Speaking of insane and absurd, good luck to all my friends south of the border on election day! As always, whatever happens, I hope it works out for the best for you guys. And even if your candidate doesn't win, I hope we can all at least agree it will be nice to see this election cycle wrapping up!

Yeah, well... I think I'm just going to go to sleep and hope to wake up with this whole mess being just a very bad dream.
And yeah, good luck to you all, and may God bless America. I think you guys will need it.

Well, that is almost funny all things considered.

I have a bunch of former-American friends, and they're fantastic. I hope we get more. We have plenty of room, and better beer, so I'm told, so what's not to like? Sure, it gets a little colder, but that's what hats are for!

Maple syrup is delicious. Especially on pancakes.
Snow can be a bitch sometimes, and the cold can prove unpleasant in the worst of winter, but hey, winter sports. And snowball fights.
To be honest, I friggin' love Canada. It's so peaceful, and people are *usually* very friendly and respectful (we do have our assholes, though). It feels like lots of people here are very accepting of differences, and are open-minded and easygoing. Many seem to remember that life is meant to be lived and enjoyed with friends and family before anything, whereas so many others seem to have forgotten that in favor of less meaningful wishes.

I haven't heard anything negative about the Great White North...except wendigos. So I'll take your viewpoints as a general truth.

Wendigoes are totally overrated. Keep your blowtorch at hand and you can easily scorch the ravenous bastards to ashes.
