I can navigate a pitch-black room at night just as well as I could navigate the same room in daylight... which means I'll still stub my go***mn small toe on the leg of a chair while doing so and then let out some choice words to inform the powers that be of my sheer hatred of chair legs and small toes. |

So, some sad news: I had to say goodbye to my dog today. I had her for 11 years; she would have turned 17 on the 23rd (but close enough, right?). That's a ripe old age for a little dog, and she lived a really great life (she was a champion show dog, had three litters of puppies, and has literally hundreds of descendents around the world now). It's me that I'm worried about. She was my constant companion for so long that I'm not sure I remember how to be just me anymore. I guess I will have to learn.
Anyway, sorry to be a downer. I'm probably not going to be exactly myself for a while, but posting will probably be good for me. I'll try to keep up, but if I fall behind a bit, you know why.

Thanks, you guys. Yeah, she was very much like a child to me. It's not going to be easy. It's times like this that I'm very happy to have this place, and this community, though. You're all very supportive, and you're damn fine roleplayers. ^__^ Great to have friends to have fun with in hard times.
