How do I post a link here, but make it say something other than the url? I've seen people do this several times, but I have no idea how to accomplish it.

When you are unsure how someone did something on a forum, quote their post and it will show it as they entered it.

When you are unsure how someone did something on a forum, quote their post and it will show it as they entered it. Ohhhhh hey. Good tip! Should have been obvious to me, but hey, I'm an idiot like that. Thanks

This should also help out. When in doubt, google "BBCode help" and you should find some answers. Not all forums allow the same stuff, but it's worth a try. ~TWF

Or use firefox and get bbcode addon or one of the other forum addons. generally bbcode has the most basic functions for all forums. There are some for specific boards, like VB or IPB, since some of their codes are a bit different. like to strike things out. Here on this board is S, on one of the others its actually the word STRIKE.
