He is very smart and will at times stroke another’s ego, but he hates taking orders and will do what he can to get what he wants. Deadly Enemies (3) Being a Sith Bale Talon must be ever mindful of his surroundings. The Republic as well as the Jedi would not hesitate to kill him on site if they were to find out he was a Sith. Major Psychological Restrictions (2) Bale Talon can be a megalomaniac at times. Being a Sith (3) Being a Sith Bale Talon is hated by the Republic, the Jedi and the galaxy at large. [Section Total = +10W: Running Total = 40W] *This is a 40+10 build.* DESCRIPTIONBale Talon was a powerful Force user trained in the Jedi arts, however he has yet to live up to the code. On his first mission as a padawan the frigate in which he was aboard crash landed on an uncharted mid-rim planet, later named Savea, after pirates pulled the ship out of hyperspace. He and two others were sent out to investigate the planet’s habitat, and by chance happened upon an old temple powerful in the Force. It was here that he explored the powerful dark arts that called out to his soul. He found himself suddenly able to read the runes etched into the wall and could speak its tongue, that of the Sith. The writings said that to reach powers beyond imagination a sacrifice was necessary. Bale tricked his comrade into kneeling on an alter before them and with diverted attention, sacrificed his body to the Dark Side of the Force. After explaining his actions to the other padawan, Galak D’ween, they both agreed to face their future, and both men have yet to look back. Emerging from the temple with powerful Dark Side artifacts in hand both padawans sought out their master, Candrac Forwind, and both were defeated in lightsaber battle. Unable to kill two of his padawans Candrac left them behind on planet as the repaired frigate left for space. Both men later left Savea and furthered their teachings. Since that time Bale Talon has been the product of many Sith alchemy experiments. He has transformed his soul into other beings to get himself out of numerous problems. Bale has many clones of his original form at his home laboratory, on Savea, which he then alters to make more powerful so that he may transfer his essence into a more effective body. Among many alterations, he has tainted his genetic makeup and hardened his own natural skin. To say the least, the man looks nothing like he used to. After facing his master several more times in battle and failing (one encounter left him needing robotic implants for his left eye, right hand and entire left arm, he has since left said body) Bale seemed eager to revert back to the Light Side of the Force. He returned with Candrac Forwind to the Jedi temple to further his Jedi training. Skeptical about the whole situation the Jedi Council secretly assigned Myka, a rare Jedi wanderer, to look after Bale on their next mission. If he was caught using the Dark Side, she was to end his life. The year was 3,999 BBY and this mission was to explore the Onderon royal palace to investigate rumors of continued Dark Side activity, with a team of Jedi organized by Woi-Kaz. This was one year prior the Freedon Nadd Uprising in which the hero Ulic Qel-Droma defeated the evil King Ommin and the Dark Side champion Warb Null. Bale was selected as a member to investigate this matter by Woi-Kaz, because of his extensive knowledge of the Dark Side arts. After the first night in the palace, acting with due suspicion, Bale was finally killed unarmed in his bedroom by Myka. Apparently without a body to transfer into this time it seemed as if Bale Talon was finally destroyed in Iziz, the great palace of evil. Or so it was thought… In the year 3,002 BBY the Onderon royal palace underwent construction, for additions as well as for repairs. The construction stirred a Dark Side spirit still resting in the chambers below, the spirit of Bale Talon. Using the Force Bale called out to several workmen, but only one was brave enough to answer the call. The worker traveled to the catacombs below searching for the beckoning voice; the man would not return the same. Bale Talon had once again acquired a new host to house his essence, that of the foolish construction worker. It was then that the malevolent spirit noticed something; during all of those years of slumber he had become part of the Dark Side itself; and in doing so he lost a portion of himself as if he was purchasing his time to stay animated. Now that he had separated his essence form the taint of the Dark Side of the Force he had forgotten much of what he had learned. He had to travel back to Savea and relearn from the artifacts he had obtained over the years. Now out once more into the world, the first thing Bale did was check his banking account, because he needed transportation to go home. When he accessed his account it seemed that he had come into a great amount of wealth by accruing over 990 years of interest. This was more than enough to get him home. Once he made it to Savea Bale went to his temple in order to change into his old clone body, but it seemed that the temple had been destroyed long ago. His years of work and Sith artifacts were gone as well, Bale had nothing to learn from. He had to again start from scratch and work his way up. Bale had to relearn the ways of the Force he had forgotten and while doing so acquire his old more familiar body. There was only one thing to do in order to meet those ends and that was to seek out Sith artifacts steeped in that knowledge. With no other familiarity of Sith artifact troves he knew he had to apprentice himself once more. Bale Talon had to learn from a Sith who was willing to train him in their ways.

He is currently not a Sith Lord, yet he is vastly superior to some with his extensive knowledge and incredible intellect. At times he serves his own interests instead of his Lord’s, especially if it contradicts his philosophy. Deadly Enemies (2) As a Sith with a hunger to teach his own philosophy and an intense desire to obtain ancient Sith secrets and artifacts, Darth Genesis has made enemies of some of his fellow Sith members. Major Psychological Restrictions (3) Darth Genesis yearns for forbidden Sith and Jedi knowledge and secrets, and at times it is hard to pry him away from tombs and other devices he has collected over the years. At times this can lead formidable challenges because he would rather gain knowledge, then to do anything else. Being a Sith (2) As a Sith, Darth Genesis is reviled by the Jedi as well as the galactic Republic at large. [Section Total = +10W: Running Total = 60W] *This is a 60+10 build.* Notes on Mastery of the Force:I took the option on p.91 of the Avengers book, to make my Mastery of the Force a modifier. I cannot enhance it by adding LOE, because it is a modifier. I wanted to use Dun Möch with this character. The closest action I could find to this was Fear. Because Drain Energy is normally +1 and was +2 on the CL chart for Force rules, I’m assuming Fear is also +2, since it too originally is a +1 to CL and is quite a similar power. The Endowment/Imbuement is from the Asgardian Sorcery Option. I added it to the Mastery of The Force option, because I thought that it reflected Sith Sorcery nicely. I priced it at +2 to CL using the rules for options taken as actions on p.52 of the X-Men Guide book. It will mainly be used to create holocrons, however I will use it for more than that in combat and other situations. If you do not find this acceptable than I can remove it from my Mastery of the Force Action/Modifier DESCRIPTIONGen•e•sis (jěn'ĭ-sĭs) n. pl. gen•e•ses (-sēz') 1) The coming into being of something; the origin. 2) The Beginning. 3) Creation. The meaning of his name is indeed the heart, soul and embodiment of this powerful Sith. He believes that through his philosophy and revolutionary teaching he can lead the way to a new attitude among his brethren as well as a new Sith order. Throughout the last couple years Darth Genesis has made several enemies within his own ranks because of his unorthodox teachings and philosophy. The ideas he teach didn’t just spring into his mind over night, it took a lifetime of grooming for him to come his unique understanding of the Force. Born as Ar-Dren Forewind on the core world of Notron, this young man was discovered by a wandering Jedi archeologist. It was only after some coaxing that the wandering Jedi was finally allowed to take the baby from his parents. After years of training under his master as an archeologist padawan as well Ar-Dren hungered for more. At first it nipped at him, but over time the desire controlled him. Only after he had ravenously consumed all of the books in the Jedi library, he turned his sites onto forbidden knowledge. Using some of the information he gained from reading several “borderline Dark Side” books in the Jedi library, he convinced his master to travel to an exotic locale in order to locate powerful Force secrets so that he might learn them. Little did his master know this world was powerful with the Dark Side of the Force. Once on the little known planet, the two Jedi went off to explore some ruins in the distance. After a couple hours, the two tried to make their way out with ancient treasures, however the Dark Side called out to Ar-Dren. It told him of a hidden passage in a nearby room. Ar-Dren entered it and saw before him a Sith Holocron. In all of his readings and teachings he has yet to come across something as marvelous as this. He had heard of Sith Holocrons and seen them in pages of books, but never had he touched one. It took only a moment and Ar-Dren’s hands were on the ancient teaching devise. He turned around, only to see his master watching him. He begged for his padawan to give him the object and Ar-Dren really wanted too… but this power and this knowledge had to be his. A whisper in his head told him what he already knew ‘Your master only wants the power for himself; he means to keep you from reaching your true potential.’ Following the urging of the voice he came near his master and turned on his lightsaber, impaling his Jedi teacher. He left the tomb with all of the treasures, and took off to study the holocron’s secrets in seclusion. The holocron was that of Tulak Hord, an ancient Sith Lord. Under the tutelage of Tulak Hord, Ar-Dren adopted a mask to hide his true form and became reborn as a true Sith. Tulak Hord taught his apprentice many lightsaber forms, as well as some philosophy. The more and more Ar-Dren learned from his new master the more willing the holocron was to impart some of its radical power to its pupil. Soon Ar-Dren hungered for more knowledge, so he searched out living Sith so that he might further his training and knowledge. It only took a couple months, until he networked himself with living Sith powerful in the Dark Side of the Force. Soon he learned from those who would teach, and read what was available. After a couple of more years of furthering his cause he took up a new more sinister mask and he adopted a new moniker, that of Darth Genesis. He read what he could and taught everything he knew of the power of the Force. Many Sith detested his approach to teaching because he did not fully embrace the power of the Dark Side, instead he preferred to teach about the Force as a whole. The Force is made up of the Light Side and the Dark Side, to know and embrace the Force as a whole is what makes one strong. Some of Darth Genesis’ best and most controversial philosophical stands and teachings are as follows: Over the years Darth Genesis has perfected his own lightsaber form, and aptly named it the Solitary Form. Another Sith questioned him as well as his newly perfected form. In defense of his form Darth Genesis taught: In reference to the Sith code Darth Genesis has taught the following, much to the chagrin of his fellow brethren: In reference to the Force as well as the universe, Darth Genesis has taught: With his unique understanding and view of the Force, one of two things will become of Darth Genesis. Either he will indeed lead to the birth of a new and improved Sith philosophical view of the Force, or he will be nothing more than a foot note in the annals of time. He always has schemes to get the girl; schemes that almost always works. A couple years of hopping the bars soon got boring. The women were always the same trashy, drunk and annoying. Soon it wasn’t a challenge to bag them. It was then that he had a brilliant plan while watching t.v. Pro-Wrestling had the most beautiful women; he just had to bag them. So what did he do? He trained to become a Pro-Wrestler. During his stint as a Pro-Wrestler he had much success. The promoters loved him, the crowed loved him… and the ladies wanted to love him. He won many wrestling titles, and was featured in many magazines. It was also as a Pro-Wrestler that he gained his nickname Coffee “because I grind so fine!“ It wasn’t long before he bagged just about every babe he laid his eyes on; this included fans, as well as other women behind the scenes. It was because of this that his wrestling career came to an end however. After bagging all of the promoter’s wives and daughters, no one wanted to promote him in their shows. It was then that he got his next brilliant idea… becoming a Lifeguard. This was a sure fire way to catch babes! He loved the ocean, swimming and surfing… as well as the bikinis. The only problem was he had no idea how to save lives. In training class he was too distracted by the hot instructor. He tried to learn how to save lives; he really tried, but she was just too hot. The day of the final test came around, and everyone had to do it one on one with the instructor. It was then that he laid the mack down. Soon time was up and both got their swim suits back on just as the next student arrived to take his test. The instructor had no choice but to pass Chris, for fear of being caught. Chris is a rude and crude person at times… but for some reason it works with the ladies. He almost always starts conversations with hotties with a “Hey bitch!” in a deep Dave Chappell-like Rick James voice. Now that he has applied for a Life guard job… whoever picks him up better hope there are no women… or rescuing needed on the beach or they’re in trouble.

No extra stones gained from excess challenges.* *2W Stones kept if standard 40 stone build.* DESCRIPTION James Patterson grew up the same as all the other kids in the neighborhood, except he had a very dark secret. His stepfather molested him from an early age. This fueling him he ran away from home at the age of 15 angry at the world, and in particularly homosexuals. On the streets Patterson made a name for himself in the local underground world. He joined a gang and quickly rose through the ranks. A rival gang member learned of James and decided it was best to take him out. If not for this he may have never learned his power. On that fateful day James and his posse were caught in a driveby. As everyone else fell around him James did something amazing. He manipulated the bullets that were to strike him and striped them of their momentum. As each bullet harmlessly fell to the ground before him, he reached out in anger and blasted the car with a great power killing everyone inside. Scared of retaliation from the gangs as well as the police, James fled the streets. Hoping to understand his powers Patterson joined an occult. One night the group was trying to manipulate leyline magic at an ancient stonehenge site, when they were suddenly attacked by some creatures. During the confusion, one of the creatures (the Four Horsemen) shot an energy blast at Patterson, who again manipulated the energy and turned it against the creature. Another tried punching him with all his might, the creature’s fist stopped just before James who again absorbed the energy and released it on the creature in the form of a powerful blast. This was the last Patterson remembered before waking up in a cell. James soon learned that his captor was an ancient mutant named Apocalypse. Apocalypse agreed to teach James how to understand and cope with his power, however in return he wanted loyalty and a chance to genetically alter Patterson to make his “gift” more powerful. Patterson agreed and became Apocalypse’s War. As with all other relationships in Patterson’s life this too didn’t last long. After a couple years of service Patterson forcefully left Apocalypse to “fly solo.” To embrace his newly won freedom Patterson changed his name to Kinesos and again continued his life of crime. It was during this stint when the X-Men encountered him, and preached that a new and better life could be around the corner. After years of running and anger James Patterson finally broke down and cried, offering himself to the teaching of the X-Men. Although it has been a while now that James Patterson has reformed himself (and again changed his code name to Repercussion) he is still haunted by his past. Apocalypse still wants to exact his revenge, the CIA are still looking to question him for the driveby shooting deaths. And all of these still pale in comparison to his childhood abuse. All of these factors add into his addiction for alcohol, and fuel it. Maybe one day James Patterson can live the life that he wants to live, but he must conquer his past demons before he has any hope for tomorrow.

His mother never really told him stories and gave him roundabout answers when he asked her about him. The truth is his father was a demon. Krystal Sammerson (Keighn’s mother) was secretly a mutant with limited summoning powers. After years and years of trying to conceive a child with various boyfriends she found out that she was infertile. Feeling that she had no other choice she summoned a demon and bargained with him in order for her to give birth to a child. The demon agreed, in exchange for a curse. Ten months later Keighn Sammerson was born. Other than not having a father around Keighn lived what he felt was a normal childhood. He never knew of his mother’s powers until the day his manifested. He was at a neighborhood pickup basketball game, when an argument broke out. Feeling a rage he never felt before he erupted in a blaze of fire while his skin melted away to reveal a flaming skeleton-like demon. That is the last he knew before he awoke several hours later. When he came to, Keighn was in his home watching a breaking news report. Those who he had been playing basketball with were being loaded up into psychiatric tucks to be treated for severe mental trauma. Keighn turned to see his mother crying and leaning up against the hallway wall with several others beside her. They each in turn introduced themselves as professors. That was now three years ago, and that was the day Keighn’s life completely changed. That day he learned about his mother’s secret powers as well as the truth about his father. Keighn also learned about his origin as well as the curse he inherited from his parents, and that he was what you call a mutant. He was also told that being a mutant comes with responsibilities and that Keighn needed help in order to control his powers so that something like this would never happened again. With three years of training Keighn has honed his skills and now has a host of powers stemming from what might be considered from another realm. In his normal form Keighn has learned that he can only summon or banish any form of transportation he wishes, but if he wants to do anything else he must transform into the being he calls “Ghost Rider.” While under his professors’ guidance it has taken Keighn a little time to gain some control over the being he calls “Ghost Rider,” but Keighn still has a ways to go before he can completely control his actions once he transforms into the flaming rider. Once transformed Keighn can manipulate flame and portrays several other radical powers. He can also travel over water and vertically as well while riding his summoned vehicles. Within the last couple years Keighn has turned his joy of automobiles into a career and has made quite a name for himself in the world of semi-professional racing. He races cars as well as motorcycles against other drivers whenever he can be it legally, on the track in front of fans, or illegally, on the street against others. He accepts no money from his races and puts it all toward the X-College he attends so that they can continue to support Keighn as well as other mutant teens like him. Keighn is a bright and very outgoing teenager. He loves to be at the center of attention and sometimes does things just for a reaction. Some might call him daring and brash; some might say he is a wise-cracking jokester while others refer to him simply as a ladies’ man. One thing is certain though; Keighn does love the comfort of a woman and will go to great lengths at times in order to be with one. DESCRIPTION Christopher Malloy has a shadow eclipsing his heart. He knows he wants to do what is right, but sometimes he feels like he should do what he wants. After all that is why he was blessed with his powers, right? Well… perhaps it is a curse. After all how would you feel if you were a 6’2” blue monster looking guy with red hair? A little freaky huh?
Maybe that is why when people make fun of him, or his teammates jest, he gets angry and lashes out. Always to get the last word, always to get the last not so funny joke in. Well… perhaps joke is an understatement, prank… well what’s the word for a mean and not so sensitive prank? Bullying?
Maybe this is why all of Christopher’s teammates distrust him. Maybe this is why they always question him. Perhaps this is why they are always looking over his shoulder trying to find out what he is up to. Perhaps.
Could it be that? Or possibly something else… something more sinister lurking inside of him. A call that only he hears… a call beckoning his will to a more morose stage.
… Possibly.
Or could it be the amulet that he received when his father died last month of cancer? Or was it cancer? It seemed like something ate away at his body and mind… but they could never find any abnormal growths. Perhaps it was because Christopher’s father never listened to what his amulet said, after all it was always right. And what did it say?

******************** Christopher Malloy is a 6’2” blue mutant with red hair. Needless to say he stands out in a crowded room. He has very low self esteem issues because of this, as his entire life he was constantly made fun of, which in turn has turned his heart stony over the last couple years.
He has little to no sympathy for those who make fun of him. In his eyes they get what they deserve. He used to do nothing about things and just take it, but since he received an amulet from his father who past away it seems like his inner most feelings and thoughts have become amplified.
He takes words and jokes a little too seriously nowadays and retaliates in anger and aggression. Although always stopping short of killing people lately, he has just recently put several people into commas. He has a hate love relationship with his medallion and it is this obsession that fuels his need for revenge and retribution against anyone.
Over the past weeks the medallion has become a drug to Christopher and he is starting to notice the effects, whether or not he wants to accept them or not is his choice. He knows that in his heart he shouldn’t be this angry or do the things he has been doing, but he also loves to do them. He has also noticed that he is increasingly becoming more and more ravenous and bloodthirsty, what if he kills someone next time he goes into a rage?
Not only that but recently his friends and coworkers have been noticing his increased agitation and anxiety over the last month. They don’t know what it is… but they feel a need to find out, so that they can get him the necessary help, so that everyone can be safe.

DESCRIPTION James Patterson grew up the same as all the other kids in the neighborhood, except he had a very dark secret. His stepfather molested him from an early age. This fueling him he ran away from home at the age of 15 angry at the world, and in particularly homosexuals.
On the streets Patterson made a name for himself in the local underground world. He joined a gang and quickly rose through the ranks. A rival gang member learned of James and decided it was best to take him out. If not for this he may have never learned his power.
On that fateful day James and his posse were caught in a driveby. As everyone else fell around him James did something amazing. He manipulated the bullets that were to strike him and striped them of their momentum. As each bullet harmlessly fell to the ground before him, he reached out in anger and blasted the car with a great power killing everyone inside. Scared of retaliation from the gangs as well as the police, James fled the streets and has been in hiding since.
Now with no one else to worry about but himself James has some problems he has to deal with before he can hope to join society. The CIA is still looking to question him for the driveby shooting deaths. Rival gangs as well as his own are now looking for him, possibly to kill him. There is nothing to eat on the streets, especially if you can’t make money because you are hiding from everyone who knows you. And all of these still pale in comparison to his childhood abuse. Maybe one day James Patterson can live the life that he wants to live, but he must conquer his past demons before he has any hope for tomorrow.

As Veidt Corporation expanded its resources and expressed its intent to make them more readily available to the average consumer Mr. Kline’s company began its downward spiral. Fixated on the thought of losing everything he has worked so hard for, Devin began searching for ways to restore his company’s credibility or tearing down Veidt’s. Enter Rorschach’s journal. After portions of it were published, Devin contacted the company that released the information and paid an unnamed fee to obtain Rorschach’s original journal in its entirety. It was then that his obsession took over the man known as Devin Kline. He soon poured himself into the journal full time and took everything in it as the truth. He began to live the way Rorschach did, at the expense of his family and his job. It wasn’t long before he lost both to this obsession. Using the last of his money Devin chartered a private flight to and from Antarctica, to where he explored Veidt Corporation’s only standing facility. Once inside he reviewed the security tapes and saw for himself everything that transpired, thus verifying Rorschach’s work as inerrant. Using the tapes as a means of location, he tracked down the spot to where Rorschach was murdered, and dug down into the snow to retrieve what was left of him. After days of excavation he could only find Rorschach’s mask and hat, to which he took up for himself and the rest of the world. The world had to know the truth of what happened, but the former CEO knew they would not believe any video footage or even former CEO Devin Kline. Veidt had enough money and influence to insure that such information would be discredited and insure that Devin was silenced, permanently. Perhaps just perhaps, however, Rorschach was just crazy enough to be believed even if it was by a small underground following. Someone has to continue the work in which was left behind, and start a new journal to record future events. Someone has to keep note of what it is that loiters in the shadows of this world. There are more conspiracies that have to be uncovered. Someone has to watch the watchmen. Someone has to keep tabs on the world’s most dangerous superheroes and save them from themselves. In the past that someone was Rorschach; why should that change now?

A version of a Joker CAD for the Dark Knight movie combined with some comic book canon. In the graphic novel Arkham Asylum, 1989, penned by Grant Morrison, it was suggested the Joker's mental state is a previously unprecedented form of "super-sanity," a form of ultra-sensory perception. It also suggests that he has no true personality of his own, that on any given day he can be a harmless clown or a vicious killer, depending on which would benefit him the most.

For the past three years Tony has been juggling one of the core world sector’s most powerful criminal organizations, by keeping it functioning properly and keeping dissonance to a minimum. The relationship between Tony and his uncle, Corrado Christopher Alto, Jr. was very close for many years, with Corrado acting as a father figure for Tony following the death of Giovanni Alto, Tony's father. However, the relationship was strained when a disgruntled Corrado became more and more marginalized in the organization as the CorSec (Corellian Security Force) investigation into his activities increased. Durring this time Corrado had Ruggerio Filone killed, one of Tony’s made men. Furthermore, he conspired with Tony's own mother, Livia Alto, to have Tony killed (although the hit failed). Despite a level of local notoriety, Tony has represented himself publicly as a waste management consultant to Diktat Sanitation, one of the many fronts for his criminal enterprises. Tony had been using his putative nephew Vito Moltisanti as a buffer between him and his capos during the past two years in order to insulate himself from CorSec. This subterfuge ended when Moltisanti was killed by Tony after a landspeeder accident. Phil Baccalieri was being groomed as Moltisanti's replacement until he was killed by Bobby Leotard's hitmen when the Lupertazzi Crime Family launched a war against the Copola Crime Family. Tony managed to strike a truce with Bobby's underlings, however, and after Bobby is assassinated, Tony returns safely to his criminal enterprise. Today Tony looks to branch out in the realm of “legitimate” business practices. To these ends he has decided to explore the wide parameters of the universe without his made men. Today is as good a day as any other to start anew, or to make some more men and introduce them to his lifestyle. Tony just hopes that his past doesn’t follow him wherever he goes, causing trouble for him and whoever else is around.
