What was intended by the person asking the question and what was asked are two different things. Sorry if I didn't know I was just supposed to ignore the numbers. If they're not relevant, why are they there?
Also, they're not accurate to the question. 30x3=90 not 120. So when I first looked at it I thought the numbers were REALLY important because obviously these blue stones were worth 4x white rather than 3x.
Anyway, I voted on the question as written. Sorry to be a pain, I wasn't trying to be. I cast my vote and followed Option 4's instructions to explain in a post.

Yeah, it had to do with a previous discussion. It's very confusing if you weren't a part of that discussion. And yes, there is a typo in the question (I tried to point it out already).

Well allow me to sum up my views in a form you can use:
I didn't vote for option 1 because... Introducing blue stones is pointless when they're the same value as red stones and you could just say "There are only red stones now". Last I checked the Marvel logo was red and white, suggesting that's why there were originally red and white stones, and also that there's still no reason to use blue ones.
If blue stones are the same value as red stones, why bother creating them? It's like if the U.S. Mint started printing "bickle" coins that were worth 5 cents each. What's the point? It's a waste of time and effort.
I didn't vote for option 2 because... the numbers. They don't correspond well with option 1 for reasons previously stated. That typo screws the poll up. Who wouldn't rather have 120 blue stones instead of 90 red ones if they're the same value.
I didn't vote for option 3 because... I didn't fully understand 1 or 2, obviously

See.. I don't see anything wrong with the Blue stone system.... It's something that puts our mark on the Character Creation system as a tangible, and isn't confusing in the least.
Granted, White/Red was never confusing after the first 2 minutes, but maybe it's time to do character creation in all one color... If not Blue...
How bout Red?

Granted, White/Red was never confusing after the first 2 minutes, but maybe it's time to do character creation in all one color... If not Blue... How bout Red? Exactly my point. Why introduce a new color when all you're doing is eliminating white stones. As for eliminating white stones, the nice thing about them is that you can reduce the numbers you're working with into more manageable sums. It takes longer to grasp, but makes the actual math you do every time you make a character simple. SO learning the system takes 2 more minutes, but USING it is actually streamlined. The people who will use this already have learned the system, so why make them learn a new one when they're already expert at this one?

*shrugs* Cause we like causing mental anguish? We ARE designing an RPG here... that's the point In all seriousness... I don't care what we use, as long as it's simple and easy, I just wanted to get the alternate color out of here.
