I'll be on vacation from the 27th to the 3rd, and completely without internet access, but I'll be back and updating like a fool on the 3rd (or, failing that, the 4th.)

I will be MUCH LESS ACTIVE on ALL MY THREADS, campaigns, what have you. Sorry, but I just have a ton of job commitments and otherwise. When things slow down again (next summer?) I will be more active. If GMs need to dump my characters to keep their campaigns going, please do so.
I apologize. Just too busy and stressed.

posts will be slightly more sporadic, and possibly badly spelled (all posts coming live from the pub now), but i should be able to update once every day at least. probably.

Fellow warriors:
The responsibilities of my new position, coupled with the usual concerns, irons in the fire and such (not to mention real life and having a family), have forced me to prioritize my myriad interests, hobbies and pet projects. I have therefore decided I cannot and will not be posting on the boards regularly for some time. I apologize to all GMs, players, friends, Romans, countrymen (and you "furriners," too). I have too many "brain activities" going at the moment, and it really does look like it will be that way all year long.
The games are run are suspended, then, pending others picking them up. Characters in games I am running can be summarily executed (and, hopefully, later enter Stovakor). I may pop in from time to time and visit, but the way things look long range, I cannot be a regular again until possibly next summer).
Thanks to everyone who made (and makes) this place invigorating, interesting and fun. A special thanks to GMs and players such as Sphynx, meetgrinder, Psylocke, Manticore, Shigoki and Brainstem##### (I forget the #'s man), and anyone else I've gamed with, argued with, shared information with, or just had a few laughs. Sorry to leave you all hanging like this, but I just can't make it work in a manner that I will be satisfied with. I need to clear the mechanism mentally.
Thanks again. I'll drop in from time to time. See you...out there! (yeah, I have a "Q" complex).

P.S. Art in Ennis' "Ghost Rider #1" was great, wasn't it? Especially that cover.

Just an FYI, I'm on vacation this week, and whereas I thought that meant double my postings, last week showed (it's a 2 week vacation) that it halves it instead. Apparently the wife doesn't feel sitting at home on a PC is a vacation, and keeps insisting on going out with me. Yesterday she showed me a new invention at this place she calls "the beach", it's a bright yellow thing that hangs in the sky and the only fathonable usage for it appears to be to make yous skin hurt like a female-dog, as it turns it to dark shades of red. She calls it a 'sun', but I'm thinking it shoulda been named the 'skin microwaver', sadly, nobody asked me when they named it. Anyways, they screwed up the water when they filled it in, it was all salty and nasty tasting, I highly recommend that should you have a woman ask you to go to the beach with her, you just tell her no with a firm voice. Computers are your friends.

Going out of state for a few days for a very very good reason, and I'll probably be back the 30th. I know that isnt very long, but the Heirs to the Atom thread is moving pretty fast, so just wanted to give a heads up for dorkknight and the rest.

Hope all goes well with RL issues. Cheers Paul

I've just been told I'm going on holiday for 7 days, starting on Saturday. Apologies to all other GMs and to people involved in the Dark Future and Waywood campaigns. I promise I'll continue them when I get back.

Apologies to everyone in the games I play/run - last week was a 60+ work week o hell, but next week should be easier, fingers crossed. I still intend to catch up on all posts by the end of the weekend, but if I'm away for a day or three, don't consider me 'gone' simply that I can't get near a computer when I'm stuck driving a train dumping coal in a power station! I sound like a stuck record I know, but feel it's important to let people know rather than keep them wondering...
Thanks for your patience!
Cheers
Paul
