I know its possible as you said, but how can it be cheaper to get a offence output of 20 stones? Getting a defense above 10 costs 3w and for offence its 5w? I might be out sync with the plans for attacks, but wasent it normally that an attack (any kind of attack) will be Action + One Modifier or Action + Ability (or as far as I've understood)..
But you are right Malice, we can make sure it won't make it cheaper
However, defense will affect how much damage you will take from a falling building, speeding car, ect.. Which is covered by the D&R chart..
I don't mind trying this out at all, but its hard to give a final comment on the matrix when some of my questions/concerns havent been answered (the last part of my last post)..
My concern about having low abilities and still being able to have a high defense has however somewhat been solved.. However, why should Magical Mike, who has been given a enchantment on him which makes him tougher, pay more for his Toughness than someone with high Strength/Durability? Or if a mutant is born with skin as tough as adamantium? Why should they pay more just because they are weaker?
Im aware that we are talking about a difference by very few stones, but still.. Why should he pay more since he can do less for the same cost? I mean, you could gain the same defense and at the same time have very high abilities, but if you don't want high abilities, it will cost more to do so.
NOTE: Im not against this idea at all, Im just trying to kill the concerns I have with it..

Just to see if i understand correctly, is this how the Matrix is meant to work (along with the suggestion about increasing it):
Muscle Man
2r Intelligence 2
9w - Strength 8
2r - Agility 2
2r - Speed 2
3w - Durability 5
4w Energy Regen: 6
Toughness: 6 +4
Reflexive Dodge: 2
========
"Toughness": 4 (12w)
========
18w - Abilities
12w - Modifiers
30 Total

Magical Mike
2r Intelligence 2

2r - Agility 2
2r - Speed 2
2r - Durability 2
4w Energy Regen: 6
Toughness: 2 +8
Reflexive Dodge: 2

"Toughness": 8 (24w)

07,1w - Abilities
24,0w - Modifiers
31,1w Total
