Hey... I've always wondered how you would handle the power off splitting parts of your body from yourself and controlling them independently.
Any ideas on that?

You might consider using Stretching as a basis. Instead of actually lengthening the body parts, they are detached instead. The range of Stretching could be the range of control over the separated parts.
Just a thought, though...

I think I would modify Tendril whip, perhaps telekinesis, or perhaps combine mechanics of both...
Use Telekinesis's range Tendril whip's free stone weapon modifier Allow a Durability bonus for +2 to cost level Allow an additional Weapon Modifier for +2 to cost level
...work from there?
Actually that kinda sucks since it only accounts for hands. Maybe look at the CADS in the Spidey Guide (Stilt-man and Frog-man come to mind) for what seperating your feet from your body does.
For seperating your head, you'd just behave as if the character were in that place but didn't have access to actions and abilities granted by their body.
