Wolverine-RAAAARRRRGH!!... uNNNH...Flashes. His own corpse rotting and eaten by crows atop a pile of skulls. Blood everywhere. His dearest friends and allies, all dead... some shot, some strangled, some hanged. Standing atop one of New York skyscrapers, looking down in the streets... only corpses, everywhere, as far as the eye could see, and as he watched his own body, he realized he was dead, too. What the hell was happening to him? Where was he? What was the meaning of this all? After howling for what seemed like an eternity, apparently in pain, Wolverine fell on his knees, holding his head with both hands, unable to react, as the unspeakable horrors appeared and disappeared in his mind. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Start H: 4/4 E: 6/12 2 stones into Intelligence to try and fight the visions as I fall to my knees trying to understand what's going on... Piotr reels back in horror. What is wrong with Wolverine? Piotr slinks over to Rogue. Something is attacking Wolverine's mind. Colossus, calls out with his thoughts. Professor! See through my eyes! Help Wolverine!Inside, Piotr hopes that Professor X is watching over them as he watches Wolverine's agony. He turns to Rogue, How do we help him? He doesn't expect her to know the answer. He turns back to Wolverine and hopes that the berserker doesn't decide to attack.

"Robots? Alright.... Ariel, see if you can short these things. Nightcrawler, let's keep them off guard, shall we?" Storm said, and fired a blast of wind at one of the robots, hoping to drop it or keep it pinned.

Rogue looks on dumbfounded. Fighting what isn't there isn't her usual forte. She couldn't very well kick an unconcious...err...villain? No, they smelled like X-men. Maybe they had succumbed too whatever Wolverine was going through right now. That meant an exterior threat. THAT she could deal with.
"Colossus! Stay with him. Ah' think Wolverine is bein' attacked from elsewhere. I'm goin' to try and find the source. If ah'm wrong it's up to you!"
With that, Rogue runs down the corridor looking for trouble.

If Wolverine wasn't going mad, he could explain that the three deviants don't actually smell like X-Men. He only meant that he sensed the trio's unhealthy condition was Magneto's handiwork. Then once Rogue runs down the hallway, it is Piotr's turn to be faced with his own mortality! This goes unnoticed by Rogue, but she does recognize the sounds of a battle coming from the far end of the hallway. Meanwhile, Wolverine starts to make out flashes of the "real world" through his living nightmare. The bub he shook awake earlier is now stirring the giant into consciousness, while Colossus grieves nearby. Colossus's Health: 2/2

A huge console, shaped like a steam organ, dominates the chamber. Laughing in front of the console is Magneto. Hanging unconscious from a harness above the console is another Magneto. Standing between the entrance and Magneto are robot duplicates of the original Brotherhood of Evil Mutants: Blob, the Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver (in his green costume), and Toad. Mastermind lies crumpled to the floor near the wall, the victim of an earlier fight.
Blob's spurs anchor him to the floor so that he cannot be moved against his will by Storm's winds. "Nothing can move The Blob!" it brags. But this does not protect the robot from Ariel's phasing power. It quickly goes from blowing hot air to blowing circuits.
Speaking of quickly, Quicksilver speeds toward Nightcrawler, but the X-Man deftly leaps away. "Get back here fool!"
Toad is also an expert leaper and this automaton also bounds toward the fuzzy elf. "Two against one. I like these odds!" But the false Toad misses and sticks to the wall behind Nightcrawler.
Then Storm is struck by an energy bolt! "I don't like hurting you. But I will if you don't surrender." The false Scarlet Witch warns.

Action 1: 2 stones into speed to run as fast as she can down the corridor to find the action. (Note that if she does find it she does not crash head long into what ever is up ahead. She will try and stop and take in her surroundings first)

-Ungh...
Logan stood up slowly, then turned towards the trio of partly-conscious/unconscious strangers. Walking to the side of the guy he woke up, he grabs his shoulder and (SNIKT!!) pops his claws out with his other hand, towards the guy's throat!
-Listen to me, bub. I tried to wake you up earlier because I thought you were a victim of Magneto, which usually means a good guy. Thing is, I've just had a really bad dream, and my friend there is apparently having the same kind. So I'm kinda in a bad mood, if you get my drift. Now, what's... 'funny'... is that the dream started exactly when I woke you up. I'd like you to convince me, right now, that you're not responsible for it, and to be very convincing about it. And if you are actually responsible for it... stop it at once, or else I'll show you how you look like from the inside.
He knew the professor disapproved of such methods of interrogation, but Logan didn't trust unfriendly users of mental powers one bit. He was a survivor, and if neither him nor Piotr could see through the visions or fight the terror it caused, he preferred to remove the cause as soon as possible. At least, he offered the guy a chance at proving he wasn't responsible... because Logan wasn't actually certain that it was him. Hopefully he'd be convincing enough to be sure.

Storm wasn't careful enough, and she paid for it. The blast knocked her back and down. As she faded into unconsioucness, she thought... "Whoops..."

Wolverine's uncharacteristically long monologue is cut short, when he's attacked by both the giant and the flier! Logan's claws and adamantium skeleton protect him taking the full brunt of the attack, but now he's surrounded!
All three look ready to fight to the bitter end. Perhaps they fear Magneto more than any intruders. And why shouldn't they? With Rogue gone and Colossus unconscious, it's now three against one!
