You know, normally I am a very patient person, but knowing I could be getting killed as I type makes me very anxious to start the next day.

So how many of the dead have actually been identified as Mafia?

None, as SuperBro remains silent, and they refuse to confess.

The sun rises... for the last time.
Multiple deaths occurred again in the night. The most striking was that of hero2490, who was brutally maimed in his sleep. Indeed, hero was left with multiple stab wounds through the chest as well as his tongue beside his head most clearly not attached to the rest of his body. Left on the body is a note reading "Justice is Served."
And that was a true statement, for justice was served that night, but not in the way the killers of hero had hoped. As Mister Sinister left the scene of the crime, a bullet shot through his head, dropping him in a second. Sinister's killer left a simple note on the body (OOC: Seems to be a popular trend!) reading "For the TOWNIES you guilty mafia SCUM!" If that wasn't enough, as Roc left from the other side of hero's flat, he met a similar fate as his partner. A bullet through the chest was all it took to eliminate the final threat to the town's livelihood.
And so, the town was freed from the bloodbath. The good guys won this time around, butwho knows what more could come to be in the days to come?
=====
Town wins!!! Here are the roles and what they could do!
Mafia!: WildKnight, Roc, and Mister Sinister The Mafia consisted of three posters that, every night phase, could vote to kill off one townie. The catch, of course, is that the three of them had to come to a unanimous decision about who to kill. Without the full commitment of all three, the kill would simply not happen. The mafia won when all other players were dead.
Serial Killers!: Chuck and Nigromante The Serial Killers worked as a pair, alternating kills every night, with one taking even nights and one taking odd nights. In order for the Serial Killers to win, everybody else had to be killed, regardless of town alignment.
Vigilantes!: Toast and McFly The Vigilantes were a pair that didn't know the other even existed. They had little power more than the townies with the exception that they were each given three kills that they could perform during the night phase, with one kill occurring each night. The Vigilantes won if the town won.
Detective!: Rinjo The detective had the ability to investigate one player every night. After sending me the player's name, I would tell the detective whether or not the player was aligned with the town, but not what the player's role in the game was. The detective won if the town won.
Healer!: Presto The healer had the ability to protect one person every night, including himself once. In addition to this power, the Healer could perform up to three revivals on dead players, although the Healer has no way of knowing whether or not he's healing a townie or something else entirely.
Townies!: Everyone Else! The townies had the least power but the highest numbers compared to the rest of the factions. They could vote during the day to lynch, but had to make sure they tried to keep the rest of the town alive.
So congrats to the townies, vigilantes, healer, and detective! You win!

the mafia killed you, given that they were both leaving your house at the time. good job everyone.
next time let's play Assassin in the Palace
There is one King, one Assassin, and the remainder of the players are Guards who are all told the identity of the King.
The Assassin has one kill that they can use at any time during the game, typically after being lynched. Their goal is to identify the King so that they can use this kill against him. If the Assassin successfully kills the King, then they win, otherwise the King and Guards win. The Assassin doesn't need to survive to win.

I like that idea. I knew it was the mafia who killed me, I just wondered why they decided to kill me.
