I actually believe that 3 is fine for invulnerability to a full element. How often are you REALLY going to encounter any one element over the course of a campaign?
I mean, sure you have to watch out for players pulling crap like;
Invulnerability: Fire (3)
Deadly Enemy: Human Torch (5) Deadly Enemy: Pyro (5)
...............
But as long as you're wary, its no big deal.

Depends on the element really.... I mean Fire is very common... Burning Buildings, Fire Masters, Dudes with Flame Throwers, Explosions, BUT I supposed your right... As a rule of thumb 3 stones for a base element isn't bad... Though I would charge 1 more for Fire, just because it IS the most common element...
BUT.. that means we have to rework this system into something that doesn't rely on "GM whimsy" because while we agree that 3 or 4 stones is good... There are some out there that go "NO! 10 stones biotch!" There are also campaigns out there that have certain elements in GREAT abundance where this Immunity would be MUCH more useful than others....
I'd say we should rework the system to be
How Common is the Item in your Campaign? +1: Rare +3: Uncommon +5: Semi-Common +7: Common +10: Everyday Occurance.
What is the Scope of this Immunity? +1 Severely Limited +3 Very Limited +5 Baseline +7 Broad +10 Extraordinary Scope
What is the GM's assesment of this Immunity? +1 Harmless +3 Semi-Important +5 Very Useful +7 Semi-Gamebreaking +10 Why bother fighting when there's a Popeye's chicken over here!

I think you mean fire is the most common element *for a PC to be potentially damaged by* LOL Personally I encounter earth and wood (depending on which version of "the elements" we're talking about) more often than fire, and air is definitely the most common in my life Immunity to Air. Now theres a stupid buy for you...

To me... it would cost 5 stones (Uncommon Occurance, Severely Limited scope, and to me as a GM It's Harmless for the most part)
