Well, heres the thoughts which came up: 1) Do we Want to make the whole book (with all the original stuff maybe a little rewritten). 2) Do we just want to make a small book containing all the new mechanics? 3) All the mechanics and some remade CaDs?
If we did the first one with everything (which could be rather cool), I think we might be messing with some of Marvels Income abit.. Why buy the old version if you can get the new one for free?

I'm at least up for #2. A lot of the material in the book is exposition regarding the who's who in New York, what a Skrull is, etc. That stuff isn't really worth updating or changing, IMHO. I think we should focus on the rules and let the old book speak for itself. If someone wants to splice in the old material too, that's also cool - I'm just not up for it. lol
Same goes for CADs. If someone wants to remake CADs, that's totally fine by me. However, it's more effort than I'd like to put in. I might comment on a few CADs, but not too heavily, as we could debate the finer points of each one until the cows come home.

I'd be cool with 2. 1 might be stepping on their toes too much.

Once the rules are finalized (if ever), I'm sure there are a ton of CADs I'll be churning out to highlight what I think are good aspects of the system (and of course you can expect Captain America and some of his allies and nemeses)

New rules without some examples on CAD's arent worth a crap, if you ask me. I read through few RPG books, all rules in the place one example of superhero made with them, so far a-okay... but where are some examples of the other stuff? Some enemies, allies, bystanders? Just to give me the general idea what those numbers mean, without having to look at D&R chart every five seconds (it gets boring quick).

We should at least do a Building Blue Lightning or whatever equivalent. If anyone wants to make their own CADs too, that's awesome.

Full Book + CADs and sample Adventure.
Marvel really isn't making money off of MURPG anymore... cause I'll be honest... I've heard of just about every system out there... and before my friend found the core books in a random shop, NONE of us knew they existed.... Our only MU Role Playing was done with the TSR system.

Looks like people are more up for adding the rules and a couple CAD examples.. Well, it would be faster to keep it to the Mechanics and it would be a good idea throw in a couple examples.. Oh, and a Build Blue Lightning is more or less a must to give a good example on how the mechanics work Hmm.. Marvel might not be making allot of money on it, but if we took everything in the original book, added updated rules and CADs, we could just aswell post the original book on the board aswell.. If we don't remake the whole book: It will take shorter time to get a PDF ready

Absolutely not. That's asking for legal trouble. And I don't think this board's owner wants to deal with that. Putting our own housewritten rules up for a V2 should be fine though.

Thats what Im saying (I think).. We shouldent copy everything in the book, since it would be just the same as posting the old book on the forum (more or less.. Just better)...

I tried making a Table of Content with some of the stuff that might be a good idea to put into the book, but I might be missing a good deal of things.. www.mediafire.com/download.php?jywtdykmwimAm I missing something? As you can see, theres room enough for more stuff
