, but in general terms is way, way nicer than were I live (far north, Basque Country, amazing food, hostile weather).

Hey guys; just letting everyone know that I might restore my home's broadband in about a week or so. Sorry for my absence.
