Pfft... banning words IMO is no better than unnecessary and excessive censorship. If the people use them, that's because they like to use'em. You do not close an highway because many people use it often, heh? (Okay... that's completely unrelated. ;D) No university, no matter its importance, wealth and power will ever change the words I use or don't use. So they can ban all the dictionnary if they want, I'll still speak english.

I think you're missing the point. Its not censorship. Its done as a joke. They ban words that get overused in pop culture, like "dude" and "bro" (two words I use incessantly).
For instance, this year they banned "carbon footprint"... and I'd die of shock if I'm the only one who is sick and tired of that particular media buzzword.

Ah. I see. Yeah, if it's a joke, I totally missed it. It's because a friend of mine once read me that paper that was about some important group that banned the use of "X" and "Y", I don't remember the details, and I had pretty much the same reaction I had a few minutes ago. lol.

Trust me... Lake Superior State is nowhere near important enough to ban anything ;D
Good hockey school though... an (ex) girlfriend of mine went there.

Got'cha. So, I can sleep easy, free of righteous fury due to the undue banishment of my precious vocabulary. That's good to know. The only one who has any right of banishing any word is Chuck Norris. ^_^

I elect to ban the phrase, "red-states and blue-states."
And I want Joe Biden as President!

Joe Biden is the reason I pray for the health of Barrack Obama every single day.

^ And that is where we officially are 100% off-topic.
People seem divided on this. What's wrong with some specific advantages disadvantages to Copy Ability/Action/Modifier?
But, as for making no limit...well being able to retain every power you copy permanently should be ridiculously expensive. 70 white? 75 maybe? Really, that kind of power should be restricted to one crazy NPC (like Amazo in the DCAU.)

I don't like Copy A/A/M at all. Not because I feel its powerful (don't get me wrong, it is), but because I think it inherently steals the thunder of not one but EVERY other hero on your team, all at once. Some players may not mind that sort of thing, but I certainly would.
IF you're going to use it, I have no problem with having options for it; the more flexible the better.
As far as permanently copying things... I'd say 80 stones, but then again, I'd never allow it in the first place.

I'm more a fan of the RC+Targeting madness myself! But I'll 'play' with any Action if you give me an excuse.

Same here. As far as I'm concerned, adding more options to most actions and modifiers is always a good thing as long as it makes sense, and what you've got here is great. Also, the price of a Peter Petrelli's Copy A/A/M would be at the very least 75 stones, probably 80 stones like WK suggested. And it should be house-ruled as unavailable to players in most if not every game, lol. I'm very reluctant to create a character with any version of Copy A/A/M even if there are still games out there that allow it, for the same reasons that WK is. I get a feeling of stealing for a mere 30 stones everything the others have bought that makes them unique, for a total stone cost probably far in excess of the 30 stones I paid. It might be only temporary in most cases, but I still feel bad about it. lol.

I have a player wanting to play a (Earth-12)Mimic-like character and I've been rolling the idea around in my head for the better part of a year and even I can't come up with a reason to allow it. And I'd allow most anything.

It is interesting to note most of the examples here: tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AllYourPowersCombinedAre in fact villains, so canon agrees with you. I don't like it as is for most PCs, but I think with some of the options it becomes slightly more manageable and situations it might be ok. I would want to trust the player in question, however.

I think I'll just 'take' Arthur Petrelli's ability and go pseudo-Sylar on every 'hero' I can find!
When is Heroes going to introduce a character who can 'Sense' other's with abilities at range?
