Any 400-stone being? Seriously? That makes him more powerful than Galactus, the Champion and Ego the Living Planet put together. How does anyone have a snowball's chance in hell of fighting him?

A) Where are the stats for Galactus? B) Again... this is after my Marvel: WW event! He gets a significant power upgrade! C) It is Apocalypse after all.

A. i.) The general consensus is that a 100-stone being is incredibly powerful. Even the Phoenix Force would probably barely scrape 200-stones. EDIT: OK, I'm exaggerating to make my point. A. ii.) Making Apocalypse a 400-stone being would make him more powerful than all the other superheroes on Earth put together. Allowing him to use Unlimited Transform Self to mix and match those 400 stones whenever he feels like it makes him much much worse. It turns him into the equivalent of a 600-stone being or worse than that. A iii.) What's the point in fighting a creature like this? Either it pwns you instantly with its Mastery of Reality: 15 (area effect) or it lets you win. There's no challenge to it because it's so far out of the bounds of what any 40, 60 or even 80-stone superhero could hope to beat that winning and losing is decided by deus ex machina. B) More like a completely ridiculous power upgrade. There's no way he could need or use that number of character creation stones. Heck, give me two hundred stones and I could build a creature that would be utterly impervious to harm. I wouldn't even need Transform Self. C) So what? Just because he's a bombastic fool with silly facepaint?

I'm just curious as to why you would create such a character. I like to create villains who aren't much more powerful than the heroes but try to use their powers in clever ways to outwit their opponent.
I'm mystified as to why you would choose to upgrade a character who was already way overpowered in the main MURPG book even further.

Any particular thread I should look at? No... just an old game I played in where you built an Apocalypse with an unlimited Stone Count.

You can't hold out Apocalypse like he's the only villain that exists solely to get smacked around by heroes.
They ALL do.
Villains have to be judged with respect to the fact that as the antagonists, they're usually going to lose, and they're ALWAYS going to lose in the long run.
Apocalypse is one of my favorite villains, but I typically enjoy him more in theory than in practice. Most of the time, the build-up to him actually appearing is a lot more interesting than his eventual appearance ever is.

Hope I' doing a good job of this in game... building the suspence up before he actually enters the war that is! ;D
